Overwhelmingly impressive
I have never heard about Volterra, until a couple of local friends took me and my impressions are: must see city and must see museum. The only "negative point" is that the museum has so many artifacts...

Reopened with a few pieces of restored exhibitions It's a pity that all currencies are not illuminated. The urns are ranked by theme but this is not indicated.

Extensive exhibition. Impressionant!
I am not necessarily the typical museum visitor. But I was very impressed by the extensive exhibition and the "histories" on the urnes. Viewable!
A "Muss" in Volterra
A visit to this museum is worth every case. You can learn something about the Etruscans, if you want, or just enjoy it.
