During the day, the Hollywood sign is clearly visible on the hillside in the distance, and the city skyline spreads out at your feet; but at dusk is the real magic moment, when the setting sun melts into gold and the city lights gradually light up until they merge into a dazzling starry sky. Inside the observatory, Foucault's pendulum swings leisurely and the dome screen presents cosmic wonders, where science and romance blend together. The vast hinterland of the park is a paradise for hikers and explorers.
