Asma Hotel Al Barsha ★★★★
"Decent hotel, and great location. There are many restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance. However, the rooms are a bit old-fashioned and the cleaning leaves something to be desired. The walls are very thin, so you can hear absolutely everything. One night, the men in the room next door started talking at 10 p.m. and didn't stop until 4 a.m. IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO SLEEP. And if people walk down the hallway, you can expect to hear them loud and clear."

Gevora Hotel ★★★★
"The rooms are spacious and reasonably comfortable, making it a good option for both short and extended stays. Facilities like the pool and gym are decent, and the overall value for money is quite attractive compared to other Dubai hotels. However, the experience is not without its drawbacks. Service can be inconsistent at times, with delays in housekeeping and guest requests reported by several visitors. Elevator wait times can also be frustrating, especially during peak hours. Breakfast is another area that could be improved, as the variety and quality tend to feel repetitive over longer stays. Overall, Gevora Hotel is a good choice if you’re looking for a centrally located, budget-friendly stay with great views. But if you’re expecting a premium luxury experience, you might find better options elsewhere in Dubai."

Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Dubai Deira ★★★★
"Good Location, price is relatively more compare to the amenities offered.  The hotel was packed with groups of guest and the breakfast room was crowded and noisy. Most breakfast items were suitable for South Indian guests. The management may consider bringing variations in the breakfast for the other international guest. Overall stay was Okay!"

Getting to and Around Dubai

Dubai has two main airports: Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC), also known as Dubai World Central. DXB is the city’s primary hub for international flights, while DWC is growing rapidly with plans to become one of the largest airports in the world.

Dubai International Airport (DXB): Located about 3.1 miles (5 km) east of the city centre, DXB is the main gateway for global travellers and one of the busiest airports worldwide. It offers multiple terminals, extensive passenger facilities, and is well-connected to the city by metro, taxis, and buses.

Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC): Situated around 31 miles (50 km) southwest of central Dubai, DWC is the city’s second international airport. Still expanding, it currently serves fewer flights but has ambitious plans to become the world’s largest airport, with future operations including Emirates and Flydubai. Transport options include taxis, buses, and ride-hailing services.

Want to start or end your Dubai trip with ease? Staying at a hotel with shuttle services can save time and increase comfort, especially for early morning flights or late night arrivals.
