I am traveling a lot around the globe and stay in 5* hotels.
There are plenty of high-end luxury hotels in the Futian area.
I am happy that I chose the Ritz-Carlton.
Not just that the location is ideal - from the moment I entered the property until I left I felt a true warm hospitality. Especially Miya (reception) went above and beyond to make the stay memorable - always with a warm smile, very responsive and kind - it almost felt like having a personal assistant. Also helpful was, that her English is very good.
Having a big outdoor pool is fantastic to have after a busy day, and for me it was also a perfect start into the day, after having a gorgeous breakfast (good choice also for Europeans). I appreciate the barista-coffee.
The room might not be the newest (Scandinavian-like) design. However, it was in an immaculate state, perfectly clean, spacious, with plenty of well-positioned international plugs (no adapter needed) and very comfortable. And most important to me: with a very quiet A/C.

The hotel is much older than Shanghai and more run down to be honest. But I knew I would have a good night sleep for just one night, I didn't care about the rest. As long I can rest well during my hectic business trip thru China.
Anyhow, it didn't disappoint and because it was close to other venues it was quite a centralized location within Shenzhen.

My story with The Langham began back in 2012 when our company celebrated Christmas in its gorgeous halls. I still remember that glamorous night.
This time, 13 years later, I decided to stay at the hotel for my birthday, and it was the best decision I could’ve made.
Firstly, I got a corner room, distant from the elevators, on an upper floor—everything I wished for. The room was unbelievably spacious, with a long corridor, and the bathroom was huge too.
I loved the furniture, decor, and style—it is so classy and elegant, exactly as it should be in a hotel with a long history.
With its old-money interior style, the room was equipped with up-to-date features such as a speaker with an inbuilt phone charger, a clock, an alarm, automatic curtains, an awesome smart TV, and a coffee maker.
I noticed no odors, although I had read many comments about them. The service was outstanding in every way!
The fantastic swimming pool had great facilities like a jacuzzi and bubble baths. The sauna was one of a kind, featuring a hot/wet steam room and a snail shower experience—definitely check it out!
The dining was incredible as well. I had afternoon tea in The Palm Court, accompanied by live piano music. I loved breakfast, which offered every meal you could imagine.
I especially enjoyed spending time at the Perch bar, where they provided a complimentary drink and served great food. The atmosphere felt like a gentlemen's club or a castle.
After 2.5 days at The Langham, I can confidently say there’s no need to choose from a long list of 5-star hotels; this one meets every kind of customer's expectations!

I always booked the club room since the general service is not so good, this time they tried to offer me a room which is cheaper than the room I originally paid, I went back to the Conceriege and Toby there sorted it out immediately and brought a bell boy to move our bags to the right room. I do think it’s necessary to book the room with the club service since the general service is not so good and you do need that extra help. Via and Nico have always been helpful there and the girls had a good time. The breakfast buffet was a good selection or it’s always easy to get a taxi to dine outside. I've stayed here before, mostly when it was owned by two other establishments. Staff is alw professional, service is alw 5 star. The menu is much better than it was last year, with diverse Chinese and western options; but not cheap.
This time, upgraded to a 2 bedroom. The master suite has a tub, the other bath has a shower. Lovely. But there are a few things that were not supreme. The actual address goes to the residential side, not the short term rental side. The living room wall was not clean, there was trash in the trash cans. No slippers, but still robes.
I like the area and the people so I will still stay here again. Honestly, if I had let them know about the not supreme issues; I feel confident that they would have fixed it. But I was too tired and that is someone else's job.FromVND 2,197,479
