"This hotel boasts a very convenient location right in the heart of downtown. It's just a few steps from the subway and within easy reach of major attractions like Times Square, Luohan Temple, and Hongyadong. The room was clean, comfortable, and luxurious, and the staff were extremely helpful and supportive. It's highly recommended for a short stay to explore the city center—perfect for relaxing while having all the sights within easy reach. "Very nice little room overlooking the river. Service was great. Always checking in if we needed a clean or supplies The pool was 75% the reason we booked this room and the main downfall of the room is it takes around 4 hours to fill just over halfway (pictured below). By this time it’s quite cold. As Chongqing’s main focal point is the night lights; by the time we got back to our room at night, it would be too late to even use the pool because of how long it takes to fill. It was such a buzz kill. Obviously it’d be hard to install a second tap on the furtherest edge, so maybe the room needs a bucket so you can fill it with hot shower water and tip it into the pool at the same time"

"Perfect location, right in the heart of Chongqing's downtown, at walkable distance of all main attractions. The hotel lobby is on the 31st floor, but our room was then located on the 33rd floor. Be aware that not all elevators take you to all floors and that it can be time consuming to go up and down. While we had booked a room with views, the views were practically from the bathroom's window. The size of the room was fine with a quite big and well equipped bathroom. The bed was very hard for our liking. The staff was friendly and kept our luggage for us upon check out until night time!"

"KANGKANG WAS THE BEST!!!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had a wonderful stay at ISEYA Hotel and couldn’t be more satisfied. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming, making me feel at home right away. The room was spotless, modern, and thoughtfully designed, with a very comfortable bed that ensured a great night’s sleep. I especially appreciated the calm and elegant atmosphere throughout the hotel, as well as the attention to detail in every aspect of the stay. The facilities were excellent, and the overall environment was quiet, relaxing, and well maintained. The location was also very convenient, making it easy to get around. Atour Hotel truly delivers a high-quality experience with outstanding service. "Had a wonderful stay at the Hotel with its exceptional location making every destination within 30 minutes or less than 30 yuan per didi ride. Rooms were well designed with most modern amenities but excluded any cutlery or crockery to complement their kitchenette with full fridge. Loved the automated bidet as well as washing/dryer provided. The city views are brilliant as well though they don't have views of hongyadong. Amenities wise gym was under maintenance but was not informed earlier on this inconvenience. There's a convenience store downstairs as well as numerous eateries nearby and within jiefangbei walking distance. Breakfast had a good spread however the food was mostly cold as if the warmers were not working. There's a mandatory 500 yuan deposit which will be refunded upon check out. Hotel was kind enough to upgrade me to a higher floor room and provide me with a late check out at 2pm on a complimentary basis."

"As a hotel enthusiast, I have to recommend this hidden gem I discovered! Aspera Sky Garden Hotel has completely redefined my perception of a city hotel. Let's start with the room: I initially booked a Cloud Mist Elegant King Room, which was already great, but I decided to upgrade to the Cloud Horizon Hot Spring King Room for an even more expansive view. The hot spring bath in the room was a highlight; soaking in it while enjoying the night view truly melted all my fatigue away. The real showstopper, however, was the afternoon tea! It felt absolutely dreamlike to be enjoying desserts in the clouds. The location is also fantastic, right downstairs from Jiefangbei. The service was attentive, the bedding was comfortable ensuring a good night's sleep, and even the toiletries were from a high-end brand. This kind of experience is truly worth investing in!"

"We booked a family room, and it was incredibly spacious with two king-sized beds (2 meters each). The layout was very well-designed, and having two bathrooms with separate wet and dry areas was a huge plus – everything was clean, hygienic, and comfortable. The housekeeping staff tidied our room daily, which was lovely to come back to after a long day out. The room even had both a projector and a TV, so family members could easily watch what they preferred. The window offered a fantastic view of the Raffles City and the confluence of the two rivers. Plus, the Chaotianmen subway station is right downstairs. It's a shame I didn't take any photos of the hotel room, so I've included some beautiful Chongqing scenery and delicious food instead!"

"I specifically wanted to commend this hotel; my stay was absolutely fantastic. The room's cleanliness was impeccable, every nook and cranny was spotless. The location is also excellent, making it convenient to get around whether by car or exploring the surroundings. "The hotel's environment and hygiene are excellent, and the bedding is comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The scenery is also beautiful, perfect for photos, and the room design is unique and impressive. The butler service was very warm; they personally escorted us and our luggage to the room and thoughtfully asked if we needed the air conditioning on – truly wonderful! The hotel also offers complimentary value-added services like laundry. We just had to hand our clothes to the mini-butler, and they were returned to us clean, without us having to go to the laundry room or operate the machines ourselves. It's fantastic! I knew I made the right choice!"

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, including convenient washing and drying amenities, which made our stay even more pleasant. The location is superb, which was very close to the metro and within easy reach of all the major tourist attractions. The biggest highlight of our stay was the excellent service from the staff. They genuinely took great care of us, offering helpful recommendations and advice, and made us feel very comfortable and welcomed throughout our stay. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would definitely come back again.

QQingjiaowoqingfenggegeI was in town for a business trip and decided to try this hotel. From the moment I checked in, the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, which left a great impression. The accommodations were also excellent. Crucially, I had a great night's sleep (the first night was a bit noisy, but I realized after waking up that I hadn't closed the window; once shut, it was perfectly quiet). I will definitely continue to choose this hotel for my monthly business trips.

My accommodation experience for this trip was absolutely fantastic, so I definitely have to give this hotel a five-star review! The location is a huge plus – it's just a few minutes' walk to the commercial area and all the sights. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and finding food. When it was raining outside, the hotel even had umbrellas available for guests to borrow, which was a really nice touch. Overall, everything was excellent.

GGuest UserBeautiful property with Michelin quality. Love Sunyata Ren-ai’s modern architecture and interior designed around its history. The rooms are thoughtfully appointed yet highly functional - a rarity for heritage hotels. For instance, the standalone mid-century wood wardrobe reminds you of what a priest would have in his room yet it opens up with plenty of storage and is lit internally. There are no awkward corners on the property, and space is strategically used and designed with a gorgeous mix of textures and colours.  Extremely hospitable service - hotel staff are wonderfully helpful and reach out ahead of your stay to follow up on details. That was how they found out my luggage had burst from a faulty zip and way too many books - immediately arranged for additional person to be on standby with a box for the books. During the stay, they worried about whether i needed extra binding for the luggage and then also had 3 colleagues on standby on checkout to help me bring my stuff out (xiaofan, ningning and xiaogan) who waited by the street with me to see me off. Honestly they were more worried than i was! And this is the pinnacle of hospitality where hotel takes greater ownership on addressing and pre-empting your concerns.  Room inclusions are great:  1. Breakfast is set in a beautiful restaurant in a stone basement. Selection is small but competently executed. The noodles are perfectly seasoned, fruits are fresh, coffee strong. 2. Afternoon tea - i had thought they would casually bring out the usual scones and sandwiches the kitchen was going to make on the fly, but it came instead with a choice of coffee and their desserts on display for sale. This means you get an intricate dessert - for free! 3. Supper - given my work and flight itinerary, i ordered in their complimentary supper, delivered at 9pm. again, not a matter of leftovers. They brought in beautifully plated 4 dishes for both nights, balanced in terms of staples, taste, texture, which is sufficient to satiate you without overfilling you for the night’s rest. 4. Photography - we all know the prowess of Chinese photography. i was apprehensive as i’m usually behind the camera and i wasn’t dressed for the occasion nor had professional makeup - the 3 weeks of non-stop work commitments showed! However, the energy and kindness of the photographers made the session really enjoyable, and not to mention the hotel provided an unmatched background for phototaking. They also edited the photos within an hour for you to choose from - you get the first 5 free, but you’d be tempted (AND PLS DO) to choose more. In terms of location, this is a destination hotel, blending beautifully in Mountain City Alley, with all the modern creature comforts. You wake up in the morning to empty walkways, interrupted only by birds and curious cats. The street livens up to little shops selling trinkets, vintage pieces, coffee (many of them), clothes and snacks. In the evenings, the light warms to an orange hue and you watch the sunset over the city in the quiet of your room. Mountain City Alley is not (yet)as commercialised as other ancient towns (each selling the same suite of souvenirs and mala soup base) and each shop had its own personality. Hotel is perched near the peak of the mountain city alley. if travelling by car, you’d need to drop off at Jiashi Old Folks’ Home and take the stairs (5min) down to the hotel which has a discreet corridor next to the church. Hence those with mobility issues - consider yourself warned.  Sunyata is one brand to watch and I’ll be back!

It has this wonderful and beautiful rotating bar at the highest level, and welcome drinks are served there. We needed this room outside of its usual operating hour due to our red eye flight, and Lan Jian at the front reception desk was the most helpful and gave us the most wonderful assistance we needed. Thanks a million to him. Moxy hotel is very lucky to have him. Will recommend this hotel to our friends and family 👍👍

SShironamiThanks for the wonderful five-day stay! I had such a comfortable and restful time. Every evening, the hotel would bring us various traditional sweet soups they brewed themselves, which was a lovely touch. Getting around was super convenient too; we just called for the shuttle service and they responded very quickly. I also tried the singing bowl healing session, which was a truly relaxing and peaceful experience. I loved waking up each morning, drawing the curtains, and being greeted by the healing view of the mountains and wild nature. The third floor was relatively quiet, and we weren't disturbed by people soaking in the wild springs by the river, so privacy was well-protected. Booking the complimentary travel photography service was quick and easy as well, and some of the fixed shooting spots produced really great photos.

The room comes with two bottles of water, standard. The front desk service was also great, offering two types of tea bags: green tea and black tea, which was a nice touch. Chongqing hotpot is seriously delicious 🤤. I've already recommended this place to my friends and will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Chongqing!

The room was more spacious than I expected, and the mattress was just right – not too soft, not too firm – allowing me to sleep soundly until I woke up naturally. My favorite part was the street view from the window; it wasn't spectacular but it was very quiet, with no traffic noise at night, which is a huge plus for a light sleeper like me. The location is indeed convenient, just a short walk to the subway station, and close to Hongyadong and Jiefangbei. There are also plenty of snack shops nearby, so getting late-night snacks doesn't require a long walk. The bathroom had excellent wet and dry separation, stable water pressure, and hot water came quickly. The mini-fridge and safe were practical details, making it suitable for business trips or tourism. Check-in at the front desk was efficient, and all the staff I encountered were very patient. Overall, it's a reliable choice that doesn't break the bank, and I'll most likely choose this place again next time I'm in Chongqing.
