Boavista Guest House

They were responsive to my emails prior to my arrival. My flight was delayed in Porto and arrived around 1 am when there was a staff waiting for me upon arrival (24 reception). I'd say the room was enough for me, essentials were provided such as shampoo, and body wash. The room is cleaned every day. The hotel is quite a walk from the old town though (20-30mins), and going back it is a really steepy hill so I'd advise to wear comfy shoes if you're walking to/from the hotel. Although there is a bus stop nearby and Ubers are relatively cheap. Breakfast wise- there is no hot food but you get your bread, fruit, yoghurt (continental breakfast). The staff were very helpful during my stay- very hospitable!! i would book again here to stay if I was in Porto.

Spotlessly clean room, shower and bathroom. Shower did not flood the room in our case. Very comfortable big bed taking up most of the room. Not a lot of circulation space or place to put clothes. Booked room only and staff advised nearby bakeries for breakfast which worked fine for us. No kettle on arrival but staff provided this with no fuss. Nearby metro sound didn’t bother us and its proximity was ideal for trips into city (3 stops). Boavista indoor food mall excellent within 5 minutes walking. Good value for what it cost. Would stay there again. The construction of a new metro line opposite does create a bit of noise but if you’re out during the day it’s not a problem (not the hotel’s fault)!

We stayed in a stable apartment for 3 nights. Check-in mode to be implemented, since you need to call the number and agree on the time of arrival (for foreigners this provides the cost of the call, so you might need to review). A spacious, not clean apartment with essential things, but with a reasonable number of towels, as the bathroom is blind and a stick is missing, We had asked to leave the baggage in another place after check out and we stayed over 15 minutes waiting, since the cytophone was broken and we had to call the famous number again. Another small detail: being near a hospital and working on the nearby road, we have unfortunately been waken up by the latter.

Excellent service quality / price. It's a tourist apartment, it's not a hotel. However, everything new and most important, clean and central. What I less liked was that the time of entry is at 16:00. All is done by email, the day of arrival in the morning send all the keys to enter both the building and the room. The response and interaction is immediate so the service, although not receiving, is correct. In my case, I booked a studio and comes with everything basic. If they continue, we will certainly repeat.

Hotel Cristal Porto

The room is relatively close to the city center. The room is big, really big, and the sanitation is OK. The whole hotel is full of blue elements. The breakfast is about the same. The corridor is a bit narrow and dark. They have a problem, they can't check in early, it's in the afternoon After 3 o'clock, before leaving the store at 11 o'clock, most hotels can check in at 12 o'clock. I don't quite understand this, and it's impossible to negotiate.
