Guest UserThis hotel is really great! It's right in the heart of the scenic area, super close to Jiefangbei, about a 5-minute walk away. It's incredibly convenient for shopping and sightseeing. The room has two bedrooms, which is perfect for families traveling together. The washing machine is a washer-dryer combo, and they even provide laundry pods. You can just toss your dirty clothes in after a day of exploring, and they'll be clean and dry, ready to wear – so hassle-free! The bedding is also very comfortable. They offer two types of pillows: a tall down pillow and a lower memory foam pillow, both very comfy. The bed itself is large and soft. I highly recommend it! If you have any questions while out and about, you can ask the concierge in the group chat – she's super helpful and always answers our questions promptly. Next time I visit Chongqing, I'll definitely stay here again.

Staying here felt like being welcomed into the home of a deeply cultured family. The décor is a beautiful, personal curation: art and personal book collection, vintage porcelain, silk cushions, and carefully chosen artworks.
Nothing feels excessive or staged. Every object has intention behind it — a celadon vase here, a bronze figurine there — and yet the overall feeling is one of warmth and ease, not a museum. The rooms are serene, the linens impeccable, and the little touches — embroidered pillow slips, a hand-painted watercolour above the bed — speak of a host who genuinely cares.
The lady boss is a gracious and soft spoken lady. She offers just the right amount of company and showed us the warmth of Gongtan residents through her actions and food.
This is not just a place to sleep. It is a place that stays with you.

Guest UserGreat location, dinner was good, but let down by malfunctioning hot water in the shower in 2 or the 3 rooms we booked. We had only ice cold water from the shower. Thankfully it was rectified. In one of our rooms (2005) the shower stall glass sliding door had come off the rails, and could East have fallen on guests, causing serious injury from the weight of the door and broken glass.
The check-in staff was very helpful, but the staff at breakfast on 6 Jan was quite unhelpful, and in fact started to argue about the prior breakfast arrangement our tour guide made with the hotel the previous day. Rather than saying she didn’t know and would check, she unilaterally decided the options were wanted (and had prepared the hotel for through our guide’s arrangements the previous day) were not available.

The room is very close to the subway station, right outside the exit. The room was exceptionally clean, and the bedding was spotless. The host was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, even when our train arrived very early in the morning. Nearby, there are traditional hot pot restaurants and various local snacks, all delicious and affordable. We truly experienced the warmth and hospitality of Chongqing people. I'd definitely stay here again if I get the chance to visit Chongqing.

Dr. OscarLongmen Pu Village: A Serene Escape into Chongqing's Mountain Charm
As an avid traveler, I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Longmen Pu Village, a remarkable resort nestled in the heart of Chongqing's stunning mountain landscape. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the seamless blend of modern comforts and the region's rich, traditional charm.
The resort's accommodations are a true delight – beautifully designed rooms that effortlessly combine sleek, contemporary aesthetics with the warmth and character of the local countryside. The attention to detail is truly impressive, creating a sense of tranquility and authenticity that is all too rare in today's hospitality landscape.
One of the standout features of my stay was the opportunity to explore the entire village on my last night. Navigating the winding paths felt like stepping into an adventure game, with new discoveries at every turn. The sense of wonder and excitement I felt was akin to being a child again, truly immersed in the magic of the mountain setting.
The service at Longmen Pu Village is equally impressive. Prior to my arrival, I had connected with the customer service team on WeChat, and they were well-prepared and attentive to my needs. Upon check-in, I was welcomed with delectable local Chongqing specialties, a delightful introduction to the culinary delights that awaited me.
The highlight of my stay, however, was the opportunity to enjoy the stunning sunsets from various vantage points around the resort, cigar in hand and fresh fruit nearby. These moments of peaceful contemplation, immersed in the beauty of the mountains, will be etched in my memory forever.
Beyond the breathtaking views, the resort also offered engaging activities that allowed me to fully immerse myself in the local culture. I had the privilege of learning the art of potting plants and marveling at the impressive bonsai tree collection, a true treat for a plant enthusiast like myself. The calligraphy session at the on-site tea house was also a wonderful experience, providing a moment of tranquil meditation amidst the adventure.
While I would recommend Longmen Pu Village to any traveler seeking a unique and authentic escape, I would advise international guests to have a basic understanding of the Chinese language or be prepared to utilize translation apps. This slight challenge, however, is well worth the reward of experiencing this remarkable resort.
In conclusion, Longmen Pu Village is a true gem, a resort that has masterfully preserved the local charm and flavor of Chongqing's stunning mountain region. Whether you're seeking a serene retreat or an immersive cultural experience, this resort delivers an unforgettable journey that I wholeheartedly recommend.

This hotel is nestled in the heart of Xiahaoli, a beautifully renovated century-old Western-style building. During the jacaranda season, I silently wished on my way there, and incredibly, I was assigned a room with views of both the blooming flowers and the river! It perfectly captured the民國 (Republic of China) era aesthetic I love. The staff were also incredibly friendly, and they even have adorable pets named Laikai and Caicai. The afternoon tea pastries and sparkling juice were absolutely fantastic.
On one side, you have the high-rise river views, and on the other, the stilt houses nestled under hundred-year-old banyan trees – a seamless blend of old and new. This is Xiahaoli. There are also some charming independent shops here; I even picked up a tea set and some delicious local food.

-qianqian-Choosing the right accommodation in Chongqing was a game-changer! Being able to walk everywhere from Jiefangbei was incredibly convenient 😭
Every time I visit Chongqing, finding a place to stay is always a headache. Either the location is off, it's too noisy and crowded, or the rooms are old-fashioned. This time, staying at Nastin really hit the spot! Both the location and the experience were top-notch. It's truly perfect for a trip to Chongqing, a getaway with friends, or a romantic stay for couples! 👍
📍The location is absolutely fantastic!
Right in the heart of Jiefangbei, Yuzhong District, on Minzu Road!
It's a 1-minute walk directly to Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street.
3 minutes to Linjiangmen subway station.
Downstairs is the Bayi Food Street 🥘, so you don't have to go far for delicious food and shopping! 👏
The most hassle-free part!
Hongyadong, Qiansimen Bridge, Yangtze River Cableway, Raffles City – all are just a 5-8 minute walk away!! ✌️
After enjoying the night view of Hongyadong, I could just walk back to the hotel.
No waiting in line for taxis, no getting stuck in traffic – that alone was incredibly relieving!
Direct subway access to major attractions like Liziba and Ciqikou, making the entire trip stress-free. 💯
🏍️It was my first time staying in a motorcycle-themed hotel! So unique!
It completely stands out from the cookie-cutter hotels in Jiefangbei!
The lobby has a cyberpunk dark motorcycle aesthetic.
The neon lights and lines are super cool, and there's an eye-catching Ducati motorcycle installation.
You don't even need to leave; you can take great photos right in the lobby.
The atmosphere for photos is totally maximized – it's niche yet high-end! 📷
🛏️So many room types! Suitable for every kind of trip.
The room selection is really thoughtful, not just generic or perfunctory.
✔For couples: I highly recommend the scenic bathtub room.
Floor-to-ceiling windows offer panoramic views of Jiefangbei's city nightscape.
An independent large bathtub, soaking in it at night while enjoying the view is incredibly romantic.
Smart voice control for the entire room – lights, curtains, air conditioning, all with a command.
Smart toilet, an extra-large vanity mirror, and plush bedding – the details are well-executed. 👍
✔For friends: A spacious and clean twin room for闺蜜.
✔For families: Dedicated parent-child themed rooms that kids absolutely adore.
The rooms are overall very new, and the cleanliness is meticulously maintained.
It feels fresh and comfortable to stay in, without the oppressive feeling of an old hotel.
✨The check-in service was incredibly attentive! Full marks for hospitality.
Check-in was quick and efficient.
Robots delivered food and items to the room throughout my stay.
They also provided complimentary welcome drinks and snacks – a warm touch.
Free luggage storage is available, and the front desk patiently provided tips for attractions and food spots.
For those on a multi-day trip, no need to worry! There's a self-service laundry room.
You can wash clothes anytime, making long-term stays super convenient 😭
I genuinely believe this is one of the best value-for-money and experiential hotels in Jiefangbei!
Unbeatable location, high aesthetic appeal, and comfortable to stay in. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Chongqing! ❤️

🏮Located inside a renovated church down a long winding stair alley, this hotel was the definition of a hidden gem. If you didn’t know it existed, you definitely wouldn’t know it was there. The rooms were extremely spacious, with high ceilings, beautifully considered decor, and refined aesthetics. I’d say the rooms were way better than the pictures. ⛪️✨
📸 The hotel offers a free travel photography service. You can have your hair/makeup/outfit done professionally for an additional charge but we wore our own stuff. Zihao (子豪) came to take photos of us on our second day and they turned out absolutely stunning!! The entire process took about an hour and he was incredibly professional, kind, and funny; and took the time to work with us through the language barrier using a translator app on his phone. You get a certain number of free photos, but we ended up buying almost the entire photo set with minimal editing from him because they turned out so good. It was one of the highlights of our entire trip. I will treasure the photos he took of my mom forever.
🍴 Breakfast is included and there’s a full service bar for guests where you can get free soft drinks and freshly cut fruit throughout the day. The hotel will also deliver a soup to your room in the evening (called night service? I think?) and it was really delicious. I have no photos of that because we ate it too fast. 😋
🧳 📝 The entrance of the hotel is a bit of a far- the nearest car drop-off point is Lingshi Alley No.8, Yuzhong Chongqing, and from there, you have to walk 3-4 flights of stairs down an alley to get to the entrance of the church. The hotel will message you ahead to help you with your luggage (and they’re extremely nice! Two of the staff helped us get our suitcases to our car at 5am when we had to leave very early 😵💫) but if you have any accessibility needs or difficulties walking up and down stairs, or just have a ton of luggage, this might not be the hotel for you 🚙😥
🌸 Overall, stunning hotel & amazing staff who you can message anytime on WeChat if you need anything. It feels like quiet escape in the middle of a super bustling crazy city. I would come back 100% if I was in Chongqing again. Thank you for everything!

Pros: The breathtaking views of Jinyun Mountain and the Jialing River are truly exceptional from this location. The hot spring facilities are also impressive, with a good variety of pools and a cleverly designed, intricate layout.
Cons: The hotel's hardware facilities are quite outdated. For this price point, the hotel could definitely learn from the operational standards of top-tier brands. Furthermore, the breakfast selection is limited, and the toiletries in the room are of poor quality – these are areas with significant room for improvement. Large sections of wooden panels in the public areas are discolored or in disrepair.
Overall: If you're looking for value for money, you might want to reconsider. However, if budget isn't an issue and you prioritize experiencing the beautiful scenery and hot springs, it's definitely worth a visit. Finally, the complimentary travel photoshoot provided by the hotel was a nice touch, and I'd like to commend the photographer, Zixuan, for her excellent service.

TajiaowenThe hotel room is nice, the toilet is super big, the staff is very enthusiastic, the heating in the room is a little poor, the air conditioner is a little loud, but the heating is not very sufficient, but there is an electric blanket, so it won't be cold when sleeping. The balcony looks out to the vast snow, beautiful
