Perfect
GGuest UserExcellent stay, right in Xiahao Old Street, which is super convenient. Not too many stairs, perfect for younger people going up and down, and the scenery is beautiful. Xiaobazi Coffee and Wukong Bar are right next door (the bar's night view is definitely worth seeing). The room was very clean and spacious, with well-designed natural light and indoor lighting that was very gentle. The only minor downsides might be that the bathroom lighting was a bit dim, and it would have been perfect if there was double-pane glass for soundproofing, as you can still hear outside noises since it's in a scenic area. Everything else was great, and I hope to try a higher-floor room next time.

Excellent
GGuest UserThe environment is clean, tidy and beautiful, with a view at every step. It is a very distinctive homestay that is carefully built. The housekeeper has a good service attitude. He contacted me in advance before I checked in, and all the requests were met wholeheartedly. It was a great stay experience. Each room type has its own characteristics. I will try another room type if I have the chance.
PPipiyiMy stay at the Maiyue Hotel was absolutely fantastic, five stars, highly recommend! The lobby is clean and elegant, and the front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive. Check-in and check-out were efficient and quick, and they even offered thoughtful tips about local attractions and transportation. My room was spacious, tidy, and well-lit. The bedding was soft and comfortable, guaranteeing a perfect night's sleep. The soundproofing was excellent, offering a peaceful retreat despite being in a lively area. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and all the toiletries were provided. The cleanliness was impeccable, not a speck of dust even in the nooks and crannies. The hotel's location is superb, right next to a commercial district and a bus stop, making shopping, dining, and getting around incredibly convenient with all amenities nearby. Breakfast offered a rich variety of options, including hot dishes, pastries, and drinks – a nutritious and warming start to the day. There was nothing to fault throughout my stay; the service was attentive yet unobtrusive. The value for money far surpasses other hotels in the same category. It's perfect for both business trips and leisure travel. I'll definitely be returning on my next visit!

Excellent
GGuest UserWe stayed at InterContinental Raffles City Chongqing for 3 days and 2 nights as the final stop of our two-week family holiday in Sichuan, and overall, it was a memorable experience.
Upon arrival, the concierge team was efficient and helpful, taking care of our luggage and guiding us smoothly to the 42nd floor for check-in. The front desk staff were courteous and friendly, making the process pleasant. If there is a welcome drink for arriving guests would have been a nice touch—small gestures can go a long way in creating a warm first impression.
Our room (5901) was impeccably clean and offered stunning views of the city and rivers. However, we did not rest well due to the firmness of the bed and the dry room environment. I only raised this feedback during check-out and was informed that mattress padding and an in-room humidifier could have been arranged upon request. This was the first time we encountered such an issue during our entire Sichuan trip, so it caught us a little off guard—but it was a good reminder to reach out promptly for assistance.
Breakfast was a definite highlight of our stay. The spread offered a fantastic variety with delicious flavours, catering to both local and international preferences. The service crew were attentive and proactive, making the dining experience enjoyable and well-managed.
My children were slightly disappointed that the souvenir packs typically offered to young guests were out of stock, as they had received similar welcome gifts at other hotels during our trip.
The hotel’s location is truly outstanding. Situated within the iconic Raffles City Chongqing complex, it offers breathtaking views of the confluence of the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers. It is also very conveniently located—adjacent to Chaotianmen Square and within walking distance to Hongya Cave.
A special mention goes to the customer care team for preparing a birthday cake and greeting card for my daughter, who is turning nine. She was absolutely over the moon, and we truly appreciated the thoughtful gesture and attention to detail.
Overall, InterContinental Raffles City Chongqing is a well-located luxury hotel with excellent service standards, outstanding breakfast offerings, and thoughtful touches that made our family stay memorable.

MM645959****Our stay in Chongqing was absolutely perfect! I have to give this hotel a full five stars. 🌟🌟🌟
I highly recommend booking the 'Songyu King Room.' As soon as I walked in, I immediately extended my stay. 👍
✨ Highlights:
1️⃣ 180-degree unbeatable river view – You can take in the entire Jialing River from your room. At night, the neon lights are dazzling, and the mountain city's night view unfolds like an IMAX screen right before your eyes.
2️⃣ Amazing window-side bathtub experience – Soaking in the tub while overlooking the Jialing River makes for incredible photos.
3️⃣ Super spacious room with great design – A blend of modern Chinese style with elements of the mountain city, featuring smart home systems and smart toilets, all speaking to its quality.
4️⃣ Incredibly thoughtful service – When we checked in at 1 AM, the front desk attendant proactively upgraded our room, and messages were responded to within seconds, 24/7.
I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Chongqing! I've already recommended it to friends who are planning a trip. If I had to find a downside, it would probably be that it was so comfortable I didn't want to leave the hotel to sightsee for five consecutive nights in Chongqing. 😆

MM61772****This was an incredibly satisfying stay. The guesthouse itself is a protected historical building over a hundred years old, and every day many tourists come to the first floor and courtyard to snap pictures, which turn out beautifully. The bedding in the room was very comfortable. Breakfast is a set menu; the housekeeper has guests choose their options, then prepares everything fresh for the next morning – it's all very exquisite. The room's balcony is perfect for sitting, enjoying tea, and unwinding, or listening to the music from the bar across the street in the evenings. However, what truly made the stay memorable were the lovely, enthusiastic, and capable young woman at the guesthouse, the quiet but kind and warm-hearted owner, the barista who doesn't talk much but makes excellent coffee, and the two adorable cats – Lailai and Caicai! This guesthouse is genuinely highly recommended 👍

11388004****This hot spring hotel, nestled at the foot of Jinyun Mountain, is built harmoniously with the natural terrain. Pavilions and terraces are scattered tastefully amidst lush trees, creating a picturesque scene of mountains and water. The private hot spring in the room is clean and hygienic, and Owen provided very attentive service. My stay was excellent. I'll definitely come back again! The private hot spring in the room truly exceeded my expectations; the water was refreshed daily, making it very clean and private. The only area for improvement would be to address the traffic congestion for vehicles entering and exiting during peak hours.
11508255****The hotel is conveniently located right next to the subway, making transportation very easy. It's a small standalone building right by the road, and overall, it's really great. Everything is clean and hygienic, the traffic is very convenient, and the environment is very good. The location is excellent, you can take the subway to many popular attractions in Chongqing. The hotel also has a 24-hour free laundry room with both washing machines and dryers.

Good
GGuest UserOverall a great place. Beautiful rooms of the highest quality in every regard. The best features are the hot spring pools in the rooms of course. The showers are also great( two in every shower room) Great quality TV with great sound. Good selection of movies( not the latest releases) but all free. Food at the hotell restaurants had good standard. The best we have experienced in China. But for double the price we would pay for the same quality Chinese food in Norway. Surprisingly!
But keep clear of the pizza. It is actually just a frozen pizza type. Very small. We didn’t order any more western dishes after that, except for the Cesar’s salad. Which was good.
The place is old now and a bit worn. But it’s still is very very beautiful and high quality.
Where this hotell really shines is the services of the staff. Even if they don’t speak English and we don’t speak Chinese they are very patient.
To a Norwegian it is almost too much. They carry your bags even when thy are too heavie and many for one person.
They drive you you to and from your room if you have a villa.
We got an upgrade from ordinary room with hot spring pool and double bed to a villa! Because we found 6 small worms in the shower room.
I think this is pretty hard to avoid in such a sub tropical and humid environment.
But we reported it to the staff and they immediately gave us an upgrade with a complementary big fruit basket. We were blown away by this huge upgrade.
Only thing that was a bit negative and unexpected is the extra deposit fee which is quite high.
I think this should have been more clearly informed in the hotell booking and hotell online page.
We were a bit low on funds as Banyan tree was our last hotell stay in China before leaving and we were on a planned but tight budget.
We solved it of course with our Mastercard but it caused a bit stress for us.
And a second thing is that using Alipay instead of WeChat is more difficult at the hotell. ( not impossible)But without Chinese phone number you can’t use WeChat.
GGuest UserMy family and I were very satisfied with the rooms we booked. We thought it was very cost-effective and we had a lot of fun. The location was easy to find, parking was convenient, and the hotel was very welcoming. We were very satisfied.
