I have stayed here multiple times, and once again, I truly appreciate Jossce's thoughtful service and arrangements! During my stay, Jossce proactively arranged an upgrade for my room, making my accommodation even more comfortable. Her considerate late checkout arrangement also made my itinerary more relaxed. Her warmth and professionalism are truly commendable, as she ensures everything is prearranged. The hotel is conveniently located with a clean, quiet environment and excellent value for money. I will definitely choose this place again and highly recommend it to others!

The hotel's service is truly exceptional. The front desk staff are warm and professional, and check-in was handled very efficiently. Special thanks to Joy, Gina, and Collin for their incredibly thoughtful service. Room service was incredibly responsive, and all our requests were met promptly, making us feel truly at home. The facilities are first-class. The rooms are spacious and bright, with incredibly comfortable bedding. The fitness center boasts state-of-the-art equipment, and the pool water is crystal clear, perfect for both leisure and relaxation. The hotel also features multiple meeting rooms, making it well-equipped for business needs. The overall ambiance is elegant and sophisticated. The lobby features a distinctly modern design, while the guest rooms offer expansive views and a tranquil atmosphere. The location is conveniently accessible, with a wide array of shopping and dining options nearby. The cleanliness is impeccable. Rooms are spotless and dust-free, sheets and towels are spotlessly clean, and public areas are thoroughly disinfected, ensuring a truly worry-free stay.

The location is extremely convenient. The service is very good and the price with the overall service is reasonable. This is a very good experience to stay in this hotel - Futin Sheraton. Indeed I come to celebrate the birthday with my daughter and bring with my 90 years old mother together with my nieces who are come to visit my mother from Canada & UK. We all want to have a good trip to enjoy together. It’s lucky that we picked the right hotel. The staff Paisley & the front front whose surname is Ye are so kind. They know I was going with my mother who is on wheel chair. They had upgraded me to suite with my platinum membership. The suite is so big that my mother can have sufficient space with her wheelchair in the room. And the toilet is just fit my mother which she can manage to go to the toilet by herself. The service & the food from the lounge is good. I don’t expect there 雞蛋仔 and freshly made French toast in the breakfast. The only issue is that the direct access from the metro station to the hotel is not fit for people on wheelchair. Lucky that the weather is good on our check in day. So we can let mother to enjoy the sunlight from the station exit which is opposite to the hotel. Indeed we this good experience, even though the hotel is a bit old fashion not fit my style, I already decide to come again in end October to celebrate my mother’s 90 birthday and told the front desk hope to upgrade us to the same room type so that my mother can feel relax and enjoy.

Thanks Loyalty Manager Victoria for her warm greetings and gifts to my girls, also the staff we met were very polite. The location and facilities are two key advantages they have, and you may see the view of the Hong Kong back yard. The dinner buffet and breakfast buffet could satisfy most people, but my suggestion is providing dunkel or stout, because I like them. I hope the management could renovation the rooms or spend more effort to keep the rooms being with good condition.

From the moment of arrival until my departure, every single detail left me feeling overwhelmed by their genuine thoughtfulness and warmth. Upon check-in, the hotel's meticulously prepared, warm decorations instantly set the perfect birthday mood. Later, when friends made an impromptu visit, the hotel even extended a complimentary gesture – an unexpected surprise that truly exceeded all expectations. This birthday was made exceptionally memorable by The Ritz-Carlton, Shenzhen Galaxy. The hotel lobby wasn't massive, but despite its size, the luggage service was excellent. Staff greeted me warmly and efficiently helped carry my bags to the room. The front desk staff were also fantastic; they were incredibly thoughtful, noticing I had a baby and proactively offering a crib. They also assigned me a non-smoking room conveniently located near the elevator. The room itself was very comfortable. My only minor suggestion is that the carpet seems a bit worn and could use an update, but otherwise, everything else was great. To top it all off, they even surprised me with a complimentary glass of freshly squeezed lemonade, which was absolutely delicious!

The hotel itself has insufficient parking. As a chain brand, they should really plan ahead for any conferences or events, always prioritizing guests. It's simply unacceptable for hotel guests to have to park off-site and pay out of pocket. The hotel manager eventually helped resolve the issue after some back-and-forth, but with such limited parking by design, the management really should have proactive contingency plans in place when events are being held. This is quite surprising for a chain brand. Moving on to their 'family-friendly' facilities, they simply aren't. The 'kids' play area' shown in the picture is the most dismal I've ever encountered. Honestly, it would be better if they just didn't advertise having one at all. They really shouldn't be targeting the family market, as the hotel's facilities and amenities simply don't meet the requirements. For families like ours, who frequently stay at various family-friendly hotels, the difference is stark. My advice would be for them to just abandon the 'family hotel' concept entirely. Regarding the family room, both the website and my booking confirmation stated there would be toys. However, upon arrival, all we found were Paul Frank decorations. This is a clear case of misrepresentation. The specific theme isn't the point; the issue is that your website explicitly promised toys. After I complained, they did eventually switch us to a themed room that actually had toys. Overall, my impression is that this hotel, being close to the high-speed rail, is suitable for business travelers looking for a convenient place to rest. For a vacation, I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

A heartfelt thank you to my personal butler, Sharon. From check-in to every minor detail, her responses were incredibly prompt, and she was very attentive to our stay experience. The rest of the staff were also exceptionally friendly, making us feel incredibly welcome and at home 🫰. The hotel boasts excellent views, and its proximity to Chegongmiao Metro Station exit (less than a 5-minute walk) was a major plus! Blue taxis are always readily available right outside the entrance. Regarding the facilities: Being an older hotel (built in 2009), it understandably shows its age, but everything remains within acceptable standards. The shower temperature control could sometimes be inconsistent, fluctuating between too hot and too cold, which was a slight drawback 😥. Additionally, the room lighting was a bit dim, and the older television didn't support screen casting. Despite these minor points, my overall experience was excellent. A huge thank you to Sharon and all the staff at JW Hotel; your warmth and patience genuinely made me fall in love with this city ❤️.

Originally an older upscale hotel, the facade has been recently renovated, giving the entrance a modern and grand appearance. Pros: The hotel boasts an excellent location, just a 10-minute walk from Luohu Port. While the room's original furnishings have a classic, somewhat dated feel, it was spotlessly clean and offered good value for money, especially at less than 400 RMB on a Saturday. Minor drawbacks: 1. The hotel hallways have noticeably low ceilings. 2. Only 3 out of 5 elevators were operational. Major Drawbacks: 1. The banquet hall entrance was directly adjacent to my room. An event was held there in the afternoon, creating significant noise. What's more, guests could only access the banquet hall via the guest room corridor, leading to a constant stream of non-guests passing by my door. If this is the unavoidable route for banquet access, then a room in this location should absolutely not be designated as a guest room; it's only fit for a storage or linen room. 2. The air conditioning (AC) was practically useless. Even set to 18℃ with the fan on high, it only produced a very weak, slightly cool breeze. It struggled all night, only managing to cool the room to 27.5℃, resulting in an uncomfortably hot night. I checked in around noon and only returned to my room after 11:30 PM. With an early check-out the next morning for Hong Kong, I simply didn't have the energy or time to request a room change. I find it hard to believe that the previous guest wouldn't have reported this AC issue.

The biggest surprise at Kingkey Bay Hotel was the wide array of family-friendly activities. As soon as we arrived, we immediately joined two afternoon activities: handicrafts and cooking. The staff were excellent with the children. Another pleasant surprise was having access to the InterContinental Hotel's beach. Unlike the public beach next door, this section was much less crowded. The water was clear, the sand was soft, and listening to the rhythmic sound of the waves made for a truly wonderful experience. The hotel staff's service was impeccable and highly professional. To my surprise, they even gifted us a beautifully packaged box of mooncakes. On the downside, we had booked a room with a 2-meter king-size bed, but it turned out to be two single beds pushed together. The middle sagged significantly, and after just one night, my dad's back was in pain. I'd advise caution when booking a king-size room.

This was my fourth staycation at your hotel, and I consistently appreciate the Lanzhou hand-pulled noodles and Danish pastries at breakfast on the 2nd floor, as well as the warm scones during afternoon tea and the cocktails in the evening on the 22nd floor. Every staff member, including the housekeeping team, is exceptionally diligent and professional. However, my experience this week was quite disappointing due to the excessive crowds. The executive lounge, during both afternoon tea and happy hour, was overrun with children. They were extremely noisy with sharp, piercing voices, and the parents displayed a significant lack of supervision and consideration for other guests. Consequently, I had to leave the lounge prematurely. I hope my next visit can offer a more tranquil and pleasant experience.

The service was exceptional, and the staff's attitude was impeccable. Traveling with a baby, we had several special requests, all of which the hotel promptly accommodated and responded to. However, some of the facilities, perhaps owing to the hotel's age, were quite dated. The bathroom facilities, in particular, felt old and showed signs of leakage. A significant letdown was the hotel breakfast. The variety was underwhelming, and the taste was frankly subpar (not enjoyable). It didn't even measure up to breakfasts at many hotels priced under 1000. Overall, the exceptional service from the staff made the hotel feel worth the price, but the dated facilities and disappointing breakfast didn't quite justify the cost.

We picked this hotel specifically to visit Window of the World, and we were upgraded to a room that offered a perfect night view. The room was very spacious, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. It was so delightful to just lie on the lounge chair in the morning, sipping coffee and gazing out the window, completely lost in thought. While the interior decor felt a bit dated, it was still quite clean. Surprisingly, the TV even offered international channels, which was a pleasant blast from the past. It's been a great experience taking the kids here for a short trip, enjoying the swimming pool and the (small but good enough) beach. Check-in experience was fantastic, Dafne Lopez was a great host to us and the kids. It was a great start to our experience at this hotel. We had a nice chat with her and had a good understanding of the hotel facilities. Dafne was cheerful and professional in welcoming us. The room was not ready by 3pm at the check-in time, but we were able to leave our luggage in our room first and take the kids to play at the pool. Normally I would have thought this was unprofessional, but I guess the gentleman at the front desk had explained to me upfront and overall with Dafne and her team's bright attitude, the late readiness of the room didn't seem to bother me. :-) In terms of the hotel and the room, one can tell it's slightly worn out (echos with other reviews on the web), but the room is spacious, with a separate space for the luggage/walking closet, a nice balcony, the bathtub is also very big, my kids had great fun playing in the tub. We can't ask for more, the overall experience is really positive. The kids already look forward to coming back again.

While waiting in line for check-in, a staff member offered us drinks and small pastries. Since it was already past 4 PM and we were quite tired upon arrival, this gesture was very thoughtful. The seawater was indeed nice. From the balcony, you could see the free public park teeming with swimmers until very late at night. The waves were strong and quite high, and the kids had a blast. We even spotted small fish occasionally when diving underwater. The outdoor infinity pool was beautiful and very enjoyable to swim in. The indoor one, however, felt just so-so. The kids' play area was closed, so our main focus was playing in the ocean waves. The information mentioned that dinner reservations were required, but tables were only held until 6 PM. Six o'clock, however, is the perfect time to enjoy the evening and witness the most beautiful sunset. So, making a reservation felt rather pointless; you could just go directly. Also, the weekend meal supplement was a bit pricey: 428 for adults, and 249 for children between 1.2-1.4 meters tall. The dishes were quite plentiful, with the most expensive item, small lobsters, limited to half a lobster per person. It felt more like we were paying for the ambiance than just the food. Furthermore, the package included breakfast for two adults and one child, but the child had to be under 1.2 meters tall. I felt that children under 1.2m are typically offered breakfast for free anyway, so explicitly stating it was 'included for one child' felt a bit like feigned generosity. However, there was a special discount if you added breakfast at the front desk. Exiting the hotel lobby, if you turn right and walk up the road, you'll reach a seaside boardwalk where the water is even greener. It's about a 2km walk to Xiaomeisha, a nice option for those who enjoy strolling. The travel photography service, highly praised in many reviews, was indeed great at teaching us how to pose. However, the 'fine-tuned' editing seemed to be mostly one-click beautification and wasn't really necessary; I would have preferred just the original photos. Overall, if you're not particularly price-sensitive, you can definitely have a fantastic holiday experience here. A big thank you again for the room upgrade, which significantly enhanced our stay! 😄🥰

Good option near Dongmen. Only downside is that breakfast was not provided. They didn’t inform us while booking that KFC breakfast would be provided. Also, the room is smelly maybe due to bad air circulation.

Great location, right next to Nanshan, so perfect for a quick morning hike to start the day and also has sea world with plenty of food choice within walking distance and that's on top of the amazing service from Arina and Tina, who helped me with package deliveries before check-in and are probably the most friendly/helpful front desk personnel I have met to date.
