MMishDishBishGreat service!! They even assisted me with making reservations for two local Michelin restaurants weeks before I even arrived! I was able to communicate with them via the Trip app. I was also able to communicate with them via WeChat as well (a must use app when in China).
The staff are helpful and polite. They upgraded our room as well! The heating was so warm and toasty in the cold end of November weather. Every time we returned to the hotel we were greeted with a warm room. Since the room was so warm our wet laundered clothes dried overnight. For example, when I did the laundry at midnight and hung them up on the rack, the clothes would be dried by 8am in the morning. The shower actually had very hot water!
The hotel let us store our luggage with them for a few hours after check out which was kind of them. I would suggest providing a few more water bottles to guests each day as the bottles were small and not enough for two adults for their daily water intake.
The neighbourhood is very charming, quietly placed in a hutong (traditional alleyway) but not too far from the main road. There are a few cafe and bars next door. On the mainstreet are lots of food options and there seems to be a trendy retail and dining precinct nearby called Longfu. The Dongsi metro station is also very close by and an easy flat stroll to the hotel. If you have heavy luggage, I recommend using the F exit, but there are a few steps along the way where you will need to lift your luggage. It is definitely not the most luggage or wheelchair friendly station. Thank you to the hotel and the city of Beijing!

GGuest UserThe suite was very spacious, perfect for my family of four. In terms of facilities and location, it definitely would have been top-tier luxury 20 years ago. While the equipment is now outdated, I was very satisfied with the location and size. The bathroom had a huge bathtub, which my kids called a swimming pool. My only regret is that the windows couldn't be opened for ventilation. In April, the air conditioning only provided fresh air and wouldn't cool, so it got a bit warm.

Zzqshining1. We stayed here during the Spring Festival. Two families booked a two-bedroom apartment, and on New Year's Eve, we gathered in the living room to watch the Spring Festival Gala and play games, which the kids absolutely loved.
2. Getting a taxi to and from the city center was convenient, and there's a Siji Minfu restaurant right across the street.
3. Breakfast could be ordered as takeout, and there were plenty of options.
4. Although the apartment building is a bit older, it's well-maintained overall.
5. Having a kitchen, washing machine, refrigerator, and microwave made our stay incredibly convenient.

Location is superb. Within the same compound as the Metro Park hotel. Easy access to eateries nearby. Short walk to the mall next to the hotel makes e-hailing easy, minus the hassle of identifying the correct pinned location for pick up.

MMaria.ezI usually struggle to feel comfortable in hotels because Iâm very much a âhomeyâ person, but this place truly made me feel at home. The first thing that hits you is the size â the square meters are crazy. Iâve never stayed in such a huge apartment before, and it has a real wow-effect.
The apartment has absolutely everything â dishwasher, plates, knives, bottle opener, you name it. I also really liked the shampoos and conditioners, which are much better quality than what you usually find in hotels. The bathroom is spacious, the design is lovely, and everything feels high quality â from the washing machine down to the shower gel.
The swimming pool and breakfast were also very enjoyable.
That said, there were a couple of downsides. The place is so big that the cleaning isnât always perfect â we noticed some signs of missed cleaning, and unfortunately we even saw a cockroach in the kitchen. I also noticed that the kitchen staff didnât wear hats or hair restraints, which was a bit off-putting.
Location-wise, itâs far from tourist attractions and the subway â it took us about 40 minutes by taxi to get to the Forbidden City.
Still, despite these issues, this is a wonderful place to stay. I fell in love with the Ascott chain and would definitely stay here again next time. Highly recommended!
