It is the perfect base for exploring the surrounding Dales.There are many magnificent places to visit, the market towns of Hawes and Leyburn are easily accessed by car along with one of Wensleydales famous beauty spots of Aysgarth Falls being only 1 mile away.Other attractions include The Wensleydale Creamery, Forbidden Corner and the historic Castle Bolton just to name a few places within easy reach from Thoralby.The village is home to The George Inn, a typical Yorkshire Dales pub serving a choice of ales, good wholesome food and all whilst sitting by the open fire. This stunning property is situated with in i40 acres of Adambottom Farm . The Bothy is located at the end of a line of traditional outbuildings and was once a hay barn. The Bothy consists of an entrance hall with a washer dryer and stairs leading to the living/ dining room. A beautiful bedroom overlooking the wood leading down to the river and well appointed bathroom next door with a bath and shower.The Bothy is a luxurious and beautiful retreat from it all! There is oil heating and a woodburner so wonderful all year round.It has iaccess to a woodland garden. which also leads down to the River Ure. There is plentiful supply of wild salmon and trout to fish. A wildlife haven for many birds and wild flowers. Wensleydale boasts extensive attractions. Such as the magnificent Aysgarth Falls and splendid Bolton Castle both walkable from the Bothy,there are many other beautiful walks. There are excellent pubs and restaurants within easy reach. Nearby market towns and iconic villages provide a rich variety of shops and places of interest. Fountains Abbey,York and Whitby are also within reach. Westburn Cottage is an end-terrace cottage located in a quiet non-drive through hamlet called Newbiggin in Bishopdale. Originally a 17th century barn, the cottage has been converted into a cosy property with all the mod-cons & FREE full fibre broadband. And as it's our 2nd home it's also been done to a very high standard. There is off-road parking at the front of the property.
