Transport options to London airports
Most flights London to Dubai depart from Heathrow Airport. There are several ways to reach the airport depending on your budget and preference.
The quickest and most comfortable route is the Heathrow Express train from London Paddington – this takes 15 mins and costs £18 for an advance ticket. You can also take a coach with National Express or megabus from Victoria Coach station. Those travelling from Watford Junction or similar locales, the 724 bus also goes to Heathrow Airport.

Dubai Airport has 3 terminals, each with different services including shopping, restaurants, lounges and even a health club. Playgrounds in the airport offer a chance for kids to let off steam before and after the long flight.
How to reach Dubai city centre from the airport
If you’re not carrying more than two pieces of luggage (one of which can be hand luggage), the Metro is the fastest and cheapest way to reach Dubai city centre. Trains run from Terminals 1 and 3 on the Red Line from 5 am until midnight, and a day pass costs 20 AED (£4.60).
To take a taxi from the airport, you simply head to the Arrivals area to find an official taxi. These are cream-coloured, while taxis with pink trims are driven by female taxi drivers. Taxi costs are determined by a meter but expect to pay 110-130 AED (£30- £35).
If you have some local knowledge you may wish to take a bus, but this is not advised for casual tourists as the bus system is quite complicated.
