Today I went to the sculpture park in Escondido, next to San Diego, to see the works of the French artist Niki de Saint Phalle . This is her largest collection site in the United States. The park is named after Califia and surrounded by a round snake-like wall, the entrance resembles a maze. Mystery. Niki gathers and presents her work with a variety of mosaic materials. Here, Niki personally selects dozens of varieties of glass, with different shapes, colors, tones, transparency and reflection. For the first time, she used different kinds of polished stones, such as limestone, onyx, quartz stone, turquoise, etc. Depending on the light, the wind force, the effect of the changing garden, the effect is quite magical.

There are many sculptures, and each sculpture has a story. These are the 14th century war, the British army is about to conquer the French city of Calais, which has been besieged by the British army for nearly two years, and the lives of the citizens are at stake. After negotiations between the two sides, King Edward III proposed a cruel condition: the city of Calais must elect six noble citizens to be executed, and stipulate that when they leave the city, they must be shaved, barefoot, and neck-locked, and the key to the city gate in their hands to preserve the city. This is a historical tragedy that the French people will never forget.
