Miyi Travel Guide
Miyi County is a county town under Panzhihua City in Sichuan Province. The county is located along the southern edge of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, in the southwest corner of Sichuan. The county serves as the northern gate to Panzhihua City. Miyi County is home to a large number of ethnic minorities. Twenty-five ethnicities live here, including the Han, Hui, and Bai. Miyi County has a long history and is rich in ethnic folkways and tourism resources. Attractions in the area include the marvelous Longtan Limestone Caves Tourist Area, the Wangyuelou Mosque, and the Hejiaba Neolithic era sites. Additionally, if you go to Mixi in March, you will see the famous March Flower Festival, when the cherry, pear, and grapefruit trees are all flowering. It is truly a sight to behold!
