Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center Shenzhen|1.44km from city centre
Facilities & Hygiene: The hotel has been open for a while now. Even though it's been renovated, some parts do show their age, which is to be expected. However, the cleanliness is consistently good, and the rooms are generally very spacious, making for a comfortable stay. Service: The staff are very welcoming. The only minor inconvenience is having to report your car plate to the front desk every time you leave the parking lot.

My stay at Crowne Plaza Shenzhen Futian was absolutely fantastic! The entire process was smooth, and check-in was efficient and quick. The service was professional and incredibly thoughtful. I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade – the room was comfortable and spacious. The butler service was warm and attentive; they responded promptly to all requests and gave excellent local recommendations for dining and entertainment. Overall, the environment, facilities, and service were outstanding, making for a superb stay. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Shenzhen!

My stay at the Sheraton Shenzhen Futian Hotel was very comfortable overall. The location is super convenient, right next to the Convention & Exhibition Center subway station, just a few minutes' walk away, making getting around and handling business a breeze. The standard room was spacious, the bedding was clean and comfortable, and the soundproofing was also good, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The front desk and room service were prompt and friendly. Overall, it offers great value for money, and I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Shenzhen.

Huanggang Port and Futian Port Shenzhen|3.55km from city centre
This hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to Hong Kong and close to both Futian Port and Huanggang Port, making it incredibly convenient for travelers going back and forth between Shenzhen and Hong Kong. It's just a few minutes' walk to the subway station, and there's a wide array of shopping and dining options nearby, offering guests great accessibility. The staff's service attitude receives high praise; employees are friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Check-in at the front desk is efficient and professional, and room service is also very good, leading to high overall guest satisfaction. Some reviews mention the hotel offers luggage storage and an efficient check-in process. Although the hotel is a bit dated, the facilities are comprehensive and meet basic needs. Rooms are clean and tidy, bedding is comfortable, bathrooms feature wet/dry separation, and water pressure is ample. The swimming pool and gym are lauded as nice bonuses. The hotel's overall hygiene is considered to meet five-star standards, with clean and sanitary rooms. The hotel is regarded as excellent value for money, offering larger rooms and better prices compared to hotels in Hong Kong. Despite the somewhat older facilities, the overall experience aligns with the price, making it a more economical option in Shenzhen.

Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center Shenzhen|0.77km from city centre
Pros: Great location, with good views from the higher floors. There's a nice terrace on the fourth floor perfect for watching the light show at night. The rooms have large windows offering great views, and parking is quite convenient. Cons: The facilities are outdated. There isn't even an outlet next to the bed. The air conditioning hums loudly and constantly. When I requested an extra comforter from room service, they refused and told me to just use a blanket? The breakfast was absolutely dreadful, I can't even begin to describe it. Overall, this hotel seems to be resting on its laurels, not bothering to improve because its prime location guarantees guests. They've clearly cornered the business traveler market.

This stay was absolutely wonderful. Big thanks to Eric for proactively reaching out about my check-in request, providing detailed room information, and considering my accommodation needs. He was both professional and reliable. And a huge thank you to Mandy for her meticulous and thoughtful service, as well as her professional demeanor. She made me feel right at home during my stay and showcased the Ritz's top-tier service details and professionalism – truly commendable. **Check-in:** I checked in at the Executive Lounge on the 26th floor. Mandy warmly greeted me and handled the process. I was upgraded to an executive view room, and the overall experience was quick and pleasant. **Room:** I stayed in a newly renovated room this time. For established hotels, a new room, or simply choosing a new hotel, is often the safest bet. **Other amenities:** The toiletries were Diptyque Fig, and the water was VOSS – excellent choices. Welcome fruits were provided, and turn-down service included chocolates. **Executive Lounge:** The 'five meals a day' experience was great. Ms. Mandy gave me a detailed introduction to the current dining options and recommendations, and the other service staff were also excellent. **Breakfast:** The breakfast on the 2nd floor was quite extensive. Plates were cleared quickly, and the service was fantastic. I highly recommend the Eggs Benedict and rice noodle rolls. Overall, it was an outstanding experience, distinct from my Ritz stays in other cities. The emphasis on service truly resonated with me during my time at The Ritz-Carlton, Shenzhen. I'll definitely make an effort to come back and relax here whenever I can.

This time, my family was visiting relatives and sightseeing in Luohu, Shenzhen. Originally, I had planned to go with them, but due to other commitments, I couldn't make it. So, I could only arrange for my parents to stay at the Metropark Hotel. I was initially worried if they would have a smooth check-in, but thankfully, the hotel staff were very enthusiastic and went out of their way to help us. They arranged a quiet room for us, conveniently located near the elevator. The room itself was well-equipped, clean, and they even gave us a Q-version map of Shenzhen, which was incredibly helpful for finding landmarks! My parents were very satisfied with their trip and kept praising this hotel when they returned. A big thank you to the hotel staff for their warm assistance. I'll definitely come and experience it myself if I get the chance.

On vacation in Shenzhen, I missed my return flight. For the first few days, I stayed at the Kaisa Marriott (far from the airport, by the sea), but I didn't want to travel back and forth and risk missing another flight. So, I found a nice hotel nearby. I have to say, the Four Seasons Shenzhen truly lives up to its name. When I checked in, the front desk attendant was incredibly friendly and approachable, which was a refreshing change from the cold, robotic service at some other hotels – definitely worth praising. Then there's the lobby, the natural light is absolutely unbeatable! There's a grand piano next to the bar, and we happened to see someone playing it. The soft sunlight streaming in made for a truly delightful scene, giving me an excellent first impression of the hotel. As for the room, I was very pleased with the fantastic sound quality of the speakers and the superb view. Although it wasn't on a high floor (I personally prefer staying in very tall hotels), the high-rises opposite perfectly conveyed the hustle and bustle of Shenzhen. The hotel's location is also excellent; the Ritz is directly opposite the Four Seasons, it's only about ten kilometers from the airport, and there's a pedestrian street right next door, making it incredibly convenient to go anywhere. Around 10 PM, we had a few cocktails at the lobby bar, and the atmosphere was super chill. Now, for some minor suggestions after listing the pros. First, the lobby bar closes way too early! It stops service at 11 PM. The front desk attendant even joked, ”I also think drinks should be enjoyed until the early morning hours.” I hope the bar can stay open until midnight so we can relax, chat, and enjoy the Shenzhen vibe a bit longer. Also, I hope the doormen can be a bit more attentive. Since there were four of us arriving in a business van, and each of us had luggage, I wished the doorman would react more quickly and have two more people help with our bags, instead of just one person deliberating on how to carry all our luggage. But these are minor issues. All in all, this Four Seasons experience was a quintessential luxury hotel stay. I hope the hotel continues to strive and maintain the Four Seasons' reputation and service. I look forward to even more delightful surprises on my next stay.

Lo Wu Control Point, Lo Wu Railway Station Shenzhen|6.34km from city centre
Good overall, and very convenient as it's close to the border crossing. Facilities: The facilities are a bit old, and there are very few power outlets, which was quite inconvenient. Otherwise, it has the standard amenities you'd expect from a five-star hotel. Hygiene: Generally, the hygiene was good, but the bottom of the shower curtain had some mold. For a five-star hotel, shower curtains should really be disinfected and cleaned after each use. Ambiance: The environment is great, close to the border crossing, quiet and peaceful. Service: The service was very good.

Staying at the JW Marriott Hotel Shenzhen Bao'an truly made me feel the essence of a century-old Marriott intertwined with the sophistication of urban Shenzhen. Marriott, founded in 1927, began as J. Willard Marriott's small root beer stand. With the founding principle of 'take care of your employees and they'll take care of your customers,' it has grown into a global hotel benchmark. As its flagship brand, JW Marriott perfectly embodies this dedication to craftsmanship and elegance. The hotel is ideally located in the heart of Futian, just a short walk from Chegongmiao Metro Station, making transportation very convenient. The lobby boasts high ceilings and an elegant style, with luxurious details evident throughout. The guest rooms are spacious and bright, offering city views from floor-to-ceiling windows. The bedding is incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep, and the bathroom features a wet-dry separation with high-quality amenities. The recent renovation has made the space even more dynamic and thoughtful. The dining experience is excellent; the Marriott Chinese restaurant serves authentic Cantonese dim sum, and the breakfast buffet offers a rich variety, from fresh juices to made-to-order hot dishes, catering to diverse tastes. Service is the soul of this establishment. A special thank you to Kiki Wang for her attentive assistance throughout, from booking to check-in. Her efficient, meticulous, and timely responses, coupled with her genuine care, made my trip feel incredibly warm. The staff are professional, polite, proactive, and thoughtful, perfectly upholding Mr. Marriott's legacy of hospitality. The 24-hour fitness center, outdoor pool, and Quan Spa cater to both leisure and relaxation, making it suitable for business trips or vacations. With its century-long brand heritage, the JW Marriott Hotel Shenzhen Bao'an offers a luxurious experience in a vibrant city. It truly embodies the essence of a high-end hotel through its facilities, service, and cultural depth. Every detail reflects careful thought, and every encounter is memorable. It's an unparalleled choice for a trip to Shenzhen, highly recommended!

Yantian (Dameisha & Xiaomeisha) Shenzhen|26.63km from city centre
First off, the location is fantastic – right next to an outlet mall and tons of restaurants, big and small. You can take a shuttle or walk to the beach. Secondly, the room was really spacious, making it comfortable to put things away. Lastly, the price was great, much cheaper than the InterContinental. These are all big positives. However, I felt the overall service attitude was just mediocre. The older gentleman with glasses at the entrance, who helped with our luggage when we first arrived, deserves praise. But when we asked about the beach buggy, his attitude was a bit impatient. The check-in staff were friendly enough during check-in, but when we asked questions at other times, their service awareness was lacking. The breakfast was also a bit sparse and not very varied. Kids' amenities were also quite incomplete. In short, I felt the overall service was a bit lacking. Maybe it's just the local custom, or perhaps the service training wasn't up to par. However, when we later went to a hotel in Futian District, we experienced the normal, welcoming service again. Oh, and a side note: the paintings in the bathroom and toilet were really dark and eerie when the lights were on at night. They could definitely use some brighter, more welcoming artwork.

Staying at The Langham, Shenzhen was nothing short of magical—from the moment we checked in to the second we waved goodbye, every detail felt tailored for comfort, luxury, and romance. As a couple exploring Shenzhen, this hotel exceeded our wildest expectations in every category. 🌟 Cleanliness: Flawless & Refreshing The Langham’s commitment to cleanliness is unparalleled. Our room was a sanctuary of tidiness: crisp linens, spotless bathrooms (down to gleaming faucets), and even public spaces like the lobby and corridors felt pristine. You could tell housekeeping takes immense pride in their work—every corner sparkled, making our stay feel hygienic and utterly relaxing. 🌟 Location: Prime & Convenient Nestled in a vibrant yet tranquil pocket of Shenzhen, the hotel’s location is a game - changer. We were steps from trendy cafes, local eateries, and major attractions, yet far enough from the hustle to enjoy peace. Public transport was a breeze, too—exploring the city was effortless, and returning to the hotel’s cozy embrace after a day out felt like coming home. 🌟 Service: Warm, Personalized, & World - Class If “hospitality” had a gold standard, The Langham would own it. From the front - desk team (who upgraded our room as a welcome gesture!) to the ever - attentive housekeeping and the incredibly knowledgeable concierge, every staff member went above and beyond. They remembered our preferences, offered tailored recommendations (like hidden - gem restaurants for date nights!), and made us feel like VIPs from start to finish. 🌟 Amenities: Luxe & Tailored for Love The amenities here are designed to indulge—especially couples! The rooftop pool offered stunning skyline views, the spa was a haven for relaxation, and the fitness center was fully equipped. Dining? A culinary love letter: our breakfast buffet burst with fresh, global flavors, and the evening fine - dining restaurant served dishes so exquisite, we still dream about them. Our room? A love nest with plush beds, smart tech, and skyline views that made evenings in feel like a 5 - star date night. For couples, The Langham adds romance to every moment—think champagne upon arrival, cozy nooks for stargazing on the balcony, and staff who genuinely want to make your trip special. Whether you’re here for adventure, relaxation, or rekindling love, this hotel turns a “stay” into a memory. We’ll be back—stat. If you want luxury, comfort, and service that feels like a warm hug, book The Langham. You won’t regret it. 💖

Both the breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent. The executive lounge was just okay; the food options were the same for several days, and dinner was often crowded with no available seats, making it not very enjoyable – I'd rather pay to eat at the buffet. The room was well-maintained and the shower was very comfortable. Vientiane City (MixC) is right downstairs, which was super convenient for shopping. However, during the Chinese New Year period, there were no extra beds available. My husband had to sleep on the sofa for four days, and on the first day, there wasn't even an extra duvet, which was ridiculous. Everything else was fine.

If you're visiting Window of the World, the WESTIN's location is a huge advantage! The bedding and towels were very new and reassuring. However, I guess the hotel is quite old, so the decor is rather traditional and a bit dated. The service was excellent; they've added a dedicated WeChat concierge, which allows for communication at any time. They've also introduced robot service that can deliver food to your room, which is a big plus. I hope it continues to improve in the future; I still like your hotel!

I was quite happy to snag a room for under 2000 a night during Chinese New Year. First, the good points: 1. My child loves playing in the sand, and the white sand here is fine and much cleaner than outside. Other than the lack of shade, everything else was great – made taking care of the kids a breeze. The hotel activities are also quite extensive: the mini-train, outdoor activities, non-motorized toys, beach fishing, and the indoor pool are all excellent ways to tire out the little ones. 2. Our customer manager, Ivy, was excellent, constantly checking if we needed anything. The floor staff were also very helpful; when there were no trolleys available at check-out, they proactively helped me carry my luggage to the elevator. The downsides: 1. For a family-friendly hotel, it was surprising when a staff member at breakfast said they didn't have kids' cutlery 😂. That should be standard, right? They didn't even have disposable bibs. 2. On the evening of the 21st, we got back very late, and my child was asleep. I was carrying her, and my shoe fell off. The security guard in the lobby didn't even offer to help. I had to squat down to pick up my shoe myself. He just said, 'You can hang it on your hand.' It would have been such a small gesture, but it made me feel quite uncomfortable. Aside from that, there wasn't much else wrong. Many people say the hotel is old, but it's actually fine; it's well-maintained. It's definitely my top choice for a family outing in Shenzhen.

I specifically paid extra to book a sea-view room, banking on the Marriott brand, hoping for a relaxing vacation with my three-year-old. What a nightmare, honestly, it was exhausting. We arrived promptly at 3 PM, only to be told by the front desk that our room wasn't ready. They asked us to wait in the lobby and promised to call us when it was. Understanding that it's peak season, we waited patiently. We sat there for a full two hours and never received a call. When we finally went back to the front desk to inquire, we were told the room had been ready for a while, but they were too busy to notify us. So, essentially, if we hadn't asked, we would have just kept waiting. Our original plan to drop off our luggage, take our child to the beach, and enjoy a relaxed meal was completely ruined. Our child was bored and crying in the lobby, and we adults were utterly exhausted. Even more ridiculous, the sea-view room we paid extra for turned out to be a shabby garden-view room. The room facilities were old and worn, with multiple scuffs on the walls and furniture. There was a strong, pungent odor as soon as we entered, completely different from the pictures on the booking page – pure false advertising. When we tried to communicate with the hotel about changing rooms, the staff said, ”This is the only one,” and told us to make do for tonight and they'd arrange a change tomorrow... For an international chain brand, their reception and service quality are severely mismatched. The procedures are chaotic, promises aren't kept, and the room type doesn't match what was advertised. Traveling with a child is already hard enough, but encountering one frustrating issue after another truly dampened our holiday spirit. Thankfully, the staff's service attitude was decent; otherwise, I would have complained publicly. I can only say that their management, service, and reception capabilities are severely lacking. From the moment we entered the hotel, it felt like a chaotic experience. If the standard remains like this, we won't be returning.

Great location, only maybe like a 5-6 minute walk to SeaWorld. The room was small but very cozy and provided for all my needs. The front desk was decent too, always saying hello whenever I passed by to reach the elevators. Lastly, the included breakfast is actually very quality for a hotel that cheap (coming from an American at least)!

This hotel is absolutely amazing. The first thing that won me over was the view from my room I’ve never had a room with such a breathtaking view before. Truly stunning. I really liked the staff everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. Phoebe and the rest of the team were just wonderful. They were always ready to help and easy to reach whenever I needed anything. The beach is beautiful, though security only allows swimming in a specific area, which isn’t very convenient. Still, it didn’t spoil my stay.Overall, a lovely place and a great hotel. I really hope to come back one day.

The MIXC Shenzhen and KK100 Shenzhen|5.01km from city centre
A great option in Shenzhen for those who like a luxury hotel experience withn nice views. Service is great and even during CNY they try their best to accommmodate requests and meet your needs. A few things: Some of the lower rooms have a pillar in them whichn makes the room kind of small, but I was able to request to a room without a pillar, which was worthwhile as there is as lot more space. The breakfast is included and it is quite good I feel, but it can get very busy during holidays. Swimming pool is also great with a hot tub and a TV. Its quite close to Lo Wu so if you're coming from HK its convenient. A mall (Kk100) is below the hotel and another mall (MixC) is close by as well. I had a drink at the bar to look at the night view, wihch was pretty coole ven though many of the buildings were a bit far away.

This hotel is our top choice for family vacations with kids – the experience was absolutely fantastic! We got a complimentary upgrade to the Executive Floor during check-in, which was much quieter than the main building. The Executive Floor has its own breakfast area, so there were no long queues. It was spacious and comfortable, and the food was exquisite, which made the kids very happy. The hotel also has a private beach that’s clean and not crowded, with soft sand, so the little ones could play and dig without a worry. The family-friendly facilities are in the main building, with a well-equipped kids' club and plenty of activities to keep the children entertained and burn off their energy. Overall, it's a peaceful and relaxing place. I highly recommend coming during off-peak holidays for a wonderful beach vacation vibe, a great alternative to Sanya.

Shenzhen Coastal City, Shenzhen Bay Control Point Shenzhen|12.47km from city centre
Facilities: A bit old-fashioned, probably a 90s decor style. The hairdryer was broken, but after I reported it, the staff quickly brought a working one. Cleanliness: Pretty good, I didn't find anything particularly uncomfortable. It seemed to be up to standard hotel levels. Environment: The location is superb, which was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel. The subway connections are excellent for almost any destination, with the station right downstairs. Transfers are very convenient, perfect for a family trip during Chinese New Year and for exploring Shenzhen on foot. It's right next to MixC for shopping and dining, and there's another commercial area nearby, so you'll never be short of food or drink even after closing hours. Service: Our butler, Julia, proactively added me on WeChat a day in advance and upgraded us to a suite, which I really appreciate. The lady working at the executive lounge on the evening of the 18th was very friendly and warmly welcomed our family. The lounge itself was a bit small with limited food options, so even though we had the executive lounge package, we only visited once. The view from the top floor was nice. Something truly worth mentioning is that despite this being an older five-star hotel for the price, the breakfast was exceptionally good. There was a wide variety of delicious food, which is probably the biggest highlight of staying here. The coffee was also clearly made with care, and my family all enjoyed a nutritious and tasty meal. However, the management at the second-floor restaurant was a bit chaotic. My package included breakfast for two people and executive lounge access, but when I went for breakfast on the 19th, they told me I only had one breakfast, which was awkward…

A big thank you to Xiao Zhang and Xiao Qian! They made my birthday stay so special with a handwritten card and even drew a super cute cartoon character. The hotel facilities are complete and very clean, creating a cozy, home-like atmosphere. The location is excellent too, just six or seven minutes from Sea World, yet the surrounding area is very quiet, situated in a high-end residential zone. Delivery services can also bring food directly to your room, which is very convenient. I highly recommend staying here!

Lo Wu Control Point, Lo Wu Railway Station Shenzhen|6.05km from city centre
Facilities: The hotel has its own parking, both above ground and underground. I recommend parking above ground, as the entrance and exit of the underground parking are quite narrow and might challenge your driving skills. As soon as you enter the lobby, you're greeted with the ambiance of a five-star hotel. Although it's a bit old, twenty years ago this hotel was definitely one of the best in Shenzhen. There's a 7-Eleven right in the lobby. The room design is traditional five-star, but the facilities are quite dated, though everything you need is available. Cleanliness: Despite its age, the hygiene is excellent; the floors are very clean. Environment: The location is directly opposite the old Shenzhen Railway Station, just a few minutes' walk from Luohu Port. Service: On the night of check-in, we were upgraded to a suite with views of the railway station and the port. This hotel hosted dignitaries from various countries in the 90s, a classic five-star establishment. The only minor points are that the living room lighting in the suite was a bit dim, though the bedroom was fine. The bathroom had a 'Hong Kong style' feel (with cooler lighting).
