11370139****The hotel boasts an excellent downtown location, making it super convenient to get around. We rented a car, and while parking at the hotel was free, it was quite congested, often requiring a long wait. However, the valet and front desk services were absolutely superb.
The room was huge, and the bathroom was equally spacious. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. A heads-up though, there's no Chinese-speaking staff throughout the hotel.
Now for some gripes:
1. Breakfast is served on both the 1st and 6th floors. The 1st floor has more variety, but sometimes the hotel, to manage crowd flow, would direct guests to the 6th floor even when the 1st floor wasn't full at all.
2. The heavy-set female server (Asian) on the 6th-floor breakfast was incredibly rude! Especially towards fellow Asians, while she treated white guests like royalty.
3. There was no power outlet for the hairdryer in the bathroom; I had to go by the bed to dry my hair.
4. The control panel for all the room lights was on a touchscreen by the bedside, and it was quite buggy at times.

EEva G.I recently stayed at Rove Expo Dubai with my friend Hannah, and we were both really happy with the experience. One thing that truly stood out was the hospitality of Kalyan from housekeeping â his attention to detail, professionalism, and warm attitude felt more like 5-star service, not what you'd usually expect from a 3-star hotel. He made sure our room was always in perfect shape, and his presence genuinely elevated the stay.
We were also glad that it was quiet throughout, which made it easy to rest and unwind â a big plus considering how busy the hotel was due to the holiday crowd. Despite that, the vibe at Rove Expo remains as cool and relaxed as ever.
Another pleasant surprise: the bed was way more comfortable this time! On my first visit, it was too hard and made it difficult to sleep, but this time around, it was noticeably better and much more restful.
All in all, Rove Expo continues to offer great value, a fun atmosphere, and standout service from people like Kalyan. Definitely worth coming back.

Location is really superb near to Bikanerwala (Indian Food ) and taxis are available just outside and hotel is very near to Museum of tge future as well.

0.5 deduction is just for a suggestion to the hotel to please remove auto Sensors for the ac's please if a family is back to hotel after a long hot day and coming back to their room and ac was shutdown bcoz of your sensors that a tough call because Dubai has hot weather all 365 days and ac's should work continuesly so its a suggestion please make it done iil help more positive reviews.. t

GGuest UserOverall location was really good, next to the port and the hotel itself is certainly majestic. For those who are staying and want to explore the historic aspects of Dubai, this is a great place to be based, with the staff very polite and attentive. Unfortunately, there was a lot of construction in the immediate surrounding area which reduced my desire to walk around. The skyline viewed from the QE2 at night is also stunning - you get an almost entire view of Dubai skyline with no obstructions. Despite the construction, which appears to occur for quite a while yet, I have recommended this hotel to my friends as it is definitely a great stay.

The room was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped with everything I needed â comfortable bed, strong Wi-Fi, and a beautiful view. Housekeeping maintained the room perfectly every day.
One of the highlights was the breakfast buffet â a wide variety of fresh options, both local and international, served in a relaxing and stylish atmosphere.
The location was also ideal, with easy access to nearby attractions and transportation. I especially appreciated the quiet environment, which made for a restful nightâs sleep.

EEva G.After a disappointing stay earlier this week at another 4-star hotel in Tecom, I decided to try Novotel Al Barsha for the weekend, mainly because Swiss Butter Steakhouse is inside the hotel. My friend Hannah and I checked in with a mix of curiosity and hope for a better experience.
The hotel does seem busy, which contradicts what some other guests have said. To their credit, we were given our room right away at check-in. I had booked a Superior Twin Room and specifically requested a higher floor for a better view. I also accepted a smoking room, understanding the compromise, but the overwhelming smell of smoke in the hallway left me wondering: shouldnât a 4-star hotel manage this better?
Upon entrance, to our surprise, we found a joined single bed instead of twins. We called reception, hoping to move rooms, but they offered to just separate the beds. Regret hit when we saw how small the single beds were! Honestly, if youâre tall or on the bigger side, this setup will not be comfortableâespecially if youâre staying with friends or family. To add, the bedâs mattress clearly needed flipping, as there was an obvious slope that made it uncomfortable to sleep on.
Adding to the unfortunate, despite being on the 25th floor, there was no view to speak ofâsomething we were really looking forward to. It felt like a missed opportunity, especially given the hotelâs location and our specific request for a high floor.
The bathroom was another letdown. The tissue holder was almost broken, the materials inside looked cheap, and the toilet bowl was not properly cleaned, with visible brown markingsâpretty gross for a 4-star hotel. Thankfully, the bathtub was at least clean, so that was something.
On the bright side, the highlight of this hotel is definitely their spa and pool. We were given discount vouchers for Soul and Senses Spa, and my masseuse, Shatria, did a great job. The pool is a decent size and clean, while the sauna and steam room were perfect. The health club overall is the ace of this place.
For breakfast, I agree with other reviewsâitâs decent. The restaurant was packed in the morning, but the vibe was good. However, they donât escort guests to tables; you just find a seat yourself, which is fine but felt a bit unpolished.
One odd thing I noticed: while housekeeping did try their best to fulfill our requestsâlike providing coffee capsules and waterâthere was no creamer for the coffee and tea. Even 3-star hotels provide that, so it was a first for me (maybe it was just the standard).
Despite these minimal disappointments, I still try to see the positive side of this hotel and did my best to take decent photos that you may see for reference.
Overall, it seems like this hotel mainly caters to group tourists, which makes me wonder if theyâre sacrificing quality for quantity. I hope they work on improving their services, including room quality, views, and attention to detail, so they can leave a better impression of Dubai for future guests.
