Superb building in a perfect location for us. We were in a room with a wonderful sea view to wake up to every morning. Breakfast was a very high quality and gave us a great start to the day. Overall the hotel is very clean and every facility will used appears to be maintained to a good standard. Our room was very spacious compared to many other hotels rooms I have stayed in. The bathroom was definitely larger than average and included a good size shower, with plenty of hot water at a good pressure. Even when the other taps were used, the shower seemed to carry on totally unaffected. A couple of small details that would have improved our stay. A working lift, during our visit it was out of order. But this didn't spoil our stay. The other detail would be a small stool ( or similar) in the bathroom. All staff came across as friendly, approachable and helpful, they all seemed keen to ensure that we enjoyed our stay at The Osborne. We took a walk around some of the grounds which all appeared to be very well maintained. We also walked out of the grounds and across the bay at Meadfoot, its a great location to stroll and enjoy the fresh sea air. Would we stay here again? Definitely, we have already discussed our next visit.

The spa is incredible, so relaxing. Ideal location with about 10 mins walk to Harbour and to Meadfoot beach. Breakfast was on the small side but tasty. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are okay, clean, but for 4* I’d expect a bit more like an iron in the room, toiletries, wash cloths etc. Didn’t sleep that well unfortunately as was woken up by people coming back to room as doors are loud and corridor floors are creaky. This let it down, but I’d return for the spa experience!

Sorry, we are unable to accommodate those in a wheel chair.If you enjoy walking, cycling, sailing or spending time at the beach we are in the perfect location for your holiday!Little Merida has two bedrooms and sleeps five. Booked a last minute break and have to say what a little gem this hotel is. We were welcomed by the owners Steve & Wendy who the most friendly and down to earth people you would ever wish to meet. Their attention to detail is second to none. Complimentary home baked Bakewell tart, fresh milk if needed and an even honesty bar whereby you are trusted to serve your own drinks and settle upon departure. Never came across this before at any hotel stay, just shows what genuine good people the owners are. The hotel is immaculate, tastefully decorated and only a few moments stroll to the sea front. We had the best nights sleep, mattress was extremely comfortable and bed linen was of high quality. Lovely freshly cooked breakfast made to order with additional fresh continental offerings available. This hotel failed to disappoint we can’t wait to visit again.

Great hotel, the room was lovely & so was the pool area! We went on the weekend at the start of half term so there was a lot of family’s there & children. I heard the week is better if you don’t want lots of children around but for us this wasn’t an issue. The hotel is very big & there is lots around. It is also in a great location close to the beach, parks & walking distance from the town. We really enjoyed our stay here :)

Location and view are fantastic, facilities are good, there's no denying it's an old hotel and that comes with some quirks and even a few areas that are a bit rough round the edges but it's not advertised as the 5 star hotel it once was. So as a 4 star I'd recommend it to anyone, the staff and cleanliness of room couldn't be faulted!! My only real gripe / area that needs some more immediate attention is please get an EV charger or two!

As always we were greeted with a friendly face and smile at reception,we arrived before check in time but they always check to see if a room is available. On this occasion it wasn't but they happily took our bags in so we could go enjoy our afternoon without the worry of carrying them around. Check in was quick and simple and we were in our room within 5 mins of check in. Room was spacious clean and fresh. We were given a twin room this time which was perfect as I was traveling with a friend not partner. Bed was super comfy with great pillows. Shower was really nice ,decent water pressure and the shower gel provided was lovely too. Breakfast was a big selection of the normal cooked,everything was fresh and tasty,bacon was slightly over cooked but the rest was great. Nice selection of pastries too. Continental is also an option there. Fresh juices and hot drink available also. Overall another 5* stay in my opinion and as a regular user will be returning again in the nr future! Thankyou Hilton.

If you are not sure where to stay - don’t waste any time looking elsewhere, I can 100% recommend staying at Arran Lodge. We were so impressed with how well we were looked after, a clean and kept room with everything you might possibly need, including a welcome treat - homemade cake, space to park the car outside the house, a welcome reception and the most wonderful breakfast choice! The stay was pleasant, the room was basic but clean missed not having a bath and just a shower missed simple things like a hair dryer in the room although when requested at the reception I was given one and lack of choice of coffee and tea in the room. It was very nice that there was no noise at night and meant a decent night's sleep. Breakfast was acceptable, but you have to get there early when it comes out hot from the kitchen, or it is all cold from spending to long under the hot plates. The only big downside is it's a good 30mns walk from the town centre although buses seem to run outside the hotel but there is a good-sized car park if you drive. The room was small but fine for just my 2 nights stay and acceptable. I'm not sure the room size, lack of luxuries and breakfeast beng hit and miss would make it comfortable for a longer stay.

What can I say, when we turned up the outside had old furniture outside so 1st thoughts was its been refurbished. We were told that we had to move our car from the car park or pay an additional £10 per night, this wasn't in the advert when we booked but suddenly appeared later that evening. It was hard to find parking on the street so had to pay. The facilities were basic. No extra pillows, just 2. Shower over bath, no curtain or mat. Coffee was sparce & uht milk expired but they did give us more when asked. The cups were however odd & looked like has been used by the painters. Area was quite good, near to takeaways etc.

The has incredible amenities for the price they charge! Everyone was warm and welcoming and made sure we were catered to at all times during our stay. The rooms were comfortable and what you would expect a standard room too have, the rooms were slightly rough around the edges and had general ware and tear but that didn’t bother us much. Overall very happy with our stay, and will be coming again.
