Riga Castle

Riga is a beautiful city with so many attractions to explore, beautiful architecture and a delicious cuisine. The old town itself is mesmerising, looked after and a very clean. To have a beer or a spritz at the Cuba cafe in a very hot summer day is refreshing.

The scenery of several small countries along the Baltic Sea is beautiful, and there are many attractions to visit in and around Riga, Latvia, including castles, squares and large markets. We also went to the local supermarket.

Riga is the capital of Latvia and the largest city in Latvia. Latvia is a country on the Baltic coast, we visited these countries, Riga's castle has a long history, we came here first.

Very nice place, worth seeing, very good

If you are lucky enough to visit the inside of the Riga Castle on that one special day of the year (for 2019 it was May 18) you're in for a treat! There are performances throughout the night and you get to see the beautiful interior of the president's home! You can see where foreign visitors are greeted and where they hold large events. Don't miss it if you happen to be in town on that day!
