Conscious Conversations: Align + Refine | eFIT Institute

Jun 13, 2025 (UTC-4)ENDED
Lake Hamilton
Cultural Experiences
Conscious Conversation was designed to allow for open dialogue around and awareness of how we feel about various aspects of ourselves and of life. Through Impactful and relevant themes we get curious about ourselves and the current landscape of our lives and how we deliberately can shift towards alignment with our truest version of self. SLOW DOWN + NOTICE We will start by getting out of our heads and into our bodies with a grounding somatic awareness practice of breath and movement. Less thinking, more feeling, more noticing. This type of embodied practice gives our nervous system space to observe in the present, allowing us see and feel beyond the busyness of our day-to-day lives and connect with ourselves honestly in the moment. ENGAGE WITH YOUR SENSES + YOUR COMMUNITY We will transition from the somatic practice to a more casual conversation setting. After introducing ourselves and our themes we will collectively share in a sensory activity (could be a mindful tasting, a tactile exercise and/or sound experience, etc) further heightening our awareness and our connection. REFLECT + CONNECT Through intentionally selected introspective prompting we will dive into to how we feel about this weeks themes, allowing ourselves to get present and honest about specific aspects of our lives and ourselves. Then together as a community we will engage in mindful and open dialogue about what came up for us and the aspects of the topics that are often challenging to discuss. We will close the practice with an intention setting, getting specific about how we can use our reflections purposefully as we take this dialogue back out into the world Information Source: cultivated rhythm @ efit.institute | eventbrite
