There was no reception! Really odd. No food obviously. The TV was perched on a drawer unit as it had been broken off the wall. A bit dangerous. It fell over once. The wardrobe was also worse for wear. It was a comfy bed but we were kept awake by rowdy neighbours.

We enjoyed our stay and will probably return next year The location was perfect and free parking was amazing. It would have been good to have a small jug to refill the kettle. It was a shame the TV unit had been taken off the wall bracket which meant tea and coffee facilities had been relocated to underneath the hanging clothes rail. We all slept very well in the comfy beds and enjoyed the family rooms both with ensuite. Very good value for money and excellent location.

room was a little jaded (curtains not well arranged, window had a beading missing, and the bathroom was just a little past its prime) and the tea/coffee hidden in a cupboard (why?) and there was only one sachet of hot choc and one pack of biscuits for two occupants - but the bed was huge, and we loved the two bottles of still & sparkling water which met our two preferences! These days a couple of charging points would also be welcome. Chosen for location so can't fault that - and the lovely doorman (the local cat) was an absolute asset to the hotel. Would book again.
