I went to the Saitama Prefectural Museum of Modern Art for the first time in a long time. 1F is a permanent exhibition of the MOMAS collection, 2F is a special exhibition. MOMAS is the Museum of Modern Art, Saitama Prefecture. The admission fee was 200 yen for permanent exhibitions only, and 1,200 yen for special exhibitions. You can easily see it for only 200 yen, so I think it's a good idea to stop by.

The museum is rattling with a huge sculpture of F. Botero, who is said to be Eve of the Garden of Eden. More than 60 works were exhibited at the MOMAS Collection Exhibition in the first period of the event, but most of them were donated and few were enough to stop, such as "Sanpokan" by Ning Sugiyama and Shoichi Shiraki. "Born" And so on. However, the three statues installed on the stairs outside the building guided by the staff were worth a look. ... of "Mitsuo Shigemura", who was from Amami and lived in Saitama.

It is located in Kitaurawa Park, just a short walk from Kitaurawa Station. This time I visited at Kaoru Ueda's exhibition, but since I also possess works such as Chagall, I think I can enjoy it even if I go to the collection exhibition. The design of the building is Noriaki Kurokawa. There were outdoor exhibits that you can see for free in the park, and when I visited, the trees began to fall and it was beautiful. There is also a delicious restaurant, and it is a museum where you can enjoy various ways.

I have seen the painting by Tsunetomo Morita (held until March 22, 2000), a painter from the Meiji era to the early Showa era. Access is good as it takes ５ minutes from JR Kitaurawa Station. I was able to see it with interest because I was a painter whose style changed significantly with the times. The admission fee was 1100 yen, but I was able to enter for free with the Tokyo Museum Pass.
