SSudywoodyKaibu Courtyard is a little gem nestled in Nanping, South of Chong Qing, away from the hustle bustle of the mega city. In terms of location, it was perfect for me and my dad as it is in a residential area, short walking distance of convenience store, subway and plenty of local food nearby. The room was spacious. It's not really a room. It's more like a service apartment. Each unit comes with a living area, a spacious kitchen that is well equipped including a stove, fridge and a washing machine, and 2 bathrooms. They took detail into making sure everything is available, like detergent, noodles, eggs and everyday, a fruit basket. if now, one can usually ask and they will provide almost immediately. The living room also comes with a foot bath and a massage pad which is handy for my dad who is elderly. Overall, I am super happy picking a friendly, personal service hotel that offers lots of warm, while staying in a location that enable me to experience the local culture better. A big shout out to Ms Xia and the nice housekeeper. I fully recommend the hotel to anyone who comes in a group or for those who want to experience warm, or local culture and local experience.

GGLbaoAmazing experience at this high-rise hotel! It's located in the same building as the 'Eye of the Clouds' observation deck, so you're right at the heart of the scenic views as soon as you step out of the elevator. The panoramic views from the high floor are absolutely breathtaking; just open the curtains to an incredible city skyline, and the night view is especially soothing. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation with plenty of hot water – every detail was perfect. The front desk service was warm and efficient, making check-in super smooth. The location is also very convenient, with easy access to shopping and transportation downstairs. Excellent value for money, I'll definitely be back!

LLing^_^I brought my mom to Chongqing and chose a hotel in the bustling Jiefangbei area. Last time we stayed at the Glenview, and this time we're at the Marriott. Actually, their locations are pretty much the same, both excellent, and the prices are similar. The only difference is that the Marriott is an apartment-style hotel, so you can cook there! Overall, it's pretty good~

FfengboyjThis hotel boasts an unbeatable location right on Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street, offering breathtaking 270-degree river views from the room. It even comes with a bathtub and disposable bath liners. Shiba-ti is right in front of the building, and Hongyadong, Jiefangbei, Chaotianmen Pier, Raffles City, Arhat Temple, and Huguang Guild Hall are all within easy reach. There's a snack street downstairs, and the 'Ma Mei's Bench Noodles' right outside is open 24 hours, serving delicious and affordable vegetarian noodles. The hotel owner is incredibly welcoming. Best of all, the pick-up point for day trips to Wulong Karst Geological Park (Tiankeng Sanqiao) and Dazu Rock Carvings is conveniently located right in front of the Hankou Bank downstairs. With such fantastic amenities and an amazing price, the value for money here is outstanding. If I ever visit Chongqing again, I'd definitely choose this hotel!

GGuest UserThis apartment is spacious with plenty of space and living equipment such as kitchenette. The doorman/ concierge at hotel entrance are super helpful and great. They aren’t afraid to be approached by guests for help. But this apartment needs some sprucing up. The tiles around bathtub has stains which they feel is ok to leave as is for guests to see and bathroom clearly needs a major wash for there is a bad urine smell. Front desk staff needs some customer service training. Eg The young man who check us out on 6 Jan around 11am. He just took card and that’s it, no niceties nothing. So much for Ascott Cares. Before you talk about caring for environment and diversity, take a GOOD look at the quality of service by staff and your rooms. Just go check the apartment on level 29 .

GGuest UserThe hotel is unique boutique hotel on the 18th floor of a commercial bldg. The entrance and signage are obscure and not available in English is the only downside.
The uniqueness of the hotel is the receptionists, they are all very helpfully, polite, and impeccable customer services eventhough they don't speak good English. We used translation apps. They even go out of their way to help book a Didi car and go down to the street to show us the pick up point. This alone us enough for me to comeback not mentioning the room comfort and amenities. You can relax and have a quiet time.

The hotel boasts convenient transportation, perfectly avoiding the traffic restrictions of the bustling downtown area. The room itself is very spacious, and the washer/dryer combo along with the kitchen facilities are excellent. The breakfast is quite varied. I would definitely recommend this to friends.

The bed was very comfortable, the bedding was clean, the slippers were not disposable, they were disinfected and recycled, and I was worried about not being clean. It is not comfortable to live. Gas water heater, hot water is very convenient. The location is good, there is a restaurant at the door, small noodles, hot pot can be. Take two steps to Tongyuanmen.

GGenOhlsonThree stops away from the airport on line 3 (dark blue), this cute little apartment is suited perfectly for a day or two in the area. The building complex is conveniently situated right next to Huaxing subway stop, exit 1.
The building is called 'Huakai Youth City', but it's not a youth hostel specifically. It's a regular apartment building with families and people of all ages living there, so don't think you're screened off staying there on account of age.
The apartment itself is very clean with freshly laundered bedding and a small balcony that looks out onto the tree-lined street. A small kitchen has a couple of basics to supplement groceries bought. There is a supermarket directly under the apartment complex that could supplement any/all that you're missing. There are also a bunch of other amenities in the area including multiple pharmacies and a shopping mall.
The caretaker was very sweet and took a bunch of time out of his day to escort me personally down to the police station to register my passport in the area. Waited with me, accompanied me through the whole process and then took me all the way back. This would only apply if you're a foreigner.
The language barrier isn't an issue if you have a translation app set up or you could just add the person on Wechat and message translate.

YyyAOW11The apartment is well-equipped, clean, and tidy. The room is bright, and the bedding is spotless. One of the shower doors in the bathroom was missing, which caused water to splash out when showering, but the room itself was quite spacious.
They provide mineral water, an electric kettle, a hairdryer, slippers, and umbrellas are available for loan. The toilet paper and tissues were of good quality; however, the hand soap was poor.
The apartment is right next to Jiefangbei. Bayi Delicious Street is just outside, and the Linjiangmen subway entrance is downstairs to the right. There's also a big dining plaza nearby, perfect for food lovers. It's also very close to Shibati and Hongyadong.
The apartment's host was incredibly thoughtful, offering warm tips and recommending authentic local restaurants.
