Guangzong Temple

Guangzong Temple has a long history and is one of the famous Han Buddhist monasteries in Wutai Mountain. It is located below the top of Bodhisattva. It is relatively large in scale. The temple interior is Sensen, Sanskrit, and the religious atmosphere is rich and the incense is full.

Every temple in Wutai Mountain has its back story, which is known as one of the top ten temples in the Qing Temple. For people of faith, it is necessary to worship any temple, and for us tourists, to visit every temple to have a good look.

Guangzong Temple is located in the core area of Taihuai Town, Wutai Mountain, adjacent to the famous Bodhisattva top. The temple is small in scale and has high regulations. There are sage points written by Emperor Kangxi in the temple, and most of the buildings are left over from the Qing Dynasty.

The word "Guangzong" means Guangzong authentic Buddhist law. Guangzong Temple is located on the mountainside of Wutai Mountain Lingqifeng Peak and below the top of the Bodhisattva. It was built in the Ming Zhengde two years and was rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty. The Temple of Heavenly Kings is on the roadside leading to the top of the Bodhisattva. Guangzong Temple is commonly known as the Tongwa Temple. The temple sits in the north facing south, backed by Lingqiu Peak, facing Taihuaizhu Temple. Although the scale is small, the layout is rigorous, and it is listed as one of the ten Qing Temples in Wutai Mountain. Free visit. There are 360 temples in Wutai Mountain history. The Bodhisattva top is the legendary residence of Wenshu Bodhisattva, the head of Wutai Mountain Huang Temple. There are more than 40 temples in existence. "The Qingmiao Huangmiao has a total of one mountain, and the monk lama has the same song scriptures", which is said to be Wutai Mountain.
