War Memorial
A resplendent archway/gate dedicated to the fallen in the Great War (1914-1918). Appears to my eye to be the dividing point between the historic inner city and the more modern part.
Unique building in the city, with unique painting

In my opinion, the Heros Gate is not one of the top tourist attractions in Szeged.
If you are on a multi-day excursion to Szeged, then yes, go to Aradi Square where you will find more works commemorating the history - The War of Independence, the First World War, the 1956 Revolution...
