"We had a wonderful stay at Niccolo Chongqing and it was exactly the kind of comfortable and refined experience we needed during our trip through China. Our room was beautiful, extremely comfortable and had a spectacular view over Chongqing’s skyline. We particularly enjoyed being able to come back to such a peaceful and relaxing environment after exploring the city. The spa and sauna were also a great addition and made our stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was excellent, with a beautiful selection of both Chinese and international dishes. A special mention goes to Chef Francesco Sanna, who took the time to introduce and explain some of the wonderful dishes available at breakfast. We also really enjoyed our conversations with him – his warmth and enthusiasm made our mornings particularly memorable. We would also like to thank Jinx, who was incredibly helpful and responsive through WeChat throughout our stay. She assisted us with several different questions and arrangements and was always available, kind and efficient. Having someone we could easily contact made everything feel effortless. Overall, what stood out was not only the quality of the hotel, but the genuinely warm and attentive service. After travelling through several cities in China, Niccolo was one of the places where we felt most comfortable and well looked after. We would happily stay here again on a future visit to Chongqing and highly recommend it."

"I absolutely love the views from high-rise hotels! The pool is on the 55th floor, it's not too deep, so it's beginner-friendly, and the views are fantastic. The lobby on the first floor is beautiful, and the staff were incredibly warm and attentive. We were three families traveling together, and they kindly arranged for us to be on the same floor. Breakfast was also good, with a nice variety of desserts and pastries. Overall excellent, highly recommend staying here!"

"Incredible hotel. A bit out of the way from central ChongQing but close to the Sunac mall and theme park which are great for kids. For us this was a weeklong reset/getaway while traveling chinese cities and for that it was perfect. The kids loved the theme park, mall and carnival and the room/house was more than big enough to be able to enjoy time ”at home” as well. Service was top notch, they brought our breakfast to the room when asked, filled the pool fresh whenever we asked, all around great (english-speaking) service. Would definitely visit again."

"Pros: The breathtaking views of Jinyun Mountain and the Jialing River are truly exceptional from this location. The hot spring facilities are also impressive, with a good variety of pools and a cleverly designed, intricate layout. Cons: The hotel's hardware facilities are quite outdated. For this price point, the hotel could definitely learn from the operational standards of top-tier brands. Furthermore, the breakfast selection is limited, and the toiletries in the room are of poor quality – these are areas with significant room for improvement. Large sections of wooden panels in the public areas are discolored or in disrepair. Overall: If you're looking for value for money, you might want to reconsider. However, if budget isn't an issue and you prioritize experiencing the beautiful scenery and hot springs, it's definitely worth a visit. Finally, the complimentary travel photoshoot provided by the hotel was a nice touch, and I'd like to commend the photographer, Zixuan, for her excellent service."

"Due to a typhoon, our original travel plans changed, and we spontaneously decided to visit Chongqing. I mainly chose this hotel because of its infinity pool. My actual stay was fantastic! The location is truly a major advantage, right in Jiefangbei. There are many small eateries downstairs, and it's within walking distance to shopping areas. It's also not far from Hongyadong by subway, making it very convenient to get around. The room was very clean and quiet at night, allowing us to rest well after a tiring day. The breakfast spread was also excellent. During some downtime, I spent a while on the 13th floor. The infinity pool and observation deck offer expansive views, and the city nightscape is stunning in the evening. I was pleasantly surprised by the 'goodnight milk' served in the evening – these small details really add to the experience. Every staff member here was very warm and welcoming, even greeting us in the hallways. The infinity pool has great views and a pleasant water temperature. The value for money is excellent, especially the hotel's cleanliness; both the bedding and bathrooms were impeccably maintained!"

"I accidentally picked a fantastic hotel for this stay! My room was on the top floor with expansive views and picturesque scenery. The hotel is located in the heart of Jiefangbei, a landmark building in Chongqing, directly opposite the famous 'Chopsticks Building.' It's also a short walk to Hongyadong, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. Downstairs is Linjiangmen Station on Metro Line 2, and you can take the subway directly to Liziba to experience the monorail going through buildings. The staff were warm and attentive, and they even gave me a cute little bear plushie when I checked in – a thoughtful touch. Overall, my stay was excellent, and the location is simply unbeatable."
