GGuest UserThe environment is clean, tidy and beautiful, with a view at every step. It is a very distinctive homestay that is carefully built. The housekeeper has a good service attitude. He contacted me in advance before I checked in, and all the requests were met wholeheartedly. It was a great stay experience. Each room type has its own characteristics. I will try another room type if I have the chance.

GGenOhlsonA cosy family-friendly enchanted hideaway in the mountains with the clouds. The whole place seems to have been a long-time passion in creating the most charming and comfortable inn from conception to realisation with both the exterior and interior decorated in either a rustic country cottage or a European apartment style from the last century. We were so happy here and my child especially appreciated the room and all of its surroundings.
Every nook and cranny of the place is excellently utiilised. From the dining room as well as the main outside eatery balcony, one has a beautiful view of the mountainside in all its greenery with butterflies flitting amongst flowers. Don't forget to check out the third story balconies and the library. Screen projector fittings are in place for a medium-sized conference. The place even has a couple of majiang table nooks should you want to play with friends.
The surrounding forest environment of the inn is all sorts of paths and green terraces going off in different directions. There is a playpark for children with its own pedal-powered mini-roller coaster and other items for children to climb on.
There is an off-site pond and ancient stone bridge nearby. One can take a short hike up the driveway and explore the diverging walking track paths. There's also an ecological technology exhibition centre not far up the road from the inn.
A large portion of the clientele when we were there were day trip visitors in family and friend groups. Big tables as well as KTV facilities could be booked for the day.
The food quality is fantastic and the portions generous. There are no nearby shops so all meals are taken in-house; the staff will consult you about when and what is on offer from the extensive menu. You can specify whether you'd want your food spicy or not when possible depending on the dish.
The genuinely friendly and accomodating staff take such good care of you and step in whenever they feel you may need some assistance. My child had a bad cough at the time, and they were so kind bringing her hot drinks with honey and offering medicine they happened to have there.
My Chinese is not good, but with a standard translation app, you're able to communicate what you need and the staff are so obliging to help. They genuinely do seem to be happy to be working there, and cudos and credit it to the owner for taking such good care of the staff that they in turn carry it over to their care for their guests. It was a pleasure to meet them and the owner.

MM61772****This was an incredibly satisfying stay. The guesthouse itself is a protected historical building over a hundred years old, and every day many tourists come to the first floor and courtyard to snap pictures, which turn out beautifully. The bedding in the room was very comfortable. Breakfast is a set menu; the housekeeper has guests choose their options, then prepares everything fresh for the next morning – it's all very exquisite. The room's balcony is perfect for sitting, enjoying tea, and unwinding, or listening to the music from the bar across the street in the evenings. However, what truly made the stay memorable were the lovely, enthusiastic, and capable young woman at the guesthouse, the quiet but kind and warm-hearted owner, the barista who doesn't talk much but makes excellent coffee, and the two adorable cats – Lailai and Caicai! This guesthouse is genuinely highly recommended 👍

MM362744****Stayed at a hotel I absolutely loved in Chongqing, it was so comfortable...
The entire ground floor is surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows, looking out onto lush greenery.
In the morning, I'd go downstairs for breakfast and watch the tree shadows dance on the table.
In the afternoon, I'd have tea by the window, with sunlight filtering through the gaps and landing on my book.
In the evening, I'd go back for a bath, then lie in bed and project a movie 🎬.
The service was attentive; there were welcome fruits prepared as soon as I entered, and when checking out, the butler even helped with my luggage 🧳 and saw us off to the car.
The hotel is right by the Yangtze River Cableway, and just outside are Xiahaoli Shangxin Street and Longmenhao Old Street. It's also very close to the Jiefangbei business district, super convenient!!

When the sunlight shines through the window, the whole person is healed~ The housekeeper is very considerate, answering all questions, very kind, and very enthusiastic. It feels like home. I added WeChat and will definitely stay here next time! By the way, the room is very cost-effective and the sanitary conditions are very good

TTaniaGThe location is very good, right next to Hongyadong area, with amazing views of the river. The decor is a bit strange and the lounge room is not really a comfortable place to relax. However the beds are fine and comfortable enough as we were out most of the day. The bathrooms are a little dated and one of them had a sewer like smell I guess coming from the drainage.

KKelvinBooked this hotel for the loft room type which has only 1 unit. Note that there are only 14 rooms across 2 floors located in a commercial building. Seems like it is very common in cq to have such hotels which are occupying floors in a building. The room has a great view of Jiefangbei and you can see the monument from the room. Pls note that the location of the room is just next to the entrance which i didn't like (personal preference) but it didn't affect me in terms of noise.
Smart system, tv projector
The room is using a smart system which you can control through voice. However this proved to be a problem for me instead as everytime I returned and put in the key card, the same settings operate e.g. music automatically plays and the announcement starts and I have to ask it to stop playing the music. The lighting is also preset with hindered the brightness of the projector. Note that there is no tv, only a projector with iqiyi inbuilt so there are no tv channels and most of the shows require a subscription to play. I wasn't able to adjust the lights according to what I want. So if I wanted a very clear resolution, I had to turn off all lights.
Bathroom
The toilet seat was automatic with bidet. As it is automated, you have to press a button to open the seat cover everytime you want to use. If you use the disposable seat cover, it cannot detect you and halfway using the toilet, the seat keeps coming down to close as it closes automatically. The position of the handheld shower is also very low. I'm 1.68m tall which was the perfect height but anyone taller will hit the shower. One very important point to note is also that the hotel only uses disposable towels to my dismay. They do not have regular towels. If I had known I wouldn't have booked this hotel. I'm not sure if this is a common thing in cq. There are also no hooks in the bathroom and the sink is outside the bathroom.
During my stay it rained a bit so the area just beside the bed had a pool of water which likely came from a leak in the building. For this room, the electronic curtains were also unable to cover the room totally due to the stairs going up to the bed.
Aircon
Due to the size of the room, I felt that the ac wasn't strong enough to cool the room totally.
In conclusion, the hotel has a great location and good service but if I had known the above, I would hv chosen another regular hotel with tv, regular towels etc. I wanted to check out after 1 night but didn't as it was just simply too troublesome and my booking was non refundable.

MM348244****Traveling during off-peak season was such a great deal! We got a three-bedroom apartment, super spacious. It could easily fit six people, but there were only three of us, so we each had our own room and complete privacy. The rooms are smart, automatically cutting power when you leave. The location is right in the bustling city center; you step out and you're at Shibati and the snack street. It's only a three to four-minute walk from Jiaochangkou Station Exit 9, which is incredibly convenient. Walking to Jiefangbei takes about eight minutes. The shower pressure was also good. The only minor drawback was the poor soundproofing; we were woken up by noises from upstairs, but the issue was quickly resolved after we informed the housekeeper. Overall, it's highly recommended!

JJo TehThe property could benefit from some updates and maintenance. One of the queen bedrooms was converted from a balcony, making it extremely cold during winter. Additionally, the heater in one of the rooms next to the hall was not working, which made it very uncomfortable to sleep through the night.
The bathroom in one of the rooms remained choked throughout our stay, and overall, the bathrooms were not thoroughly cleaned. The kitchen also lacked proper cleanliness, which was disappointing.
On a positive note, the view from the hall was decent, but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to make up for the shortcomings in comfort and cleanliness.

GGuest UserThe B&B is located in Jiefangbei Circle, with Light Rail Station No. 2 at the door. It is also very close to surrounding attractions, and it is very convenient to walk on the Light Rail.
The B&B is neat, clean and very cozy.
There is also a security code lock at the gate, which is very safe.
The landlady is very enthusiastic and answers everything. Highly recommended!
