Atami Hotels with Parking

Sanpeiso was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. The ryokan beautifully preserves the atmosphere of traditional Japan while offering excellent comfort and hospitality. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome and took great care of every detail throughout our stay. The room was spacious, spotless, and overlooked a peaceful garden, creating a very relaxing atmosphere. The onsen was exceptional — the hot spring water felt wonderful after a day of sightseeing, and the entire bathing area was quiet and beautifully maintained. Both dinner and breakfast were served in traditional Japanese style and were outstanding. Every dish was carefully prepared, beautifully presented, and showcased seasonal ingredients. It felt like a true cultural experience rather than simply a meal. What impressed us most was the authentic character of the ryokan. Unlike many modernized properties, Sanpeiso retains the charm and elegance of a classic Japanese inn. The combination of attentive service, excellent cuisine, serene surroundings, and high-quality hot springs made our stay unforgettable. If you are looking for an authentic ryokan experience in Atami, I highly recommend Sanpeiso. We would gladly return on our next visit to Japan.

Visiting Atami on a day without fireworks means fewer crowds. The hotel is located right below Atami Station, but walking can be a bit challenging due to the steep slopes. However, the hotel's view is truly amazing, and our family of three enjoyed a relaxing two-night stay. The hotel has a partnership with taxis at Atami Station, so transfers are free. You just need to get in a taxi at the designated stand outside Atami Station and tell the driver your check-in name, and you won't have to pay. The hotel's private onsen is excellent; soaking in a hot spring while overlooking the ocean is incredibly relaxing. However, the public onsen isn't very kid-friendly. Many onsens in Japan provide amenities for children, but this one doesn't. Also, since the hotel is a standalone building, it might not be the best experience for families with young children. I think it's more suitable for couples. The hotel has several restaurants, all of which serve excellent food. If you stay here, there's no need to eat out; just book different restaurants at the hotel for a diverse culinary experience!

A wonderful hotel that makes you want to return again and again. We were absolutely delighted with our trip! The main advantages are the incredible seclusion, the amazing surrounding nature, and the captivating beautiful view that you can admire endlessly, plus excellent transfer service. The room is simply stunning: stylish, cozy, and impeccably clean. The local onsen is a special treat; bathing in it is wonderfully relaxing and brings a sense of complete tranquility. The culinary experience deserves the highest praise. The wonderful dinner in traditional Japanese style was a true gastronomic discovery, and breakfast was very tasty and filling. Huge thanks to all the staff for their very polite, attentive, and warm hospitality. We loved everything and didn't want to leave. We will definitely come back here again! Thank you!

The hotel's location is unbeatable, with a shuttle bus service to and from Atami Station, which you can see right after exiting the Shinkansen, making it very convenient. The hotel is said to have opened in 1973, perched on a cliff. Japan already had 'pit hotels' back in the 70s! The front desk is on the 17th floor, and the shuttle drops you off there. To get to your room, you have to go down. The restaurant is on the 2nd floor. This hotel offers incredible photo opportunities, with stunning views from every window.

The hotel is a convenient 5-10 minute walk from the station, and it's also easy to get to Ginza Takeshita Street. I highly recommend Kakiemon Skewers there. The rooms are spacious, each with a sea view, and the bathroom and toilet are separate. Although the breakfast buffet doesn't have a huge variety, if you stay for two consecutive nights, you get a complimentary special drink.

As a nuclear family, our main requirement when searching for a hotel was a triple room. Most Western-style accommodations that offered triple occupancy within our budget tended to provide a twin room with an extra rollaway bed. However, what sealed the deal for us with Villagiou was that they actually had rooms (Superior Triple) with three proper single beds of the same style. We booked it right away. Staying in Room 403, we found it to be a comfortably spacious room with absolutely no cramped feeling. The three beds were lined up side-by-side, which was great as our family could relax on our own beds while still chatting. The room also had a mini-fridge, which was super convenient for chilling refrigerated souvenirs like 'Atami Pudding' and 'Wasabi-zuke' that we bought early on. By the way, it easily fit 9 'Atami Puddings'! Although we didn't use it because of the rainy weather during our stay, the room also had a balcony. It was equipped with a small table, two chairs with backrests, and two pairs of slippers specifically for the balcony.

The hotel was very clean, and the food was absolutely delicious. The hot springs were also wonderful, probably because it was a weekday and not crowded. I highly recommend getting the dinner plan. For breakfast, we were able to have it in our room, which allowed for a very relaxed start to the day. As other reviewers mentioned, the坂道 (steep hill) up to the hotel was quite something. We went by car, and at one point, we encountered another car coming down in a curving tunnel. Since uphill traffic has priority, the other car had to back up the hill to let us pass. After arriving, we enjoyed walking to the shopping street in front of the station, but on the way back to the hotel, we took a taxi from the station. Even the taxi driver radioed ahead to another taxi waiting at the top of the hill to hold their position before starting the ascent. It would be great if there were traffic lights at the top and bottom. There aren't many cars coming and going, so we just hoped there wouldn't be any oncoming traffic on our way back.

I used this hotel for a trip with my girlfriend. The view, service, and amenities were all wonderful. The bathroom in the room was especially large and very nice. The amenities were all high-quality, and it was fun trying them all out. For this location and price, with a private bathroom in the room, I think it's a great deal!

First off, the room temperature was perfect. It was a bit chilly in Atami that day, but the hotel room was just right. Secondly, the owner was incredibly, incredibly kind! I'd left my suitcase in a locker at the station but forgot the code. With the owner's help, I managed to retrieve it through the staff. The owner helped me so much, and they were really nice. The room also offered a spectacular sea view. I've attached two photos of the sea view at the end. I'm truly grateful for such assistance while abroad.

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our trip here. We stayed two nights and loved how spacious our room was. The private onsen overlooking the ocean was incredible and clean - the water seems to run continuously so it is always at the perfect temperature. The service was excellent and the staff either spoke English or used a pocket translator. Masa and his team were kind hosts explained all our food courses in delightful detail. The Japanese breakfast was incredibly good and authentic. We even got to meet the sous chef who explained some dishes and was so sweet. The dinners were multicourse and French style with truly impressive in-room service. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!
