The bed mattress is one of the best in all my experience. I had great sleep during the stay. The cleanliness of the room was ok. The location is very convenient if you are driving - 20 mins drive to the walking trails and 10 mons drive to centre of Sheffiled. David from the restaurant provided highly professional and helpful service for our breakfast. All in all, we would consider staying at this hotel again if we visit this area again.

In addition to regular coffee and drinks, the breakfast was quite good. The front desk is so-so. It is about 5-6 stops by rail from the University of Sheffield. It feels a little bit remote. There is a large supermarket/parking lot nearby. From the station, pass the supermarket back to the hotel. There were some fast food a few hundred meters behind the hotel, but we did not go.

Its location is quite good, with a bus stop nearby making it easy to get to Darcy Manor (just check Google Maps). The room came with a bathtub, although the water pressure was a bit weak. Both the air conditioning and extractor fan operated on timers, which I presume is an energy-saving measure. It felt like the room was half of a two-bedroom suite, given the locked connecting door in the middle, which unfortunately led to poor soundproofing. Luckily, the guests next door only chatted briefly after returning late at night before going to sleep, so the noise wasn't too disruptive.

The hotel building is beautiful, stylish and well maintained.
Breakfast was lovely but be warned the breakfast room is quite snug when there is a busy period.

We basically live our normal day back home once we have checked in. The discounted Q-Park nearby is great , so I do not need to bear the expensive parking fee. So I am flexible in travelling with my rental car or walk in the city. I will likely book this apartment again whenI visit Sheffield again

However, the rooms are so quiet with soundproof rooms, really comfortable and spacious.
It was an ideal location near Lyceum Theatre and a lobely square opposite for eating and drinking. We sat at the roof top bar for drinks and staff were polite and helpful. I would love to revisit but the air con was abit of a downside for me.

|0.6km from Fly DSA ArenaI am Benny Mok(the register name is WAI-FU MOK), spent three days there at ROOM 211 from 31/7/2022 to 2/8/2022 in summer & I found that all the facilities in the hotel were superb & I was highly satisfied. The only shortcoming was there was a long weird sound when flushing at the bathroom. There might be some problems in the toilet bowl hose.
Otherwise than that, I highly recommend this hotel cuz all the staff members at the hotel ARE SUPER FRIENDLY, welcoming, cheerful, caring including the housekeeping ladies !
Last but not least, the receptionist ~KARRA RIPPON. karra was the most patient, helpful, amicable , devoted, loving, thoughtful & caring staff member over there & there is no doubt about that! Would you mind sharing this inspiring message with this excellent receptionist and tell her that the inspiring message was from a HONG KONG IMMIGRANT FAMILY ? Many thanks & I owe you one!

Our room, by the way was last on a long corridor on the upper floor of an extended wing if you can picture that. We booked (and paid for) a room for three but upon entering, the extra bed was not made up. Tried to call every number on the house phone but none was answered which meant another long walk to the front office, again.
When we found the drain in the shower clogged I was hesitant to complaint to avoid further disappointment but I did anyhow and true enough - nothing was done.
I must admit the hotel had one of the widest selection of tea and coffee (and chocolate drink mix) I've seen in a hotel room. I appreciated the coffee but unfortunately, restocking was only done once throughout our 4 night stay. I wonder if this was to be expected.
Double Tree is a respectable brand (at least in my part of the world) but I don't understand what could have gone so wrong with this one.

They replied to me straight away and I had no problem to have a smooth check in. The room has a basic amenity but the receptionist told me that they could anything if I needed to. The receptionists were very friendly both at checking in and checking out. The location was bang on centre of city centre and very convenient. I just needed a place to sleep as my stay in Sheffield was minimum and I am 100% satisfied with EasyHotel.
Like I said earlier, this is my second time. If I wasn’t happy with my first experience, I wouldn’t have booked this time.

I did not sleep well, the mattress was rather uncomfortable. I did report it and was told they were in the process of upgrading mattresses. The staff were all very happy, welcoming and friendly.
