Salem Witch Museum

The Salem Witch Museum witnessed one of the most important events in American history - the witch trials of 1692. The museum displays are set with reference to the trial records of the time. Visitors experience the drama of that dark period through thirteen life-size stage sets, characters, lights and stirring narratives, witnessing the lies and conspiracies of the Salem witches. In our second part of the exhibition, The Witches: A History, a live guide will explain to you the truth behind the changes and stereotypes of witches, the practice of witchcraft today, and the horrific phenomenon of witches. For international visitors, the museum offers commentary in French, German, Japanese, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Mandarin and Cantonese upon request.
