Bewl Water is a few minutes’ away on foot, or a short car journey takes you to Bedgebury Pinetum, Scotney Castle, Bodium Castle and the wonderful gardens at Sissinghurst and Great Dixter. But with a complete change of mood, the bustling town of Royal Tunbridge Wells is only twenty minutes by car and London can be accessed easily from the mainline station in the neighbouring village of Wadhurst.The south coast is a pleasant drive away, through the leafy lanes.
