South Fort

The South Fort, with the Huli Mountain Fort, defends the Strait, but here is different from the Huli Mountain Fort. The guns here are not original cargo, but are imitated. But it is still very historical and cultural memorial.

The South Fort is located on the Jingtai Mountain, southeast of Yuzaiwei, near the sea protrusion. The Fort was built in 1840 and has a history of 170 years. Standing at the high point of the Fort Park, you can see some of the scenery of Xiamen Island, as if you can reach it at hand. On the right side of the fort is Pisces Island, with a wide view and panoramic view of the coastline. From the south fort, you can see the Spanish-style town of Merchants Cardakes marching, you can fly kites on the beach, ride freely, and enjoy the fun of traveling on the endless lawn.
