Atami Homestays

Ara ... It is a couple who have long been raised. I wanted to see the fireworks of Atami and drive from Chiba Prefecture. I thought that it was a day trip, and I stayed in room 303 for one night. There was resistance to ”night stay”... There is a terrace of 6 tatami mats in the room (there is also a table & chair) I took a walk around Atami Station and bought sea and sake on the terrace slowly! The fireworks were also able to be appreciated by great power from the terrace (^-^) The room was clean, and the joint toilet, the bathroom bath, and the living room were very clean, and I think the cleaning is also going. Hot springs were also good hot water! There are only three washing places, but the stone tub is large. However, there are only ... large baths １, so it is because men and women change in time. If you want to enjoy hot spring baths, It may be a little lacking. But there is a shower room available 24 o'clock on the different floor, so you can take a bath outside the time (however, it is not hot spring water) In the living room, instant coffee, tea, water, hot water, ice and tea ware were also free, so I made it here and drank in the room or drank while watching the scenery on the terrace of the living room. The owner and the staff were friendly and kind. It is an inn that I want to stay again (^^)

This is a traditional Japanese Ryokan style hotel. All instructions are in English however, means there are foreigners regularly staying here. There is a open air onsen (hot bath) which is very pleasant. Must be reserved in advance. Drinks can be bought at 200 yen a pop. This is a fully unmanned Ryokan meaning it self check in and self checkout ! The rooms are very small (4 meter square) which barely fits a bed. Pictures on the travel sites about the rooms in this hotel are deceiving ! The location is sort of OK from Kinomiya station but it's quite far from Atami city center and Atami sun beach . We took at taxi which was 1200 yen. Kinomiya Jinja is 25 minutes by foot.

Because it is a condominium accommodation, I received the impression that the room was an ordinary condominium rather than a hotel or inn. I think it is good to suppress the cost and stay. Breakfast is a style of eating dried food taken in Atami in the Viking form with net baking. Atami's town is very hard to climb down the slope, so I think it's better to start walking after eating here than walking out for breakfast. Although there is a shower room in each private room, there is a private room bath that can be rented (there seems to be a view bath on the rooftop floor, but it is under renovation) The private room bath can be borrowed in the room unit every time It seems to be a system to take a bath like a family bath. When I stayed, I was not crowded because there were few other guests, but when I became a busy period, I thought it would be difficult to borrow a private room bath. It may feel short to the nearest convenience store, about 2 ～ 300m, but it is 2 ～ 300m in Atami City, which is steep, so it is quite tight when you walk. I think it is better to keep buying in advance.

It was really a great stay experience. I was Chinese and followed the tour group to Atami, Japan, but the Atami Railway Hotel booked by the travel agency is surrounded by a cemetery and the room is not good. I came to your hotel alone. I learned through google map that your hotel's reputation is the best nearby, and found it when checking-in. Thank you very much for the boys and girls who helped me check in on January 19, unfortunately I can't know your name, you make me feel the enthusiasm and thoughtfulness of the Japanese. Arrived. I went abroad for the first time and came to Japan for the first time. I can't speak Japanese. I completed the smooth check-in with a little simple English and your reception staff. Thank you again, especially this boy patiently answered my questions again and again. The hotel is beautiful and the hygiene is great. I miss it very much when I return home. I hope that next time I can take my family to your store and experience the authentic life in the hot sea. The hotel is not far from Atami Station, and it is only one street away from the sea. It is very convenient to get back to the hotel from the beach. Although no meals are provided, the shopping street in Atami is nearby, making it easy to buy and eat. The boss was very enthusiastic and found that we were crowded, so he arranged for us to stay in his other hotel.

We stayed here with friends for 1 night during golden week. The place is not in Atami downtown, nor by the beach. However, it offered ok size (very thin walls) rooms and good parking on facility, which is not easy to come by. The host welcomed us nicely and gave us information about the area.

Because it is near ”MuddyCat” that I wanted to go, there is a tablet terminal at the entrance, and the face is initially registered, and the password and the room number are sent to the email. Take a picture of your face on a tablet and enter your password. There was no person at the front desk and it was unmanned. Payment is PayPay (QR code is at the front desk) or it seems to be a way to put cash in the envelope. If you rent a towel or toothbrush at another price, you will pay the same (there was) I didn't find a sleeping clothes, so you should bring it. (if you didn't put it, there was 100 in Max Valley) There was no kitchen, but there was a refrigerator and microwave. The facilities were clean.
