My stay at Crowne Plaza Shenzhen Futian was incredibly satisfying. The room offered expansive views, and the city lights at night were absolutely captivating, creating a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. The gym facilities were top-notch, with a complete range of new and well-maintained equipment in a clean and tidy space, making it easy to keep up with my workouts even while on a business trip. What impressed me most was the hotel's attentiveness to guest feedback, promptly making improvements. The service was thoughtful and thorough, with attention to detail evident everywhere, ensuring a comfortable and worry-free stay. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Shenzhen. Highly recommended!

The Pro Prime Location (10/10): This is the hotel's strongest asset. Direct access to the Chegongmiao Metro Station and the Connected Mall is incredibly convenient, especially in Shenzhen's weather. It's a short ride to Futian CBD, Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center, and attractions like Happy Valley. Perfect for both business and shopping. Comfortable ”Sheraton Sleep Experience” Bed: True to the brand promise, the bed and linens were supremely comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep after a long day. Spacious and Well-Equipped Rooms: The room was modern, clean, and generously sized by city standards. The work desk was functional, and the connectivity panel for electronics was a welcome touch. The bathroom with a separate shower and tub was well-maintained. Excellent service: staffs are welled trained and have excellent customer services . The Con The property is a bit old with some noticeable minor wears but i appreciate that there was no smoke smell at all.

The room had a strange odor. I tried to open the window for ventilation, but there was no proper screen. The hotel used a stick-on screen that was already torn and bulging, so it couldn't be properly sealed. The bathroom facilities were also outdated. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel restaurant, and the food was just average with limited options. It's hard to believe this hotel is so expensive given these issues.

Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center Shenzhen|0.77km from city centre
This was my first time staying at a Shangri-La hotel, and honestly, it wasn't as good as I'd imagined. The complimentary water in the room was Ice Dew, and there were only two bottles. That's incredibly stingy. For a five-star brand hotel, you'd expect at least Nongfu Spring or Wahaha. They're cutting costs to the point of no return. The last time I encountered Ice Dew in a five-star hotel was at the Gran Meliá Xi'an, about seven or eight years ago. I also tried the hotel's spa, and the price definitely didn't match the service. The woman at the front desk was also the masseuse, and frankly, her technique was very unprofessional. I ended the session early because of it. I would absolutely never choose it again. A good spa should add value and reputation to a hotel's brand. This one felt like it was outsourced. I'm guessing they charge too much for rent, and without making a profit, they just end up trying to fleece guests. I definitely won't choose it again.

My stay at the Ritz-Carlton was polished and comfortable, with the level of quality and consistency you would expect from the brand. The property is beautiful, the rooms are well appointed, and the service is professional and efficient throughout. While everything was executed well, the experience felt more formal and less personal than what truly exceptional hospitality can be. Overall, it is a solid luxury stay that delivers reliability and refinement.

Service: I absolutely have to highlight this! If you're big on hotel service, you can't go wrong with this place. We arrived quite early after flying from Nanjing to Shenzhen, and there was a huge temperature difference. The staff were incredibly patient, helped us with our room, and even proactively asked if we needed a place to change clothes. Ms. Nancy was so gentle and patient during check-in, and her handwritten welcome card really touched me. The local tourist map she provided was also super useful. Plus, the duty manager at the front desk that day was very helpful, sharing insights about the nearby commercial areas – truly excellent! Ambiance: The hotel's location is fantastic, right opposite the Futian Exhibition Center. You don't have to worry about food, drinks, or entertainment, as everything is easily accessible. Getting around is convenient, and there's even a border crossing nearby for trips to Hong Kong. Facilities: Four Seasons is a relatively well-established hotel in Shenzhen. After staying at one in Hong Kong, I was curious to experience their mainland China offering. It has everything you'd expect, and it all works perfectly. I was very satisfied. Especially noteworthy is the bathroom floor – it's anti-slip but not abrasive, so no need for a bath mat, and the drainage is incredibly fast. It's the best experience and most functional bathroom I've encountered in a hotel so far (my focus points might be a bit odd, I know!). My two stays at Four Seasons have truly won me over. I'm already looking forward to my next visit! This trip to Shenzhen was delightful and comfortable.

The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and promptly delivered all the amenities I requested. Many thanks! The location is fantastic for shopping and very close to Dongmen Old Street. Good overall, and very convenient as it's close to the border crossing. Facilities: The facilities are a bit old, and there are very few power outlets, which was quite inconvenient. Otherwise, it has the standard amenities you'd expect from a five-star hotel. Hygiene: Generally, the hygiene was good, but the bottom of the shower curtain had some mold. For a five-star hotel, shower curtains should really be disinfected and cleaned after each use. Ambiance: The environment is great, close to the border crossing, quiet and peaceful. Service: The service was very good.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel during the festive season. The hotel was beautifully decorated with warm and cheerful New Year decorations, creating a cozy and joyful atmosphere everywhere. What made my stay truly perfect was the excellent service from Kiki. She was so kind, thoughtful, and attentive to every detail. The environment here is a reflection of how subpar Shenzhen's city planning is! There's construction happening all around. I asked the front desk for a quiet room, and they assured me it wouldn't be noisy. To my surprise, it truly was quiet – a miracle! The room came with a charging cable, a UK-style power outlet, a fridge, and the TV was clear and easy on the eyes, with a working remote. Even though the window was sealed, there were no strange odors in the room or hallway, thanks to scheduled air purification. The lobby takes up almost an entire floor and has a grand, historic feel to it. The nearby convenience store was also well-stocked and useful. Overall, this place is at least a full step above the glorious hotel diagonally across the street. I still have to say, Shenzhen's city planning is truly awful 👎

This stay was absolutely fantastic, I have to give it a full five stars! The staff were incredibly patient, gentle, and thoughtful. They genuinely helped with any questions we had, without being dismissive at all. We even had a dedicated butler who was always available, responding to our needs super fast and making immediate arrangements, which made everything so easy and comfortable. The location is also perfect, extremely convenient for getting around. My favorite part was the shared private beach – no need to deal with crowded public beaches. We could just quietly enjoy the sea, take photos, and walk around, creating such a wonderful atmosphere. My daughter especially loved the small tent, toys, and Peppa Pig in the family room. Overall, it was a very relaxing stay with excellent service and a comfortable environment. I'll definitely choose this place again next time. Highly recommended!

Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center Shenzhen|3.95km from city centre
I deliberated for a long time over where to go for a staycation in Shenzhen and finally settled on The Langham, Shenzhen. It happened to be my birthday, and I was only hoping for some simple relaxation, but I was pleasantly surprised and touched by thoughtful gestures throughout my stay. I absolutely have to document this genuine experience. Staying in an Executive King Room, every detail lived up to a five-star standard. The most impressive part was undoubtedly the Executive Lounge check-in experience. It completely bypassed the hassle of queuing in the main lobby, taking me directly to an exclusive floor to complete the formalities. The moment I stepped into the lounge, I was captivated by its old-money charm. There were no flashy decorations, just warm wooden furnishings, subtly elegant lighting, and the faint scent of ginger lily in the air. It instantly melted away the city's hustle and bustle, creating an incredibly serene and atmospheric vibe, a stark contrast to those 'influencer-style' hotels. Elegance was etched into every detail. The staff's service truly embodied 'home away from home.' They greeted me with smiles throughout, and the check-in process was efficient and seamless. They weren't overly intrusive but accurately anticipated and responded to my needs. Upon learning it was my birthday, they not only offered their well wishes but also discreetly prepared a little surprise later on. There was no forced flattery, just perfectly balanced thoughtfulness – that sense of proportion really earned extra points. While waiting to check into my room in the lounge, I could enjoy a drink, gazing out at Shenzhen's city view through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Just sitting there quietly for a while was already a treat. The Executive King Room was very spacious, with a well-designed layout across 56 sqm, feeling not at all cramped. The overall decor continued the hotel's old-money aesthetic, with a clever blend of classic English furniture and subtle Chinese details. The quality was evident, and the soft furnishings were sophisticated yet cozy, making for a wonderfully comfortable stay. The bedding was just right in terms of firmness, allowing me to relax instantly and sleep soundly through the night, completely free from the discomfort of an unfamiliar environment. I must commend the hidden compartment for laundry in the room – it truly catered to the need for privacy! There was no need to leave clothes to be ironed exposed or to specifically contact staff for pickup and delivery. Placing them in the compartment was both tidy and discreet, which is fantastic for those who value privacy. It really showed the hotel's thoughtful design. Besides that, the room facilities were comprehensive, including a freestanding bathtub, custom bottled water, and a wide selection of tea bags and beverages. Everything was well-maintained and showed no signs of age, with quality evident in every detail. Breakfast did not disappoint either. As an executive room guest, I had the option of dining at the 2nd-floor buffet restaurant or the Executive Lounge. I tried both briefly, and each had its own unique appeal. The variety of dishes was extensive, catering to both Chinese and Western tastes, with hot dishes, cold cuts, pastries, fruits, and a noodle station all available. The ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were on point. I particularly enjoyed the Lanzhou hand-pulled noodles from the noodle station, made fresh to order and incredibly fragrant. There were also exquisite Danish pastries, scones, and other baked goods that were both visually appealing and delicious. Slowly enjoying breakfast to start a pleasant day filled me with happiness. My entire birthday staycation had no missteps. From the attentive service and elegant old-money ambiance of the Executive Lounge to the comfort of the room, the delicious breakfast, and delightful details like the hidden laundry compartment, every aspect felt well worth the price. The hotel's location is also very convenient, adjacent to a commercial district and within walking distance of the subway station, making travel and dining very easy. The second floor also offers direct access to a shopping mall, perfect for a leisurely stroll in your free time. Throughout the experience, whether it was the service, ambiance, or attention to detail, I truly felt the quality of The Langham brand. All staff members were highly professional; everyone I encountered would proactively greet me, being warm yet respectful of boundaries. I'm genuinely delighted to have spent my birthday at such a hotel. It has already been added to my Shenzhen staycation repurchase list, and I'll prioritize staying here again on my next visit to Shenzhen. I also recommend it to friends who appreciate an old-money aesthetic, quality accommodation, and excellent service.

Room Amenities: I booked a room in the Seaview Wing. This hotel also has a South Sea Wing, both under the same hotel name, but they're completely different in style. That's because they used to be two separate hotels that merged. The South Sea Wing rooms are larger and include suites. The Seaview Wing rooms are smaller. After all the essential amenities are in place, there's very little space to move around. However, its advantage, as the name suggests, is the unbeatable sea view where you can watch the sunrise. Breakfast: Nothing special, standard offerings. Room View: The Seaview Wing offers an unbeatable view. Swimming Pool: The indoor pool has a good view, but it's a bit small, about 20 meters long and five or six meters wide, so it can't accommodate many people. I didn't visit the outdoor pool since it's winter, but it can't compare to the outdoor pool with an artificial beach at OCT InterContinental. Executive Lounge: It's quite bright and spacious. The breakfast served here is a '阉割版本' (a trimmed-down version) of the breakfast served downstairs, good enough for a light meal.

Knowing it was my sister's birthday, they specially decorated the room and even prepared a lovely birthday cake 🎂, which made us all very happy 🥳! Thank you 🙏! The three of us (my mother, sister, and I) stayed in a family room with beautiful sea views and stunning sunsets. The room itself was spacious and comfortable – truly excellent 👍! Moreover, staying at the Hyatt Regency Yantian makes it very convenient to explore the surroundings. The Lighthouse Library and Yantian Waterfront Boardwalk are nearby, and you can take one metro stop to visit Chung Ying Street (remember to apply online in advance for free entry 🆓). There's also a 'Mountain and Sea Express' bus near the hotel that takes you to Enshang Wetland Park, often dubbed 'Shenzhen's Altai.' And if you take the metro to 'Yantian Market,' you'll find the famous Yantian Seafood Street where you can feast to your heart's content. All in all, our three-day, two-night trip was absolutely delightful!

The weather in Shenzhen is great, neither too hot nor too cold. In this digital age, planning your trips is a must. How can you find an affordable and comfortable place to relax for a day? First, you need to sort out accommodation. Hotel standards vary, and so do prices. I chose the Quchuang Hotel, which is close to the subway station, making it convenient for getting around, shopping, and dining. Of course, there's always a difference between the photos in the booking and the actual place; in this era of technology, photos are often filtered, and celebrities are packaged. Online shopping often differs from what you receive, and I'm okay with that. The hotel is a bit old, but it's clean. There are many subway lines nearby, and because it's on a lower floor, it can be a bit noisy. That's the trade-off for convenience – you win some, you lose some. However, the front desk does provide earplugs. If you're looking for a five-star experience for just 200 RMB, this isn't it; there are hotels nearby starting from 500-600 RMB. I ultimately chose this one for its better value for money.

The lobby has a minimalist design, and the room was very cozy with just the right amount of light – not too harsh or overwhelming. There's a balcony with fresh air, and the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. The towels and bedding were brand new, and the comforter was incredibly soft and comfortable. The Wi-Fi was also excellent, with smooth streaming for videos. Most importantly, the price was very affordable, and the management was meticulous, which made me feel quite secure. The key card access to the floor felt especially safe. The front desk kindly upgraded my room for free, and their service was attentive and thoughtful. They enthusiastically explained subway routes and tourist itineraries. Breakfast was fantastic, with very fresh fruit and a wide variety of delicious options. It was a thoroughly satisfying experience. I highly recommend staying here. It was a very pleasant stay.

The location is fantastic, making it super convenient to get around. There's public transportation and a supermarket right outside, so no worries about commuting! The room was clean, tidy, and odor-free, and the bedding was so soft I slept like a baby. The natural light and ventilation were excellent! The facilities were complete and worked well, with plenty of hot water and stable water pressure. The front desk service was warm and attentive, check-in and check-out were super fast, and they responded promptly to any requests. The cleanliness details were impeccable, and the toiletries were high quality. This place offers incredible value for money. I'll definitely stay here again next time and wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

The hotel is right next to the beach, and the sound of the waves is incredibly soothing – you just can't get enough of it. Steven's service was absolutely superb, and the free parking lot was very spacious. The complimentary sweet soup for goodnight was a thoughtful touch, and breakfast was delicious. The recommended lunch was also quite good. Just playing on the hotel's beach was incredibly satisfying; it felt like there was no need to visit any other beaches.

My relatives were visiting China for the first time, so I booked a nicer hotel for them. However, the room wasn't as spacious as it appeared in the pictures, and it might have been a bit old as there was a strange smell. The city view also wasn't great. I felt it wasn't worth the price, but the service was quite good!

My family had an unexpected business trip to Shenzhen, and knowing I'm a regular at the Kaisa Marriott, they asked me to book two rooms for them. First and foremost, I have to thank Marriott concierge Aira for upgrading me to a suite. There was a funny little mix-up during the booking process; since I'd booked through Nancy last time, I thought I was chatting with Nancy's private WeChat and kept calling her Nancy. Aira finally told me it was her work phone, hahaha! But whether it's Nancy, Aira, or any other concierge, they all fulfill their duties with great professionalism and approachability. There's not much to say about the room itself – it's consistently fantastic. Opening the curtains reveals a stunning sea view, which is truly delightful, and the weather was lovely too. The only downside, as always, is the hotel's sound system. The sound quality is genuinely, genuinely, genuinely terrible! I practically want to beg the hotel to replace it with a better one. For us music lovers, it's almost painful enough to make us cry. Still, overall, it's a superb hotel. I always say that the Marriott is the best seaside resort hotel in my heart, and this time is no exception. I hope the hotel considers my suggestion and improves on small details like the audio system. That would truly make it perfect among perfections!

Yantian (Dameisha & Xiaomeisha) Shenzhen|26.99km from city centre
This time the hotel was really crowded, and I appreciated the hotel calling me beforehand to check my arrival time and needs. Since it was so busy, they upgraded us to an Executive Sea View Room, which was a nice touch and showed their thoughtfulness. However, as someone who vacations at the InterContinental Dameisha every year, I was still quite disappointed this time. In the past, the hotel used to give out beach toys and octopus plushies, and there were always friendly, smiling staff everywhere. But this visit was truly disappointing. There were no staff members at the exit from the hotel to the beach, and everyone had to swipe their room cards themselves. With so many people coming and going, it just felt chaotic. The quality of the buffet dinner has also gone down significantly. The previously young, smiling staff now seem older and much more aloof, and the service quality has declined a lot. This hotel used to be the pinnacle of parent-child hotels in Shenzhen, consistently ranked number one. If things continue like this, it will surely be surpassed by the MGM next door. I still hope the current hotel team will put more effort into it and not let a hotel with such a good reputation deteriorate.

Shenzhen Coastal City, Shenzhen Bay Control Point Shenzhen|12.47km from city centre
The hotel's location is excellent, right in the heart of a shopping district, and directly above a subway station, making it convenient to get anywhere. The room facilities are a bit dated, which is understandable given how long the hotel has been open, but everything is very clean. I was particularly impressed with the housekeeping; the room was thoroughly cleaned, and they even helped organize my personal clothes, folding and hanging them neatly. Many hotels don't offer this level of service anymore. The breakfast selection was extensive, and I especially appreciated the dedicated staff making fresh coffee, so I didn't have to do it myself. My only suggestion for improvement would be the room service delivery for takeaways. Both times I ordered, it took a very long time for them to be delivered to the room, and I ended up having to collect them myself from the lobby.

We stayed for four nights, and the room was clean with excellent service. The hotel's location is truly fantastic. It's also quite convenient for round trips to Hong Kong. Within a three to five-minute walk, you'll find Metro Lines 1 and 5. Downstairs, there's a 24-hour steamed rice noodle roll shop and a KFC. There's also Qilin Tower, a Cantonese restaurant popular with local aunties and uncles, along with many other delicious eateries. All in all, it was a great choice this time.
