Our stay at Crowne Plaza Shenzhen Futian exceeded all expectations! The hotel is in an excellent location, close to the CBD and subway station, making travel extremely convenient. The front desk staff Cobe and Sakee were warm and efficient, and they upgraded our room. The room is spacious and bright, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering a fantastic view. The bedding is highly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. A special mention goes to Rina for her outstanding service! The fitness center and heated swimming pool have new facilities that are well-maintained. Every detail reflects a five-star standard. The breakfast is also excellent! Whether for business trips or leisure vacations, this is an ideal choice in Shenzhen, and we will definitely stay here again next time!From$106

The hotel is located in the very heart of Shenzhen's business district Futian. There are a large number of restaurants nearby, as well as the city's exhibition hall where business fairs are held. Our room was on the 20th floor. The breakfast was good and catered to foreign guests.From$120

Luxurious as expected. The lobby was decked in Christmas cheer and I'm impressed they even have a mini carousel in the lobby for young guests. Location is good, within 5 mins walking distance to Futian Railway Exit 10 (where you can catch a train to Hong Kong), 10 mins walking distance to Futian Exhibition Centre and a metro station on a few lines and surrounded by malls including LinkCity which has many food and shopping options. The room is spacious and clean, well-maintained but dated. Wide selection of amenities including pillow options and I love that I can requests for these through their mini prog in WeChat. Bed is a little soft for my liking. Service is tip tops from the concierge to front desk to housekeeping to Lobby Lounge. Certainly my choice of hotel when I next return to Shenzhen.From$155

A pretty perfect stay! I am traveling a lot around the globe and stay in 5* hotels. There are plenty of high-end luxury hotels in the Futian area. I am happy that I chose the Ritz-Carlton. Not just that the location is ideal - from the moment I entered the property until I left I felt a true warm hospitality. Especially Miya (reception) went above and beyond to make the stay memorable - always with a warm smile, very responsive and kind - it almost felt like having a personal assistant. Also helpful was, that her English is very good. Having a big outdoor pool is fantastic to have after a busy day, and for me it was also a perfect start into the day, after having a gorgeous breakfast (good choice also for Europeans). I appreciate the barista-coffee. The room might not be the newest (Scandinavian-like) design. However, it was in an immaculate state, perfectly clean, spacious, with plenty of well-positioned international plugs (no adapter needed) and very comfortable. And most important to me: with a very quiet A/C. So all in all: I truly can recommend this hotel, and when coming back to Shenzhen I for sure will stay here again.From$309

The Four Seasons Shenzhen is truly one of the best hotels in the city. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly and attentive staff. Rachel, who assisted us during check-in, was exceptionally kind and helpful. Upon learning that we were in Shenzhen to celebrate our anniversary, she kindly upgraded our room and arranged a beautiful surprise with rose decorations and a cake. Thank you to the Four Seasons team for making our anniversary so special and memorable. The hotel is conveniently located near subway stations and Coco Park, making it very easy to get around. We initially planned to stay for three nights, but due to the hotel’s excellent location, comfort, and outstanding service, we decided to extend our stay by an additional two nights. The Four Seasons is now our top choice in Shenzhen, and we will definitely stay here again on our next visit. The only disappointment during our stay was the limited minibar selection, and the fact that soft drinks were charged. This did not quite meet our expectations for a five-star hotel.From$234

Overall, my experience was pretty good. The front desk staff were very professional, and check-in was quick. There are a lot of great food options around here, and we tried many different dishes at Dongmen (East Gate). It was a really satisfying trip. A good stay, I'm giving it a 5-star rating. Lo Wu Control Point, Lo Wu Railway Station Shenzhen|6.34km from city centre
This time, I chose the Shangri-La Shenzhen with my wife, children, and my mother who came from Australia to stay with us, and the overall experience was very satisfying. Many years ago, I frequently stayed at Shangri-La hotels in different countries for work, so I'm very familiar with the brand. I'd always hoped to share this wonderful experience with my family one day, and now that dream has finally come true.
The hotel staff—from the greeters at the entrance, the front desk, lobby security, cleaning team, to the restaurant servers—were all incredibly dedicated, polite, and attentive, making us feel completely at home. The room was clean and comfortable, and the kids had a blast in the pool. It would be even more perfect if they could add a heated pool, as the outdoor weather is still a bit chilly.
The only minor suggestion is that the quality of the restaurant's buffet could be improved. It would be even better if it could reach the five-star standard of Shangri-La buffets in other countries.
Overall, we are very grateful to all the staff at Shangri-La Shenzhen for making this family trip so warm and memorable with their professionalism and passion.From$72

A perfect stay at the JW Marriott Shenzhen, all thanks to the professional assistance of Guest Services Executive Reina! Reina’s genuine smile and warm, generous service made a real difference. She handled check-in efficiently and thoroughly, proactively asking about my preferences and arranging the room accordingly – truly thoughtful. The room itself was spacious, exquisitely decorated with great style. The bedding was comfortable, and the bathroom facilities were excellent, making a relaxing bath super enjoyable. Throughout my stay, Reina provided attentive follow-up, promptly responding to and resolving all my inquiries and ad-hoc requests with full professionalism. The hotel’s overall environment is upscale, the service standards are high, and the breakfast offers a rich variety of quality options. Coming to Dameisha to avoid the crowds, staying at Kingkey Bay was an incredibly wise choice. I'll definitely be back next time!
Facilities: It boasts a private beach, indoor and outdoor pools, and a variety of entertainment facilities including restaurants and bars. The breakfast buffet offers a rich selection, with both Chinese and Western options.
Service: The butler service was superb, very thoughtful and attentive – a big thumbs up! 👍
Environment: The beach requires a shuttle bus that runs every half hour. Personally, I found it more convenient to walk back to the hotel from the beach by cutting through the InterContinental lobby directly. It's only a five-minute walk.From$75

The hotel location is amazing and close to the center.
Staff are pleasant, clean and tidy.
I had a good room with a nice view as can be seen, all amenities were provided.
Breakfast was ok, the dining area small and crowded sometimes you might wait for a table to get empty. The variety of food is also ok from chinese to western style.
I came with friends, and during the stay one of my friends got locked out from his room for almost 40 min, claiming that the door electronics are out of electricity, I just imagine if it was an emergency situation with someone dying would they claim the same or what if we would get delayed for the flight due this what would have happen then and what would be the claim???? Just for information no compensation were provided to him.

I first fell in love with The Langham when I stayed there in Los Angeles, then I went to The Langham Guangzhou for my second visit, and now Shenzhen is my third. My biggest impression this time is how incredibly soundproof the hotel is! The room was spacious and fully functional with a clever design. I only took two photos, but they can't describe how much I loved it! They gave me a room right by the elevator, which I was worried about because I'm sensitive to noise. I wanted to ask the front desk to change rooms, but they were fully booked, so I had to just stick with it. However, I slept incredibly well! I could only occasionally hear a faint 'ding' from the elevator when I was right at my door, and there was no noise from people talking in the hallway. It was so quiet! So comfortable! I briefly experienced the lounge. It wasn't as good as the one in Guangzhou, but it was sufficient. There were a lot of foreigners there, haha! I'll definitely stay here again next time!From$118

We booked the Club King Room and enjoyed full executive lounge benefits. The room was huge and extremely comfortable; we slept so well and felt fully rested every morning. The breakfast and dinner at the hotel were outstanding with excellent variety, from delicious Chinese dishes to authentic Western options. 🍽️ The gym was also very complete and great for daily workouts. 💪
Special thanks to Chrystal at the reception. Even when it was super busy during check-in and check-out, she took such good care of us. She was incredibly sweet and welcoming, which made our whole stay feel extra special.

Castle hotel is a beautiful and well maintained environment. The facilities are perfect for families, with a play room, heated swimming pool, and outdoor playground. There is also a ”sand pit” for children, but it looks like an old unused sand trap from the golf course. Nevertheless, my son enjoyed digging in it. The room was a double floor with a mezzanine balcony inside and an outdoor balcony overlooking the scenic golf court. We booked a family room for children and were assigned the ”Spiderman” room, which wasn't my favorite decor, but my son enjoyed it. Some of the room facilities such as stickers and decor needed refreshing and was old and worn (i.e. spiderman wall stickers with tears, remote for downstairs t.v. didn't work great, rubber padding around t.v. was in need of refreshing, behind the screen in the upstairs hadn't been dusted in a long time). However, the majority of the room was attractive and comfortable. The rest of the hotel was elegant and felt upscale. There were some vegetarian choices in the ”a la carte” menu of the restaurant and the breakfast buffet was fantastic. We were unable to order room service from the phone app in English so we needed to order at the front desk. The staff were incredibly helpful, some spoke English, and everyone was courteous and helped us to have a great time. The executive lounge was open from 2:00 or 3:00 onwards and offered nice snacks. My son loved visiting there in the afternoons and loading up on snacks. Overall, a great experience and we will be back.From$100

The Westin's room was in my ideal location – directly facing a scenic spot with a large mall downstairs, offering everything from dining to entertainment. Absolutely flawless in that regard. However, there were a couple of drawbacks: the room was a bit small, especially with a large bathtub squeezed into a tight space, making it awkward to walk around. It's just a design issue, I suppose. Also, there was no night light under the bed, which made it inconvenient for my child to get up and use the restroom at night. Aside from that, the service was quite good. When my foot got chafed, the front desk was very helpful and promptly provided iodine and band-aids. Overall, I still had a very positive experience.From$91

The rooms were very clean and tidy, and the facilities were quite comprehensive, except for the lack of a small shop, which was a minor drawback. Otherwise, everything was great! Whether it's for hair washing, fitness, or spa treatments, it caters to everyone from adults to children and seniors.
The pirate ship and beach area for the little ones are also excellent. Even though the weather is cool right now, both the indoor and outdoor pools have constant temperature water, which is a thoughtful touch.
The breakfast time is also very convenient, extending until 11:30 AM, so you don't feel rushed.
The hotel staff's service mindset and overall atmosphere are excellent. For example, my room didn't have a balcony, and I'm used to staying in rooms with terraces, so it felt a bit unfamiliar. I inquired about changing rooms, and it was possible, but I ultimately decided against it as it seemed like too much hassle at the time.From$120

Typical Hyatt standard. The front desk was great and gave us a free upgrade. The mountain and river views are uniquely beautiful, even on a cloudy day. What's particularly good is that the hotel lobby connects directly to a mall, so you can eat, drink, and have fun without stepping outside in the rain.
However, aside from that, there was no butler service, turn-down service, or welcome fruit. The TV couldn't cast to, and among the five-star hotels I've stayed in, the service was quite average. Here's an objective and absolutely honest review after a three-day stay. Overall, the hotel service was very welcoming. The front desk proactively upgraded my room and even offered a complimentary breakfast when they learned I had forgotten to book it. In the guest room, it's inevitable to encounter some equipment issues, but calling for help always resulted in efficient assistance. This service experience was comfortable. However, there were some shortcomings, such as a shortage of doormen and concierges. When I got out of the car, there was no one at the entrance to greet me or help with my luggage. The hotel's infrastructure also needs improvement; the WiFi signal in my room was poor. Although the hotel sent someone to fix it, it ultimately wasn't resolved. The room is spacious and well-designed, though the bedside tables are lower than the mattress, which makes it a bit inconvenient to place things. The balcony facing the sea is very pleasant. There's a wide variety of breakfast options, and the staff are enthusiastic, but not many dishes were particularly delicious, though it was sufficient. The best part is the many swimming pools catering to both adults and children; the deepest is 1.8 meters, and they're spacious and great for swimming. However, I felt the water quality in the indoor heated pool was just average, and outside pools don't require swimming caps, so hygiene could be improved.
