What a nice Wat
A wonderful Wat in the town centre. It includes the old and the new. Spend time with the monks. One monk is a linguist and speaks excellent English, Italian, Russian, Chinese, Thai, Laos, French am...
A Buddhist temple that seems to be the largest in Sawanakate city. Surrounded by palm trees, the precincts are often seen in Tohoku Thailand, but they have a unique atmosphere surrounded by silence. The shape and aspect ratio of the roof, which are slightly different from those of Thai Buddhist temples, are unique to Laos. There is a relatively well-maintained garden in the precincts, which is perfect for a break after walking tired.
It is a large Buddhist temple in the center of the city of Sawanakate. Many of the monks left from here in the row of Dhutanga. In the daytime, you can see young monks relaxing in the precincts.
