Some information may have been translated by Google Translate
Lok Kawi Wildlife Park is located about 20 kilometers southwest of the capital Kota Kinabalu. It is the first wildlife park in Sabah, and it is a good place for families to travel together. This safari consists of 2 main parts - the zoo and the botanical garden. The animals in the zoo include a variety of cats such as clouded leopards, civet cats, and of course tigers, and of course Sabah's beloved proboscis monkeys. Little ones are sure to love the Children's Zoo as they can ride dwarf elephants and pet the many lovable and tame animals. Other animals to watch include otters, gibbons, yellow deer and mouse deer. In the botanical garden section, visitors will have the opportunity to follow the imprint of the history of botany into the jungle. The total length of the walk is about 1.4 kilometers, and half of it is currently open to tourists as a leisure tour route. There is a plant information center in the park, which is the starting point for your tour of the various flower beds. In addition, the park also has souvenir shops, and several pavilions have been built along the way for tourists to rest.

A very good place for the kids to visit. There are proboscis monkey that only found in Borneo.. The animal show at 11am is not to be missed. Not a big zoo but there are well manage and good education trip for the young. Entrance fees are reasonable. Parking is convenient and free. Good price to enter but take a drink in with you as there is nothing after the lobby of the park.
The safari park is also a very large environmental area. There are quite a lot of animals in the zoo. There are quite a lot of animals in the zoo. Large animals and small animals can be very appreciated. The number of wildlife is very interesting.
Went here with family after more than 10 years not visiting it. A lot less animals from last time I came here so was a bit disappointed. Hope it gets better after all this covid situation. Animal show was close too at the time.Bring fan and sweat cloth. Shady but not so airy. 🥵Visited June 2022
Come here if you want your children to see the animals in Borneo for themselves without having to go into the Sabah forest. The zoo is small, but in this small area there are still elephants, tigers and monkeys that are famous in Borneo (such as proboscis and orangutans).
Melawat Zoo Lok Kawi sangat menyeronokkan.
