Five-star recommendation! The hotel's robot delivery service is novel and convenient, and the staff are always smiling, polite, and helpful. Facilities: Excellent, fully equipped for a hassle-free stay. All appliances are well-stocked. Hygiene: Clean and tidy. Environment: Great, with easy access to transport and convenient for getting around. Service: Warm and attentive, truly felt like a home away from home. The breakfast was also very generous with a wide variety of options. This hotel was definitely a highlight of my trip.

The location is excellent, making it very convenient for getting around! There are also many local snacks and delicious foods nearby! The front desk service is very thorough, and the greeters are warm and attentive! The breakfast area felt a bit chaotic, and the service was a little slow. There was some leftover bread, which seemed a waste. I wanted to pack it to go, but the restaurant manager had a very unpleasant attitude and expression. When staying at this kind of hotel, guests usually aren't looking to take a few pieces of bread home; it was simply a thought about my child not finishing it and not wanting it to go to waste. It really left a bad impression. The bathroom lacking an automatic toilet was a slight letdown, and some of the facilities felt a bit dated.

When it comes to serviced apartments, the well-established Ascott is still the most reliable choice. The decor and hardware facilities maintain the style from back in the day, catering to expat executives from foreign companies, especially the kitchen – I absolutely love it, even though I don't cook. I originally booked a luxurious hotel in Jiefangbei, but then I changed to this one to watch the drone show, and it was absolutely the right decision. Getting a taxi in Jiefangbei is just too difficult. This location is convenient for everything, perfect for traveling with seniors. You can walk to Hongyadong, and Chaotianmen Square is right downstairs. Taking a taxi to other attractions isn't far either. Ordering takeout to eat in the room is also great for seniors to rest.

My kids wanted to visit Guanyinqiao, so I picked the Hyatt, and it turned out to be in a fantastic location! It's just a few minutes' walk to the snack street, which had so many delicious food options. The weather in Chongqing right now is perfect, not too hot and not too cold, just like spring – so comfortable. I'll definitely be back during winter breaks and will stay at the Hyatt again. Their breakfast is excellent, and it's free for kids under 12, which is really family-friendly (hope this helps other families traveling with kids!). A special shout-out to Xiao Jiang from the Guest Services Center; she was incredibly understanding and always went above and beyond to help! Thumbs up! Moms, if you're bringing your kids to Guanyinqiao, I highly recommend the Hyatt.

I stayed at the Hilton in Chongqing for three nights and was satisfied with everything. It's very close to the subway station (Lianglukou) and Didi (ride-hailing) is also super convenient. There are plenty of food options nearby, including a Luckin Coffee right outside. The staff were amazing! Housekeeping Auntie Chen (I hope I got the name right) was incredibly thoughtful; she brought amenities for my child and even provided a bathtub liner and bath salts. Vickie and Jason at the front desk provided excellent service and even complimentary breakfast for one day. The concierge staff proactively helped me with my luggage both at check-in and check-out. It truly felt like a home away from home, especially for a mom traveling alone with a child! I recommend bringing a swimsuit. We forgot ours, otherwise, I definitely would have relaxed in the heated pool. I really enjoy swimming in winter.

The room was clean and tidy. Compared to the Intercontinental Hotel and Hilton Hotel I stayed at the past two days in Jiefangbei, I would highly recommend the Sheraton. Although some items in the room, even laundry, come with a charge, the hotel's overall public areas are truly outstanding. The in-room facilities are quite clean and well-maintained. What's particularly worth mentioning is the swimming pool and gym equipment, which are perfectly maintained and exceptionally clean, with clear markings for use. The pool water is incredibly clean and clear. Among the three five-star hotels I've stayed in, this one is definitely the best, and the views are fantastic too. Very good.

The room was pretty good, and the location was convenient. Bayi Delicious Street is right downstairs, and you can catch a taxi just 20 meters to the left. It's also very close to Jiefangbei. There's a washing machine, but only two washer-dryer combos, so it would be better if there were separate dryers. I left my charging cable in the room after checking out, and the staff proactively contacted me, which was great. However, they were way too persistent about getting a good review. I was catching a flight after checking out and still on my way, but they chased me three or four times in one afternoon. That was a bit much and makes me hesitant to stay here again. I really dislike being pressured to leave good reviews.

This hotel is simply stunning. The moment I opened the door, I was completely blown away by the view. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered a full river view. During the day, you can watch the river flow gently, bridges spanning the banks, and the city slowly unfold before your eyes. At night, as the lights come on and a gentle breeze drifts in, seeing the city lights across the river gradually illuminate brought such a peaceful and healing feeling. The room was clean and comfortable, the bedding was excellent for a restful sleep, and the location was convenient. Parking was easy with plenty of free spaces. Exploring nearby for food and sights was a breeze. This stay wasn't just about a hotel; it felt like owning a whole slice of Chongqing's gentle charm. Next time I'm in Chongqing, I'll definitely choose this place again. Highly recommend it to anyone who wants to truly experience the night views of the mountain city.

On another business trip to Chongqing, this was my second stay here, and it was just as clean and tidy as before, offering great value for money. It's perfect for business travelers or anyone visiting Jiefangbei, with easy access to taxis and a short walk to Jiefangbei itself. The room service was so thoughtful; they even folded my pajamas that I'd just left on the bed 😂. The soundproofing is a bit weak, but the hallway was pretty quiet, so it didn't really affect my rest.

The hotel is located right in Jiefangbei, and you can see the monument from your room. It's just a few minutes' walk to get there. The room itself is quite spacious with a good layout, and the two large beds are perfect for a family of three. The water pressure in the shower is strong, making for a refreshing wash. There's a good variety of breakfast options, with fresh noodles constantly being made. The front desk staff were enthusiastic in recommending sightseeing routes, and every day we received afternoon tea snacks and a welcome fruit platter. This was truly a wonderful stay.

Because of one hotel, I thought of one city, and because of the InterContinental Raffles City Chongqing, I chose to visit Chongqing again. The hotel's location is truly exceptional. Below it are Raffles City Mall and Chaotianmen subway station, and the famous Hongyadong, a popular spot for social media check-ins, is within walking distance, making sightseeing, shopping, and dining incredibly convenient. The sky lobby on the 42nd floor and the Crystal Skybridge offer first-class views, with the confluence of the Yangtze and Jialing rivers and the city skyline opposite all visible. The night views of both banks, especially, are dazzling and captivating, a stark contrast to the daytime scenery. Standing on the 250-meter-high sky observation deck, with its fully transparent glass floor, I was too scared to look down, my legs feeling a bit wobbly – it was both terrifying and exhilarating. Although there was a minor hiccup with a room change, the front desk manager quickly resolved it. The room was spacious and bright, with wooden furniture and a light blue carpet, making it very elegant. The room also came with a welcome fruit platter, sparkling water, and local snacks. They even placed a pot of phalaenopsis orchids as I had hoped; the orchids stood gracefully, their flowers seeming to dance like butterflies, bringing a fresh fragrance and vibrant life to the room. The guest services lady had a very gentle and polite voice, and housekeeping was incredibly responsive to every request. When she learned I needed to hang clothes, she thoughtfully provided a trolley, which was very considerate. What attracted me the most, of course, was the executive lounge. The food was unforgettable, every dish exquisite and delicious, clearly made with great care. The service was also attentive and warm, with dishes cleared quickly and staff constantly paying attention to guests' dining needs. During breakfast, to ensure I didn't miss out on any delicacies, the executive lounge attendant even helped me retrieve egg tarts and baked egg pancakes from the Chonglin restaurant across the way. Later, due to a flight delay, they even arranged a late check-out for us, truly understanding guests' difficulties. In summary, we were extremely satisfied with this stay and look forward to our next visit.

The hotel's cleanliness is also impeccable; both public areas and guest rooms are spotless, and items in the room are neatly arranged, ensuring a very comfortable stay. The floor-to-ceiling window in the room was an even bigger surprise; the view is incredible, allowing you to enjoy the scenery right from your room. A decent, established five-star hotel. The staff are highly professional and very welcoming. The food and executive lounge are both acceptable. The swimming pool is excellent, with great water quality and not too crowded. However, there's a design flaw in the hotel's air conditioning system. I initially stayed on the 30th floor and couldn't sleep due to the heat, even with the AC turned off. After moving to the 16th floor, it was much better, and they even upgraded me to a suite, which made adding an extra bed much more comfortable.

When I checked in, the person at the front desk was precisely the 'Xiao Shi Jie' (Sister Xiao Shi) who had called me earlier. This coincidence felt like meeting a relative in a foreign land. ✅ Price 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 ¥600+/night (during Chinese New Year) ✅ Transportation 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 About a 30-minute taxi ride from Chongqing North Station/Jiangbei Airport to the hotel; The hotel is a 5-minute walk to Linjiangmen Metro Station and a 15-minute walk to Xiaoshizi Metro Station. Most attractions are usually accessed from Xiaoshizi Metro Station. ✅ Shopping 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 One metro stop away is Raffles City Shopping Mall at Chaotianmen, with an observation deck on the 42nd/47th floor (requires a purchase or ticket). Being in one of the busiest tourist areas, all kinds of local specialties, snacks, and milk tea are available, though you'll likely face queues during peak season. ✅ Dining 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The hotel's breakfast is served in a noodle shop that's also open to the public. They offer local specialties like Chongqing noodles (Xiaomian), Wanza noodles, and Wonton. The taste is decent, and I personally found the Wanza noodles to be the best. The hotel also has its own tea house in the backyard, where guests can get 2 complimentary coffees or teas daily. The tea house also functions as a reading room, board game area, and internet lounge. 👍 There are many dining options around the hotel. I recommend the Banshan•Chuan restaurant directly opposite, which costs around 200 RMB per person. The food is very complex and full of Sichuan flavor! ✅ Service/Facilities 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The hotel service is very personalized. The front desk staff and the aunties at the noodle shop were all enthusiastic in trying to meet guests' needs (during our stay, we borrowed a microwave and asked for disposable cutlery, etc.). Thanks for the warm service during Chinese New Year~ The hotel also has a gym (see p6) and a laundry room (3 sets of wash/dry machines), all maintained cleanly and tidily. 🔇 The only downside was the heavy traffic during Chinese New Year, with drivers honking their horns incessantly, which the hotel windows couldn't block out at all 😂 Don't expect to fall asleep before midnight [sneer emoji]

When my child got sick during our stay, the staff were incredibly helpful, bringing us water and supplies multiple times. The next day, my child was still unwell and couldn't go out, so I asked the front desk if we could have a late check-out. For our Chinese New Year family trip to Chongqing, we stayed 2 nights at the Hyatt and 2 nights at the Westin. Both have their pros and cons, especially since there's a significant price difference, so it really depends on how you compare them. The biggest, absolute biggest advantage of the Grand Hyatt is its location. Step outside and you're right on the pedestrian street, a stone's throw from Jiefangbei, making it incredibly convenient to get anywhere in the vicinity. Another major plus is its direct connection to the Grand Metropolitan shopping mall. It’s essentially its own building, with no other hotels sharing the space. When we first arrived, the mall seemed a bit deserted with many stores closed, but we gradually discovered that all the restaurants were Michelin-starred, and there was even a cinema and arcade games. The executive room came with a Dyson hairdryer, which was a nice touch. The bakery on the first floor is also excellent. We didn't get to try the roast duck upstairs, as it apparently requires advance booking. The executive lounge offers a live noodle station in the evening, but the other dishes felt more like fillers. The welcome fruit, a dried local specialty called 'baba gan', was a thoughtful touch. The downsides are also quite apparent. Primarily, the breakfast was very mediocre. The room view was poor; I knew beforehand it was a city view, but it was almost non-existent. Furthermore, we encountered a few unpleasant incidents. We arrived at 12 PM to check in and were told the room wasn't ready and would be available around 2 PM, suggesting we go for lunch first. I asked if we could get a room with a better view, and they said they'd give us one on the 35th floor. After lunch, when we returned at 2 PM, we were informed the room still wasn't cleaned and they could only offer us one on the 32nd floor. Later, when we wanted an extra blanket, we called multiple times, but it never arrived. Out of frustration, we had to contact Trip.com for a blanket for the first time. Despite these minor inconveniences, I still recommend it. Even after staying at the Westin, I still felt the location here was undeniably superior. The conclusion is that if you can overlook the breakfast and the window view, this Hyatt is definitely a viable option, especially considering the more affordable price.

Overall a great place. Beautiful rooms of the highest quality in every regard. The best features are the hot spring pools in the rooms of course. The showers are also great( two in every shower room) Great quality TV with great sound. Good selection of movies( not the latest releases) but all free. Food at the hotell restaurants had good standard. The best we have experienced in China. But for double the price we would pay for the same quality Chinese food in Norway. Surprisingly! But keep clear of the pizza. It is actually just a frozen pizza type. Very small. We didn’t order any more western dishes after that, except for the Cesar’s salad. Which was good. The place is old now and a bit worn. But it’s still is very very beautiful and high quality. Where this hotell really shines is the services of the staff. Even if they don’t speak English and we don’t speak Chinese they are very patient. To a Norwegian it is almost too much. They carry your bags even when thy are too heavie and many for one person. They drive you you to and from your room if you have a villa. We got an upgrade from ordinary room with hot spring pool and double bed to a villa! Because we found 6 small worms in the shower room. I think this is pretty hard to avoid in such a sub tropical and humid environment. But we reported it to the staff and they immediately gave us an upgrade with a complementary big fruit basket. We were blown away by this huge upgrade. Only thing that was a bit negative and unexpected is the extra deposit fee which is quite high. I think this should have been more clearly informed in the hotell booking and hotell online page. We were a bit low on funds as Banyan tree was our last hotell stay in China before leaving and we were on a planned but tight budget. We solved it of course with our Mastercard but it caused a bit stress for us. And a second thing is that using Alipay instead of WeChat is more difficult at the hotell. ( not impossible)But without Chinese phone number you can’t use WeChat.

Overall it was a pleasant stay and the service was good. The staff were polite and helpful, and check-in/out was smooth. The location is also convenient for getting around. However, the room lighting was a bit dark, and the furniture feels slightly old, so the room didn’t feel as refreshed as expected. Still a comfortable stay overall, but I hope the hotel can improve the lighting and update some furnishings in the future.

The hotel is clean and the bed was comfortable. Wide spread of food for breakfast. The location is near GuanyinQiao pedestrian walkway. There are big shopping malls around guangyin qiao. The staff are very helpful and nice especially the male staff ( sorry forgot his name), he is very attentive, still remembered when we reached the hotel door steps, he quickly came down to help us carry our big luggagesup the stairs . Thanks .

I forgot to take pictures of the interior, but it really is as spacious as described in other reviews. The breakfast is also fantastic with a great variety of options. The room is very soundproof; I can only hear doors opening and closing if I'm right outside. Delivery drivers can only come up to the 15th-floor lobby, but what I didn't know is that the front desk can actually bring deliveries to your room! ☹️ It's also super close to the Guanyinqiao business district, which is incredibly convenient. ⏰: For those driving, please call the front desk 10 minutes before arriving at the hotel, otherwise you'll have to take a detour.

Chongqing was really fun, and the hotel was great too. On the second day, I swapped afternoon tea for two breakfasts. I couldn't get up to eat, but my boyfriend did and said it was very good. The only thing was that check-in at the front desk was a bit slow. I went to the viewing platform several times to see the night view, and they still hadn't finished checking me in. The bed in the room was quite large, and the bedside night light was a thoughtful touch – it automatically lit up when it sensed someone. The shower pressure was super strong, and the hot water came quickly. I stayed in room 1310, and it wasn't noisy at all, which was great. For hotpot, we tried Yuda Shi and it didn't disappoint. Dongzipao Jianghu Cuisine was also delicious, no regrets there. The only issue was that on the first night, we arrived too late and the lights at Hongyadong were already off. On the second day, we spontaneously joined a tour group by the road and went sightseeing. After riding the Yangtze River Cableway and having hotpot, Hongyadong closed again. It was so funny, we didn't get to see Hongyadong light up on either night, even though we stayed at the closest hotel. We also didn't get to try many snacks. I wouldn't recommend the 'qian xu gao' (thousand strand cake) – it was too sweet and sticky. And the highest 'Eye of the Clouds' observation deck? Don't bother. The tickets are expensive, and the night view from up there is just average. They even charge for the big photo they take – with such expensive tickets, the photo should be free! There were still many attractions we didn't get to visit this time. I definitely want to come back to Chongqing when I get another chance!
