It’s the best hostel I’ve been in so far. The owners are really friendly and provide you with some fresh homemade bread. The rooms and the amenities are clean and there are two sit down toilets. It’s close to the city centre, the night market and the metro. They also provide some helpful recommendations for restaurants and activities. Another big bonus is the rooftop terrace and the little balcony in the second floor. It’s a very social hostel and there is always something to do. I would really recommend this place!

The room is very close to the subway station, right outside the exit. The room was exceptionally clean, and the bedding was spotless. The host was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, even when our train arrived very early in the morning. Nearby, there are traditional hot pot restaurants and various local snacks, all delicious and affordable. We truly experienced the warmth and hospitality of Chongqing people. I'd definitely stay here again if I get the chance to visit Chongqing.

My stay in Chongqing was truly memorable, and a huge part of that experience was thanks to this exceptional hotel. The check-in process was smooth and fast, allowing me to settle into my room without any delays after a long journey. The hotel’s location is absolutely outstanding and incredibly convenient for travelers. In front of Metro.It is situated close to major attractions, shopping areas, restaurants, and public transportation, making it very easy to explore the city. The surrounding area is vibrant yet safe, offering stunning city views, especially at night when the skyline lights up beautifully. Whether you are visiting for leisure, family vacation, or business purposes, the location provides excellent accessibility. The room exceeded my expectations in every aspect. It was spacious, modern, and thoughtfully designed with comfort in mind. The bed was extremely comfortable, with high-quality linens and pillows that ensured a restful sleep every night. Cleanliness was impeccable — every corner of the room, including the bathroom, was spotless and well maintained. The housekeeping team did a remarkable job of keeping the room fresh, tidy, and well stocked with amenities throughout my stay. One of the highlights was the breathtaking view from the room. The large windows allowed natural light to fill the space during the day, while at night, the panoramic city view created a relaxing and luxurious atmosphere. Safety and security at the hotel were also excellent. The hotel maintained strong security measures, and I felt completely safe throughout my stay. This is especially important for travelers visiting the city for the first time. Overall, this hotel delivers outstanding service, excellent facilities, and superb comfort. The combination of strategic location, beautiful views, cleanliness, and exceptional customer service makes it one of the best accommodation choices in Chongqing. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city, and I would definitely choose to stay here again in the future.

Solid hostel, but potentially better options? Didn't like how they expected a perfect review before you commit to staying...major dislike, but I was too lazy to find another spot. Easy enough location to find...a bit far from a metro to be perfect but that's alright. Staff were helpful and common room was big, but kitchen was not available which seemed weird. Nice beds. Solid without being a wow.

I never expected that I could find such a cost-effective hotel in the dreamy 3D city of Chongqing. If my friends come to Chongqing in the future, they must choose Amway. I chose this hotel, mainly because it is convenient to go everywhere and the transportation is very good. It’s very convenient. It’s very close to the entertainment town. We spent a whole day there, and there were still many fun activities that we haven’t tried yet. When we got back, we ate hot pot downstairs. It was indeed hot in Chongqing, but the taste was genuine. Yes, we also brought Chongqing specialties to friends and colleagues. I really rarely give reviews, so I have to stand up for this. Another point is that the lady at the front desk is really super nice. I can only say that she is beautiful and kind-hearted, so the overall experience is , rush rush rush!

Top-notch view! ✨ Just checked out and I have to rave about this amazing guesthouse! The location is incredible, only a five-minute walk to the beach. Evening strolls watching the sunset were so therapeutic. The room was clean and cozy, and the smart home features were super convenient to use. The floor-to-ceiling windows framed the entire sea view perfectly, and waking up to the sun in the morning was pure bliss~ The owner even thoughtfully prepared local snacks and a travel guide. The value for money is absolutely fantastic, I'll definitely stay here again next time! 👍

First off, I'm a local from Chongqing, and I absolutely love staying in hotels. Of course, having stayed in so many, my standards are a bit higher. But since I'm just an ordinary office worker, I've only ever stayed in hotels priced between 100-180 yuan. This hotel is a hidden gem I stumbled upon on July 23rd, after checking out of two previous hotels. I got lucky that day – right after checking out of the last place, I managed to book a special promotional room here! And it even came with its own washing machine! For introverts like us who occasionally travel alone, having a washing machine in the room is incredibly important, honestly, I was so happy about that! The interior decor and furnishings are also very simple and clean (highly recommend the lighting for photos, it's fantastic!). There's also a subtle fragrance in the room (I'm not sure if the hotel intentionally uses an air freshener, I didn't see one, but I could smell it). And I really loved the small table and chairs here! That very day, I went out and bought plenty of drinks, barbecue, and braised dishes, and spread them all over the table! It was great for a solo night, or even more fun for two! Who can say no to a pre-sleep nightcap? The night view from this location is also absolutely stunning. Sipping a little wine and leaning by the window to gaze at the night view is incredibly relaxing (kids, don't get too close to the window, okay? ₍ᵔ•ᴗ•ᵔ₎) Based on my experience staying in so many hotels, finding a place with such excellent amenities at this price point is truly a treasure! If you see a special promotional room, don't hesitate, just go for it! It's absolutely worth every penny! Finally, here are a couple of small suggestions for this wonderful hotel, hoping my good luck will strike again when I visit the area next time. First, having only a single, plain showerhead in the bathroom really cheapens the look. If possible, I hope you can replace it with a shower system that includes a shower heater. Second, when I used the restroom, I discovered there was no phone holder! Oh my goodness! Please, you must rectify this. It’s really hard to manage wiping your butt while holding your phone! Booked this hotel for the loft room type which has only 1 unit. Note that there are only 14 rooms across 2 floors located in a commercial building. Seems like it is very common in cq to have such hotels which are occupying floors in a building. The room has a great view of Jiefangbei and you can see the monument from the room. Pls note that the location of the room is just next to the entrance which i didn't like (personal preference) but it didn't affect me in terms of noise. Smart system, tv projector The room is using a smart system which you can control through voice. However this proved to be a problem for me instead as everytime I returned and put in the key card, the same settings operate e.g. music automatically plays and the announcement starts and I have to ask it to stop playing the music. The lighting is also preset with hindered the brightness of the projector. Note that there is no tv, only a projector with iqiyi inbuilt so there are no tv channels and most of the shows require a subscription to play. I wasn't able to adjust the lights according to what I want. So if I wanted a very clear resolution, I had to turn off all lights. Bathroom The toilet seat was automatic with bidet. As it is automated, you have to press a button to open the seat cover everytime you want to use. If you use the disposable seat cover, it cannot detect you and halfway using the toilet, the seat keeps coming down to close as it closes automatically. The position of the handheld shower is also very low. I'm 1.68m tall which was the perfect height but anyone taller will hit the shower. One very important point to note is also that the hotel only uses disposable towels to my dismay. They do not have regular towels. If I had known I wouldn't have booked this hotel. I'm not sure if this is a common thing in cq. There are also no hooks in the bathroom and the sink is outside the bathroom. During my stay it rained a bit so the area just beside the bed had a pool of water which likely came from a leak in the building. For this room, the electronic curtains were also unable to cover the room totally due to the stairs going up to the bed. Aircon Due to the size of the room, I felt that the ac wasn't strong enough to cool the room totally. In conclusion, the hotel has a great location and good service but if I had known the above, I would hv chosen another regular hotel with tv, regular towels etc. I wanted to check out after 1 night but didn't as it was just simply too troublesome and my booking was non refundable.

I had checked in with a short delay but it was a good apartment, you enter the apartment with a code for the duration of your stay which is perfect. The amenities are good enough for a solo traveler and it’s not too far from the closest subway station, about 10 minutes walk up a hill. There’s a fridge and washing machine with good views of the city, I would recommend it if you’re on a budget and want to save money. The amenities are pretty good for the price, I would probably stay there again

My stay at the Arashiyama High-rise River View Hotel exceeded expectations! The hotel's location is super convenient, making it easy to get around and go shopping. Check-in at the front desk was quick, and the staff were gentle and attentive. The room was spotless, the bedding soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing excellent, leading to a wonderfully quiet night. The bathroom had a wet and dry separation, and all the toiletries were provided. Overall, it offers great value for money, with attention to detail that made for a truly peaceful and comfortable stay. The only downside was that it's been raining a lot recently, so there were quite a few mosquitoes – but the view from the window was absolutely stunning, with a great vista.
