The overall experice staying in this hotel was very pleasant. Hotel is just 5 min. waking distance from the mashraq Metro Station. Great staff, greets you well and always there for the service, especially Mr. Chisty, Mr. Kevin and the swimming pool guard Mr. Hannan.

We were initially given a rather dated room with leaking shower heads. After reflecting the matter and requesting a room change the next day, the duty manager promptly gave us a newly renovated room on a much higher floor with views of burj al arab, and we loved it! Location was great. Within a minute from the train station. Value for money! Special thanks to Ian, he was very helpful!

The first impression is not very good, it feels like a hostel or hotel, it is not the quality of a four-star hotel in Hong Kong at all, and it is a bit different from expectations. There are not many breakfast options and the taste is not very good. It is not recommended to add. The best thing is the fried rice column ! If you want to have breakfast at the hotel, it is recommended to add money immediately after arriving at the hotel, because it is cheaper than online booking. Staying for a few days is actually acceptable, it is good to be able to take a bath and sleep. If you don't have particularly big expectations for the hotel, like me, I think the hotel is a place to take a bath and sleep, it is actually not bad. The biggest advantage is that it is located opposite the subway station, and it is very convenient to take the subway to different tourist attractions!

The first shock is that we had booked one apartment with 2 bedrooms, so the reception guy requested us to pay Dubai tourist visa for 2 apartments so we had to pay 40 AED for a night and in total, we paid 480 AED for one apartment and the funniest is his explanation 'Madam, this is Dubai Marina hotel, not Al Barsha', Really darling! I stayed in Palm 5*star hotels, and JBR 5* hotels, there did not take so much money and I am not talking even about services. Ok let's think it is hotel business, but how can you explain when we go to the apartment and find only 2 towels for 4 people and a lot of such failed things))The Internet is working badly and so on. Dear management, it is your fault, not your workers, so hope you will make it better. But the restaurant staff and other workers really tried to do their best.

Currently staying here. Positive: - The location is perfect. Direct entrance to the Marina Walk. Short walk to the mall. Enough restaurants in the area, although most of them do not have an alcohol permit . - The staff is very friendly. - The 1-bedroom appartement is spacious. Negative: - This just happened… while I was taking a shower at 18:15 the door rang. Housekeeping asked if they could clean the room. We have been gone all day. I told them I was in the shower. Asked if they could come back after 19:00 as they had time all day. They told me that their shift ends at 19. I asked them to leave the fresh towels and annuities by the door and that I will take them later. (As I was dripping and wrapped in a towel). I got back in the shower, with the bathroom door open, when I heard them in the room! I asked them to leave it by the door and they let themselves in and placed it on a cabinet next to the bathroom door! I am shocked! - we booked 2 adults, 1 child. When we arrived the requested rollaway bed was not in the room. Also only amenities and towels for 2 people. - Cutlery and pottery only for 2 people. So you reuse your stuff during the day because you don’t have a spare. We had to request twice for a third set as we were with 3. - during the week they forgot to bring towels 2 times. One day partial cleaning (our bed was made, but the rollaway not and no towels)

The hotel is 10 mins walk from metro station (Do not follow the route suggested by google map. It takes a lot more time). No restaurants or supermarkets near the hotel. The only option is to eat inside the hotel. Room is decent. The breakfast is good. The swimming pool is lovely. The staff are very helpful. Complimentary chocolate provided every day at 5pm. Also the hotel gave us a free Birthday cake. Overall, not a very good choice due to location, and lack of food choice.

Great value economic hotel, very spacious, busy elevators like any vertical lodging. Also had an issue with the fire alarm staff should be trained to be more polite. The iron triggered the alarm, the staff showed up looking for penalty tribue, they were so fixated on the idea that I was smoking despite being a non-smoker, it was very dismissive and outright rude, I actually had a hard time thumbing them put of my suite! Still the place is good, as long as the staff learn that extracting penalty fees from guests shouldn't become the priority, once they are educated, they were not be desperate to invade rooms and pretend to be professional investigators They front desk did apologize for the poor training and promised it will never ever happen again. So based on that I must leave a 5/5 review as the hotel was nice when that incident is isolated.

I recently stayed at the hotel, and my experience was truly exceptional, thanks to the outstanding service provided by the staff, particularly Happy from the reception. From the moment I checked in, Happy's warm and welcoming demeanour made me feel like a valued guest. Her attention to detail and genuine interest in ensuring my stay was comfortable went above and beyond my expectations. Happy's dedication to customer service is commendable, and her positive attitude left a lasting impression. The hotel is fortunate to have such a dedicated and personable staff member. I highly recommend this hotel, thanks in large part to the exceptional service provided by Happy. She also gave us free cookies! 🙂 Room - we got the view of the Museum of the Future from the toilet, however the view from the room was blocked by external almunum cladding. It’s find though as most of the time we were outside and enjoying the sightseeing in Dubai. Breakfast - we enjoyed the special dishes that changes daily! I hope more choices of dishes. The special dishes such as the avocado toast and steak and eggs are the best!! Love it! Fresh fruits and juices are great! Concierge - fast and efficient, helped me to call for a taxi (though the hotel taxi was initially offered - price is x2 of the normal taxi). Housekeeping - reliable. They did a great job making our room tidy and nice to rest after a long day. Check-out - as our flight is still at 9pm, we were allowed to stay in the room until 2pm and they allowed us to use the club lounge until 6pm FOC. I strongly recommend this hotel when you visit Dubai!! Thank you voco Dubai hotel to making our trip to Dubai memorable! Kudos! Keep up the good work!
