Ningxia Jiulongwan Sceneic Area

Shapotou Jiulong Bay Scenic Area is located at the foot of the majestic Taiqing Mountain, above the Taotao Yellow River, on the edge of the vast Tengger Desert, and in the quiet sandy botanical garden. In the west area, the core area of the scenic spot consists of more than 3,000 acres of desert and a desert river bankline of more than 6 kilometers long. The Yellow River has formed a 290-degree turn here, forming a yin and yang gossip map, which can be called "a natural treasure and a paradise on earth". The scenic area is backed by the desert, with the Yellow River in the front, overlooking the mountains and the plains. The natural scenery is peculiar, magnificent and large. The terrain is high in the west and low in the east, with a drop of 166 meters. It is composed of historical relics such as desert, Yellow River, mountains, canyons, oasis, Great Wall, sand sculptures, Neolithic sites, and ancient border fortresses. The gate of the scenic spot is beside the SD201 provincial highway and the railway, 1800 meters away from the exit of the GZ35 highway, the main national highway, and 26 kilometers away from the Xiangshan Airport.
