The front desk service was excellent; the staff, all dressed in suits and white shirts, were incredibly polite. Even the cleaning staff would politely greet you, which made for a very comfortable experience. The breakfast was also very generous. Laundry and drying facilities were always available without any wait, which was a nice touch. The building itself is grand, with high floors offering great views, especially pleasant at night. The soundproofing is excellent too; the heavy doors and soundproof strips mean you can't hear any noise from next door. They also provide a complimentary large fruit platter, a free minibar, and many free beverages. I particularly liked that the bed area, a more private space, isn't visible immediately upon entering the room – a very well-thought-out design. 👍👍👍 Hygiene: The cleanliness was exceptional. I checked several nooks and crannies, and there was no dust, which was very impressive. Environment: The environment was also fantastic. The hallways felt private and quiet. The high floor offered expansive views and good natural light, which was a big plus. Facilities: The lobby manager mentioned that the hotel was only renovated this year, and staying in a new hotel and new rooms was very comfortable. The overall quality is definitely top-notch. 👍👍👍

My stay at Ascott Raffles City Chongqing was fantastic. The hotel's location is superb, right in the heart of Raffles City commercial center, with endless shopping, dining, and entertainment options. Getting around was incredibly convenient. The room itself was exceptionally spacious and bright, offering breathtaking panoramic views of Chongqing from every window. It was fully equipped with amenities like a kitchen and laundry facilities, making for a very comfortable stay – perfect for families or business travelers. A special shout-out to the hotel staff for their warm and attentive service; they were always quick to assist with everything from check-in to daily needs, which was incredibly comforting. Both the facilities and service quality were truly impressive. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Chongqing.

The facilities are a bit old, but generally well-maintained. I stayed on the 26th floor and the room had a damp smell, which wasn't great. The windows felt like they weren't there at all; they provided no soundproofing. The showerhead was leaking and needs to be replaced. The elevators in the public areas felt like they had no AC, were very hot at noon, and were slow. Hygienics: Meets Hyatt standards. Environment: Meets Hyatt standards. Service: So-so. After 10 PM, there was no answer when calling room service. Location: Good, quiet yet central. There are many shopping areas nearby, making it very convenient for dining and shopping. Other: The executive lounge's food was average with no live cooking stations. The pool has a hot tub and dry sauna, but the water quality was mediocre. Overall, everything is quite old.

This is an old hotel, but it's very well-maintained, and the quality is still top-notch! I stayed here once about 10 years ago and hadn't been back since. This hotel used to be quite the place back then! I'm delighted to have had the chance to stay again. Both the facilities and service are excellent, and the location is super convenient. I'll definitely come back if I have the opportunity! Also, a big thank you to Luke Lee at the front desk for his very warm welcome during check-in!

The parking lot, mall, and office building are all together, which made it incredibly difficult to find. There were no signs or clear markers anywhere, and I got lost in the basement parking. I had to call a concierge to come and find me. Maybe it was because I checked in late, but the lobby had several areas that looked like they were under construction, very messy with ladders and such. The room itself was fine, but I couldn't find the switch for the bathroom light strip. For takeout, you have to go downstairs to pick it up yourself as there's no delivery service, which is very inconvenient. The staff seemed a bit perfunctory about it too. Breakfast selection was decent, but there was hardly any service. No one really paid attention to me, and I only realized you could order from a menu when I was almost done eating, as no one had told me before. Overall, the hotel's facilities are good, but the service is just average, though acceptable.

We were two adults and two children, in town for a concert. Now that the kids are older, a comfortable sleep is a priority, so I always look for hotels with two 1.8m beds. This often limits my choices, as most other hotels only offer 1.35m twin beds. I really appreciate that this place has two 1.8m beds. The location is excellent – a mere three to four-minute walk from Jiefangbei, and the nearest subway station, Jiaochangkou, is less than a 5-minute walk away. The snack street downstairs is also incredibly convenient. It's also very close to Shancheng 18 Steps, and you can take Line 2 directly to the Olympic Sports Center for concerts. Overall, we had a very satisfying stay. We did encounter a couple of minor issues during our stay – the shower head wouldn't switch and the internet wasn't connecting, but these were resolved very quickly. If we come back with the kids, I'd definitely choose this hotel again. The only downside is that there are many hotels in this building, so the elevators can take a while to arrive.

This stay was absolutely fantastic! The lady at the front desk was so welcoming and enthusiastic. I followed her recommendations for local eateries and they were all delicious, frequented by many locals – much more authentic than anything I could've found online. The room was huge, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering direct views of the Yangtze River and the bridge. The location is super convenient; there are several local noodle shops right downstairs, and it feels like an authentic old residential area, not overly commercialized. I hope this wonderful hotel continues to thrive!

They showed us different rooms, recommended tourist spots, and even helped us purchase boat tickets.

Had a wonderful stay here! The hotel receptionists were incredibly friendly and always greeted guests with warm smiles, which made the experience feel very welcoming from the moment I arrived. When I mentioned that my departure flight was at 6.30pm, they kindly offered me a complimentary late check-out until 5pm, which I truly appreciated. The location is excellent — right in 解放碑 and within walking distance to many famous attractions such as 洪崖洞, 十八梯, 戴家巷, 魁星楼, and 筷子楼(重庆美术馆). Since the hotel is located right inside the tourist area, there are plenty of food options and shops just outside the hotel. The hotel also helped me register as a 华住会 member, which included complimentary daily breakfast and fruit platter. Breakfast had a good variety and was enjoyable. One of the most impressive services was the laundry service — staff collected clothes directly from my room, washed them, and returned them after cleaning, which was very convenient. Upon checkout, I even received a small Chongqing souvenir gift set, which was a nice finishing touch. Overall, very comfortable and highly recommended!

I chose the wrong dates before my trip. I tried to cancel my order within ten minutes of submitting it, but it only showed as a failed cancellation the next day. After several attempts, the hotel still refused to cancel. After much hassle, I finally checked into the hotel. Spending nearly 10,000 on two rooms for two nights, I really didn't feel I received service commensurate with that price. The front desk staff seemed to look down on guests, and the room's cleanliness was terrible – corners were full of grime and standing water. The room facilities were very basic and small. The only advantages were the location and the view from the window. The welcome fruit consisted of just four oranges, which was a huge contrast to the thoughtful service I've received at hotels costing a hundred yuan. It took two calls to get someone to answer the service line in the room. They didn't have latex pillows, and even the memory foam pillows were all taken. For a five-star hotel, it really fell far short of expectations. The value for money was extremely poor, and I had to go all the way down to the LG floor to pick up takeout, requiring two elevator changes, which was incredibly inconvenient! Thinking about it now, it was just an awful experience.

I recently stayed at the incredibly popular Indison High-Altitude Resort Hotel in Chongqing, and I was absolutely blown away! The location is superb, right in the Jiefangbei business district. Raffles City is just downstairs, and the Yangtze River Cableway is a mere 5-minute walk away. The geographical location is simply unbeatable. The room features 270-degree panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows. You can lie in bed and witness the breathtaking confluence of the two rivers. The night view is even more spectacular – every casual photo looks like it's straight out of a magazine. I especially loved their infinity pool. Swimming on the 38th floor feels like you're floating in the clouds, and it's fantastic for photos. I recommend going at dusk to catch the sunset glow reflecting on the river, followed by the stunning night view – a double treat! 🌇

I've been to Chongqing many times, but this was my first stay at a Kempinski. I'd seen on Trip.com that the hotel opened in 2012, so I assumed the facilities and decor might be a bit outdated. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that despite being open for 14 years, this Kempinski is still exceptionally well-maintained. The original construction materials and furnishings were clearly high-quality, luxury items, so overall, aside from the slightly older design and decor style, everything else was unexpectedly good. This includes the dining options – whether it was Elements Western Restaurant, the Beer Bar, or the Executive Lounge, the food quality was impressive. The desserts and bread, in particular, truly showcased the essence of German culinary excellence. Of course, as a boutique hotel under the GHA DISCOVERY alliance, what truly impressed me most was the service. From the welcoming attitude of the staff to the efficiency of the management team in resolving issues, it truly lives up to Kempinski's reputation as a European hotel aristocrat. Special thanks to the hotel management and operations teams for their meticulous care and excellent service during my stay. Employees like Wilson, the Director of Rooms, Paul, the Guest Services Manager, and Lucy, the Executive Lounge intern, all deserve special recognition!

The highlight of my Chongqing trip was definitely this hotel, a solid five-star rating! I brought my daughter here, and she really wanted to see Changjiang International. So, I booked the Radisson Blu as it's the closest one. The service at this five-star hotel was exceptional. On check-in day, I mentioned to the front desk that my daughter wanted to see Changjiang International, and Xiao Li at the front desk upgraded us to a Changjiang International River View room. A huge thank you to Xiao Li for making my daughter's fan-girl trip even more special – she even managed to snap photos of the Teens in Times boys leaving work! Stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Chongqing and overall had a good experience. The biggest positive is the location. The hotel is within walking distance of Jiefangbei and Hongyadong, with easy access to the metro, making it very convenient for exploring the city. The views around the area are fantastic, especially at night. Check-in was straightforward and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and provided a good start to the day. The room was comfortable and generally met our expectations. However, on the morning of our tour, the sink pipe failed and leaked significantly, making the sink unusable when we were trying to get ready for an early departure. This was inconvenient as we could not properly use the sink for washing or brushing our teeth before leaving. To the hotel's credit, the issue was repaired while we were out later that day and did not affect the remainder of our stay. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for its excellent location and good value, but the maintenance issue prevents me from giving full marks.

Came to Chongqing for my kid's spring break, and the hotel's location is excellent – you can see Jiefangbei right from the main entrance. However, the hotel is quite old. The air conditioning units feel like they're from a renovation ten years ago. Because it was raining the day we arrived, the room also had a strong musty smell, and there was a bad odor from the bathroom drains. We arrived too late that day to switch rooms, but I did communicate the situation to the front desk when checking out. They responded very quickly, and their service attitude is definitely commendable. With the room rate approaching 900 near the May Day holiday, the value for money is questionable. I've stayed at many Hyatt hotels across the country, and this one doesn't stand out for its facilities.

A special shout-out to Jackie, who communicated with us in advance about our needs and made sure everything we requested was prepared. Xiao Tang was also wonderful; she reminded us that we could contact the hotel directly for anything we needed. Qi Feng, from the lobby security team, was exceptionally helpful. My mom had to leave a day early by herself, and he not only helped her with her luggage but also called a taxi for her. The swimming pool staff deserve huge praise too! My kids basically went swimming every day, and we adults didn't even need to supervise them.
