The hotel's location is simply unbeatable! Situated right in the city center, it offers incredibly convenient transportation with both subway and bus lines just steps away, making it effortless to get around. The surrounding area is bustling with commercial activity, featuring an abundance of shopping malls, restaurants, and entertainment options. It was super easy to explore night markets or grab a delicious meal in the evenings. Being so close to major attractions was a huge plus, saving me valuable travel time and allowing me to truly soak in my trip without feeling rushed. From my room, I enjoyed a breathtaking panoramic view of the city – the vibrant hustle and bustle during the day and the dazzling lights at night were truly captivating. This superb location not only made my travels incredibly convenient but also significantly elevated my entire stay. Honestly, staying here was an absolute delight!

This apartment is spacious with plenty of space and living equipment such as kitchenette. The doorman/ concierge at hotel entrance are super helpful and great. They aren’t afraid to be approached by guests for help. But this apartment needs some sprucing up. The tiles around bathtub has stains which they feel is ok to leave as is for guests to see and bathroom clearly needs a major wash for there is a bad urine smell. Front desk staff needs some customer service training. Eg The young man who check us out on 6 Jan around 11am. He just took card and that’s it, no niceties nothing. So much for Ascott Cares. Before you talk about caring for environment and diversity, take a GOOD look at the quality of service by staff and your rooms. Just go check the apartment on level 29 .

Chongqing's Top Accommodation Pick! This hotel is absolutely flawless. This is my nth time staying at this hotel, and every time I come to Chongqing, I don't hesitate to choose it. The experience is consistently excellent! The room is spacious and bright, with huge windows that let in abundant natural light, making it feel incredibly comfortable as soon as you step in. The cleanliness is beyond reproach; the bed linens, duvet covers, desks, and floors are all spotless, with great attention to detail. The service is a definite bonus. From check-in to responding to daily needs, everything is quick and thoughtful. The staff are exceptionally friendly and make you feel very welcome. The breakfast spread is incredibly rich and delicious; whether you prefer Chinese congee or Western pastries, you'll find something to your liking. Eating a good breakfast here gives you plenty of energy for a full day of exploring. Most importantly, the transportation is super convenient. It's easy to get to attractions and shopping districts, saving a lot of hassle on the road. I sincerely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chongqing. From the environment and service to the amenities, every aspect is impeccable. I will definitely choose it again next time!

Stayed here for three days with my kid. The front desk staff was great, especially one guy who upgraded us for free to a room with an amazing view. Downstairs, there's a delicious noodle shop called 'Pang Mei Xiao Mian'. The room had a bathtub with disposable liners, which my child loved. The water pressure for showers was excellent, and we pushed the twin beds together to make a big one, which was super comfy. We also took the kid to the Mixue flagship store, visited the Three Natural Bridges and Longshuixia Gap in Wulong (definitely worth seeing, remember knee pads!), and checked out all the popular spots in Chongqing. We had a fantastic time overall!

I absolutely love the style of this hotel! The moment you step into the lobby, it feels like you've entered a palace. My parents, especially, were full of praise as soon as they walked in, haha! Well, as long as you all like it, it means I didn't mess up this time [grinning face with smiling eyes]. The hotel's location is the best. When you come to Chongqing, you definitely want to experience its night view, and this hotel is right on the Yangtze River. You can enjoy the river scenery just by crossing the road. There's a street of lounge bars along the river with singers performing. It's so pleasant to order a few small dishes and have some drinks with family. It's also super convenient to take the cable car, go to Jiefangbei, and see Chaotianmen [strong arm emoji]. The hotel service is also great. I received a courtesy call a day in advance, and when we arrived, there was a gentleman who helped us with our luggage. The lady at the front desk was very enthusiastic. Seeing that we were a family with elderly and children, she proactively offered to help arrange our rooms together, and we were even able to check in at 1 PM. I heard this hotel is always busy. Although it has a slight vintage feel, for around 600 RMB, it's totally worth it to experience this European palace-style hotel.

Five-star recommendation! Niccolo Chongqing: Heartwarming Service, Perfect Experience. My trip to Chongqing included a stay at Niccolo, and it truly delivered on both luxury quality and attentive service. Definitely a perfect score! I especially want to commend ARM NCQ and Jasmine from Housekeeping. These two duty managers proactively offered us a fruit platter and even thoughtfully brought us some snacks! The restaurant team, particularly Manager Yuan, was the icing on the cake! Dining on the 62nd floor, he expertly recommended dishes that blended local flavors, adjusted them to our dietary preferences, and arranged a window seat for us to enjoy the sunset over the river. He even surprised us with complimentary champagne and juice! The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the IFS, and the sky lobby offers breathtaking night views. This experience truly impressed me with the staff's genuine sincerity. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Chongqing!

Staying at Indition in Chongqing absolutely maximized my travel happiness! The high-rise, city-center location truly won me over – it lives up to its reputation as a new must-visit网红 (internet-famous) spot. The location is unbelievably good ✨! I could walk to Hongyadong and Chaotianmen, and Raffles City was super convenient too. After exploring, I could just head straight back to the hotel to rest, without wasting any time commuting. It made experiencing Chongqing's 8D magic and local charm effortless. Opening the door, I was instantly speechless with amazement! The room was huge and incredibly comfortable, with a top-notch design. The main highlight was definitely the massive floor-to-ceiling window 🪟. In the morning, I woke up bathed in the first rays of sunlight, with the river shimmering golden. At night, I could lie in bed and watch the city lights twinkle, with the lights of Qiansimen Bridge reflecting on the river. The entire Chongqing night view became my private backdrop – every photo I took was a stunning, filter-free masterpiece! Overlooking the mountain city as day turns to night, and feeling the collision of history and modernity – this is truly the right way to experience Chongqing! The hotel's location is excellent, just across the bridge, making it very convenient to get to Yuzhong District and Jiangbei District. The management of this long-standing five-star hotel is still very much on point. Emily at the front desk, in particular, contacted me early and upgraded my room. Just like the vibrant red dress she was wearing, she made me feel very warm and welcome! The entire front desk team was amiable and outstanding. The hotel's standard short-course pool is very clean, and the water temperature is perfect; it's the best I've experienced in any Chongqing hotel. However, the issue of aging facilities still needs to be addressed by the owner through renovations and upgrades. It would truly do justice to the hotel's excellent management team. I believe that after the renovations and upgrades, the Kempinski will only get better and better.

I booked two nights and was upgraded to a river view room. Unfortunately, the view wasn't great due to the weather, though the visibility was excellent. The first night, I woke up to find I'd been bitten by something. I applied some medication, and it got better, so I didn't think much of it. The hotel opened quite a while ago, and the facilities are reasonably well-maintained, apart from some minor details that have accumulated over the years and haven't been properly addressed. The toothbrushes provided shed bristles, and the towels leave lint. Overall, the service was decent, except for a long wait during check-in. I later found out it was due to the front desk staff changing shifts for their meal break, which I understood. I requested paper cups, ice, and bottled water from the operator, and there was a slight delay in their response, but the housekeeping department eventually delivered them. I'm not sure what the advertised 'influencer hotspot day trip' was; I didn't get to experience it.

We can't thank enough our receptionists (all of them, both first and second shift), as they were super-helpful, and answered all of our questions. Restaurant staff was awesome as well, and food was delicious. Hotel is perfectly located for travelers, as major attractions are in a walking distance (Hongyadong cave, Chonqing Art museum, Liberation monument etc.). Hotel has a viewing platform located on the 15th floor, and even though it was foggy rainy evening, we made some nice photos there. The hotel facilities feel a bit dated, but overall it's decent. The family room is spacious enough for two or three suitcases to be spread out. It's within walking distance to Jiefangbei, Hongyadong, and Raffles City. Chaotianmen metro station is very close, and Xiaoshizi station isn't far either. However, the hotel shares a building with a clothing market, and there are many clothing markets in the vicinity, making the area a bit chaotic. **Service:** The service was great. The hotel's restaurant has a nice ambiance, and the guest rooms are clean and well-maintained with good soundproofing, ensuring a comfortable sleep. However, there are areas for improvement. As a high-end brand hotel, I suggest incorporating more smart technology, such as smart curtains and toilets. The mini-bar charges should be waived and offered as a complimentary guest amenity. The Nongfu Spring mineral water doesn't quite match the brand's premium image; Changbai Snow would be a more suitable choice.

Overall a great place. Beautiful rooms of the highest quality in every regard. The best features are the hot spring pools in the rooms of course. The showers are also great( two in every shower room) Great quality TV with great sound. Good selection of movies( not the latest releases) but all free. Food at the hotell restaurants had good standard. The best we have experienced in China. But for double the price we would pay for the same quality Chinese food in Norway. Surprisingly! But keep clear of the pizza. It is actually just a frozen pizza type. Very small. We didn’t order any more western dishes after that, except for the Cesar’s salad. Which was good. The place is old now and a bit worn. But it’s still is very very beautiful and high quality. Where this hotell really shines is the services of the staff. Even if they don’t speak English and we don’t speak Chinese they are very patient. To a Norwegian it is almost too much. They carry your bags even when thy are too heavie and many for one person. They drive you you to and from your room if you have a villa. We got an upgrade from ordinary room with hot spring pool and double bed to a villa! Because we found 6 small worms in the shower room. I think this is pretty hard to avoid in such a sub tropical and humid environment. But we reported it to the staff and they immediately gave us an upgrade with a complementary big fruit basket. We were blown away by this huge upgrade. Only thing that was a bit negative and unexpected is the extra deposit fee which is quite high. I think this should have been more clearly informed in the hotell booking and hotell online page. We were a bit low on funds as Banyan tree was our last hotell stay in China before leaving and we were on a planned but tight budget. We solved it of course with our Mastercard but it caused a bit stress for us. And a second thing is that using Alipay instead of WeChat is more difficult at the hotell. ( not impossible)But without Chinese phone number you can’t use WeChat.

Delivery drivers can only come up to the 15th-floor lobby, but what I didn't know is that the front desk can actually bring deliveries to your room! ☹️ It's also super close to the Guanyinqiao business district, which is incredibly convenient. ⏰: For those driving, please call the front desk 10 minutes before arriving at the hotel, otherwise you'll have to take a detour.

Chongqing was really fun, and the hotel was great too. On the second day, I swapped afternoon tea for two breakfasts. I couldn't get up to eat, but my boyfriend did and said it was very good. The only thing was that check-in at the front desk was a bit slow. I went to the viewing platform several times to see the night view, and they still hadn't finished checking me in. The bed in the room was quite large, and the bedside night light was a thoughtful touch – it automatically lit up when it sensed someone. The shower pressure was super strong, and the hot water came quickly. I stayed in room 1310, and it wasn't noisy at all, which was great. For hotpot, we tried Yuda Shi and it didn't disappoint. Dongzipao Jianghu Cuisine was also delicious, no regrets there. The only issue was that on the first night, we arrived too late and the lights at Hongyadong were already off. On the second day, we spontaneously joined a tour group by the road and went sightseeing. After riding the Yangtze River Cableway and having hotpot, Hongyadong closed again. It was so funny, we didn't get to see Hongyadong light up on either night, even though we stayed at the closest hotel. We also didn't get to try many snacks. I wouldn't recommend the 'qian xu gao' (thousand strand cake) – it was too sweet and sticky. And the highest 'Eye of the Clouds' observation deck? Don't bother. The tickets are expensive, and the night view from up there is just average. They even charge for the big photo they take – with such expensive tickets, the photo should be free! There were still many attractions we didn't get to visit this time. I definitely want to come back to Chongqing when I get another chance!

I was prepared for the hotel to be a bit old, but it exceeded my expectations! The front desk upgraded my room during check-in. I'm quite sensitive to smells, but the room was well-purified, and it was also very quiet. Much better than the Sheraton (also a Marriott property) I booked next door last year, and the room was still well-maintained and felt quite new. I was here for a concert, and the location was pretty convenient. To top it all off, I was pleasantly surprised to find I was staying at the same hotel as the artist – that definitely boosted my impression of the place!
