If you enter the city, take a taxi: 01224 494949, which is about 15-20 pounds. The bus is also very convenient. It takes 727 to walk for 3 minutes, and the one-way fare is 3.5 pounds. [Health] Very clean hotel [Value for money] High value for money, newer equipment, the cheapest Courtyard hotel in the UK is 600 yuan a night (may be slightly more expensive in November, winter and summer) [wifi] Wi-Fi is free [Room size] The room size is normal, not big, but not small. Two people will not feel crowded when staying. Better than too many European Hiltons. [Parking] You can park downstairs [Service] The ladies at the front desk are so warm and tender that they can melt into their sweet smiles. When you stay in Scotland for a long time, you will have a glass heart. Because the Scottish people are too enthusiastic, London will not, and the front desk will not answer (not for the Chinese but for everyone).

Really nice Chinese couple running this place. The breakfast was good enough and the room was well thought through - with a load of coathangers and a multipoint extension lead just next to the bed. It would be a good idea to take your own shampoo/shower gel though. Quiet place. I went over a weekend, so was able to park outside on the road: the facilities appeared to include free parking when I booked, but I didn't see a car park. I would stay there again.

The main reason is that the sound insulation effect of the room is average, and the people next door can feel clearly when opening and closing the door and walking in the corridor. It happened that we needed to go to bed early on Friday night because we had to catch an early Saturday morning flight, and Aberdeen people like to go to bars late on that Friday night. I was disturbed by the people next door coming and going, so I didn’t sleep good. Everything else is perfect, and the hotel service staff is also very enthusiastic, answering every question. The hotel is located in the city center, 3 minutes walk from the train station, and there are many convenience stores around.

The location of this building is very central, and it has very nice working space, gym and public area, which is very nice. But be aware that there are mixed of students, short/ long term tenants so it might get noisy sometimes especially on the weekends. I’ve found a used sock under the chair in my room and the shower is clogged. Cleanliness could be improved. The staff are very helpful and friendly, they helped me keep my letters and packages at the reception. Overall it’s a great place to stay in Aberdeen when you don’t have a permanent home yet.

Booked for 10, 3 rooms were suggested, requested for a cot in one of the rooms. Turned out rooms are so small and cot cannot be fitted as requested. They decided to move us to a slightly bigger room (disabled room) to accommodate the cot. Upon check out, they said I owe them for changing me to another room. Was never informed about this prior to nor during the change process. During the stay, rooms were hardly cleaned and there's always an excuse for everything. Restaurant had crumbs on the seat from days past litter. Some reception staff seems new and somewhat rude. They sneakily tried to overcharge my card but my provider blocked it because it was not authorised. Unfortunately, what was meant to be a great time in Aberdeen was marred by the hotel experience. I will still visit Aberdeen but will be staying in another hotel.
