MoreGardens by the Bay plays host to Impressions of Monet, a first-of-its-kind, multi-sensorial exhibition centred on the art, life, and gardens of French Impressionist painter Claude Monet (1840 – 1926). Experience the exhibition’s two distinct but complementary aspects – Impression of Monet: The Garden and Impression of Monet: The Experience – in one location, the Flower Dome.
Location: Flower Dome
Opening Hours: Fri, 12 Jul - Tue, 17 Sep 2024 9.00am - 9.00pm
The Impressions of Monet: The Garden floral display presents landscapes that reflect scenes of Monet’s renowned garden in his home in Giverny, France, which features prominently in many of his paintings. Enlivening the display are recreations of Monet’s iconic pink house, scenes from the house’s adjoining garden Clos Normand, and the Water Garden, complete with the distinctive green Japanese bridge often associated with Monet.
The scenes from Clos Normand and the Water Garden are brought to life with a vibrant, thoughtfully curated plant palette that includes flora similar to those found in Monet’s original gardens, such as hydrangeas, weeping willows, digitalis, daisies, delphiniums, and geraniums. Water lilies – the eponymous subject of one of the artist’s most renowned works, the Water Lilies series – also debut in Gardens by the Bay’s floral display for the first time at Impressions of Monet: The Garden.
Location: Flower Dome
Opening Hours: From Fri, 12 Jul 2024 9.00am - 9.00pm
Impressions of Monet: The Experience is an engaging, multi-sensory experience celebrating the works and life of Monet and his contemporaries. In an inaugural collaboration with the Royal Embassy of Cambodia in Singapore, Orchids of Angkor Wat in Cloud Forest puts the spotlight on the beauty of Cambodian orchids and showcases why they captured the imagination of the country through time, as well as intrigued the outside world. Orchids were revered by the ancient Khmer Empire as symbols of nobility and hallmarks of religious beliefs, and even feature in carvings at Angkor Wat. The floral display features a stunning collection of orchid species native to Cambodia as well as their hybrids, set against the dramatic backdrop of Angkor Wat. Amidst the landscape are local wildlife such as the Asian elephant and the Kouprey, or forest ox.

The garden is so big and beautiful. Must go there again and explore more😌We got to see many gorgeous fur babies that go for a walk there🥰
Totally enjoyed ourselves admiring the light show and participating Inside Out carnival which happened to be there when we were there.
This place is beautiful and serene. I really enjoyed this place if you really want some good pictures and a place where you can be in nature in Singapore, if I still be close to the locals and all the attractions this is the great place. We took pictures in the garden, in an actual tree stump and outside of the garden it really wasn't that crowded which made it even more great to experience. You can also learn history when you walk through the garde; you can learn a lot of history about Singapore and the place and different trees and botanical things. this is a place that I highly recommend anyone visiting Singapore goes and it's also close to another landmark where you can go and shop and enjoty views from the rooftop bar
During the day time looks fine , but at night this place is so fascinating 🤩It’s a must have to visit while you are in Singapore 🇸🇬
Gardens by the Bay in Singapore is a mesmerizing horticultural wonderland. The futuristic Super tree Grove, stunning conservatories, and picturesque outdoor gardens offer a captivating experience. With its breathtaking beauty, sustainable initiatives, and educational value.
Gardens by the Bay was beautiful when I went at Chinese New Year. They had a musical performance and had decorated the trees for the festival. The evening shows were wonderful and lit up the trees beautifully
We went to Gardens by the bay light show. It’s on 7.45pm and 8.45pm. It’s a 15 min free show and frankly the best free show you will see around the world. The lighting is magnificent and tells a story set to music. Our kids were wowed by the experience sitting under the beautiful light trees which was something very special to share.
