s.oya_Everything was good. It's not that hard to find as people write. The location is amazing, everything is pretty close, but when you come back you don't struggle with the crowd. The room was clean with a nice city view. It had a shampoo and shower gel in the shower, free sleepers in the room.
The hostel has a laundry that costs 8 RMB.
The host was extremely friendly and ready to help with everything. Even helped me to find a location from the photo. She doesn't speak English so every conversation was through the translator. But it was comfortable

🚗For self-driving trips, a hotel with parking is the top choice. This one has parking right at the entrance. The parking lot isn't great, but it's convenient.
🚶 The hotel is conveniently located, just a few minutes' walk from the visitor center, where you can take the scenic bus to the Puhua Underground River. You can also visit the covered bridge and explore the ancient town.
🏠 I stayed in a standard room on the second floor. The beds were one 1.1 meters and one 1.2 meters, not the 1.3 meters listed online. Cleanliness was average, and the room had a slightly musty smell, likely due to the recent heavy rains.
🍽️ There are plenty of restaurants nearby, but I didn't find any good ones. The Qianjiang chicken offal hotpot, at 98 yuan, is actually less expensive than the 58 yuan in the main city. The noodle shop's seasoning wasn't very fragrant, and the mung bean noodles were a bit hard and tough.
📄 Overall, for a one-night stay with no high standards, I recommend this hotel.

Guest UserThe room's bed was large and soft, and the curtains were excellent at blocking out light, at just the right height and size for changing clothes behind. The dining area and lobby were also nice; the lobby's bookshelf had books and entertainment like a PS4. The only downside was that during peak hours, the women's restroom squat toilets were all occupied, and the first sliding door to the Western-style toilet was broken. After I used it, I tried to push the door open, but it didn't budge. Instead, it split the flesh and nail of my left middle finger, causing significant bruising.

Dave from SomervilleRoof deck. Amazing large roof deck with amazing large view of the Chongqing skyline. Lucky if you find yourself here. Authentic neighborhood, authentic building, super cheap price for what this place is- a well positioned, homey, comfortable stay with a very friendly host. Chongqing known for confusion with navigation- this place is mad easy- lines up with the cross-river tourist cable car, is 10-15 minute walk to metro stop (Shangxinjie, Line 6. And I think it might have been this metro station that I was able to get a metro card good for near-all cities in China; convenient..) . Pretty much same distance to the bridge to walk over the Yangtze River. Convenient store with fruit at bottom of steps. Plenty of neighborhood restaurants. It was a place I found hard to leave. Lots of stairs in Chongqing.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hostel. The place is clean, safe, and very comfortable, which made my time in Chengdu really enjoyable. The atmosphere is friendly and well organized, and everything was exactly as expected.
I would especially like to thank Zhu Lu, whose service was truly outstanding. Having staff members who speak a very good level of English makes a big difference for international travelers, and Zhu Lu was always helpful, kind, and professional.
Feeling safe, welcomed, and well assisted during a trip is very important, and this hostel definitely delivered that experience.
If I come back to Chengdu, I would absolutely stay here again.
Highly recommended!

The location is great for terminal 2 of the airport (not so much for terminal 3
The bed itself was good quality, with proper privacy curtain, plugs, and a personal light.
The shower toilet was big, and it had a separate wet area so you can keep your stuff in the room while showering.
WiFi was OK.
The windows of the building are terrible, so it was extremely noisy from both cars and planes. It also didn't stop the cold weather, and heating wasn't provided, so it was extremely cold in the room...

For this price, it’s better than I expected. I had some difficulties finding the place, and it’s not easy to get a response from the staff/host, but hey, it’s only $5 a night. The beds are good, the sheets are fresh and clean. There’s a living room where you can chill and get a powerbank for rent, there’s a fridge also. The balcony offers an outstanding view. For this price and location this is easily 9,5/10.

1. The curtains on the top bunk let in light, and I suspect it's not just the top bunk; the bottom bunk curtains are also too short.
2. The headboards on the beds are covered in this stuff, looks really dirty. Basic hygiene standards weren't met.
3. There were no bath towels in the room. I asked friends who'd stayed here before, and they said you have to request them yourself, and they're very small.
4. No toiletries were provided in the bathroom, just one bottle of Head & Shoulders that might have been left by a previous guest.
5. The hairdryer was awful, very weak airflow.
6. At night, I could hear the sound of some machinery running in the room; it was very noisy and really affected my sleep.
7. Perhaps it's because they have cats, but the whole hostel smelled terrible.
I won't say more. Overall, the experience was very poor, and I won't be coming back. The price was low, so I'm not giving an extremely low rating.

This was my first time staying in a hostel, and it was a really great choice. There's a shopping street downstairs, and the elevators are very convenient – no long waits and not crowded at all. The cleanliness and quietness were excellent. Highly recommended!!!

Guest UserVery difficult to find, it is on the top floor of an apartment building and there are no signs to indicate it is there until you have got out the elevator and walked up 2 flights of stairs. Make sure you reach out to the owner before arriving and he will be able to help you and speaks great English. We didn’t do this and found out the hard way!
Owner was very friendly, able to book trips for us and recommend things to do. In a great location. You get what you pay for, but this was a great budget option!
