What a gem! Literally direct opposite one of the rear entrances of the grand New Street Station, up the stairs/lift into a little arcade of shops (nail bar/hair salon and luxury watches) and the hotel entrance. The check in lobby is nothing much impressive but the overall building and decor with high ceilings, big staircases and marble surfaces are albeit a bit outdated in tone, still much preferable to us. The room is very spacious and the bathroom with Elemis supplied soap walk-shower and self-standing bathtub is the biggest we’ve ever been into. The hotel bar, restaurant and breakfast area are located on the first floor looking over the New Street pedestrian shopping street and the staff are very good. Enjoyed my stay, the complimentary tea was nice but basic. Coffee was okay. View was nice. Bathroom was clean. It had a iron in the room that was nice as most don't. T. V had Netflix and prime also YouTube. Out of all the hotels I have stayed I would rate it 6/10 because it's convenient and when you leave your 2 minutes away from thr train station. Wasn't pleased as it wasn't serving breakfast as renovating the restaurant.

The toilet is not very sanitary and cannot get in water in the bathroom You have to use a floor mop to push the water back and it takes at least an hour to get the water. I stayed for two nights, but on the first night I found two towels that were quite dirty, so I called them. I asked for two relatively clean towels, but after waiting for 40 minutes, no one changed them, so I took them myself. The staff who answered the phone should have forgotten. Maybe they forgot all the guests' problems while chatting!

Comfort Inn Location is great, just next to Birmingham New Street train station and within 3 mins walking distance to Birmingham China town, so plenty of restaurants and cafe surround this hotel. The only downside is the shower area, the curtain was short and water spilling everywhere when take shower. Overall I would rate 4.0 for Comfort Inn due to excellent location and reasonable price

The aircon system was totally sucks, it happened to numbers of rooms, even we changed the room it wasn’t help. The staff told me that the maintenance can only be conducted on weekdays (our stays in during weekends) !!!! We can’t breath while we were sleeping, no choice but to open the windows. Our room is facing to the Main Street with heavy traffic even siren sounds from police car. Luckily we just stay for 1 night. Once is enough ！

Thia place is an hidden gem. Once you get over the access to the building etc I could not fault the apartment. It is clean modern and had everything I required for my stay. The woman on reception wss patient whilst I got to grips with the front door code. Car park is small but I managed to get a space. I would recommend Naps Inn great value for money.

A very central location, with superb breakfast. We stayed at the heart of Birmingham city, with designated hotel parking lots at the basement (you have to pay extra for parking but £13 overnight is good enough). Free coffee and hot chocolate at the lobby. Room is comfortable and of good size. Interestingly, the bathroom door serves its dual role of both the bathroom’s and the toilet’s door. Breakfast was fantastic with ingredients to make a full English breakfast (minus the black pudding). Recommend this place if you want to be close to bustling heart of the city center.

The hotel is located in prime place where there are many pubs around. Though our room is on 6th floor, It is quite noisy at night and we barely slept due to the traffic and honking horns at 3:30am, People fighting and yelling at the top of their voice. It is weird that this hotel has partition between the toilet with no wash basin and the bath tub, Felt very unhygienic. The air conditioning is not efficient, when complained to the reception, they are kind enough to send us a fan which made it easier to sleep. The staff is perfect and their service is excellent.

When we entered the room, there was an armchair with a base for our child. I recently stayed at this hotel and overall, my experience was quite mixed. The location itself is excellent, with easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. However, there are several issues that affected my stay. First, the air conditioning in the room was not cold enough, even when set to the lowest temperature. This made it difficult to sleep comfortably, especially during warm weather. Second, the WiFi provided was an unsecured public network, which did not feel safe for handling any personal or sensitive information online. While the room was reasonably clean, the bathroom had a persistent mouldy smell that did not go away throughout my stay. Overall, I would not recommend staying here for more than one night. There are better options available in the same area.

Hotel location is good, but no Novotel is close to the airport. Novotel is walking at the door of the airport glass door for a minute. This hotel is to take the airport light rail for three minutes, then get off the train for ten minutes to walk through the exhibition hall. The exhibition hall is about five minutes walk. Remember that the hotel entrance is at the pizza shop. After entering the door, the elevator is on the second floor. It is the lobby, don't go wrong or circle. The breakfast is very suitable for the Chinese stomach, and the variety is very rich. I live here because I want to participate in the cake show every November. The picture is that it is convenient to go to the exhibition hall without going too far, otherwise the mobile phone is tired. Actually, it is also very tired, stop and go all the way. The hotel is actually a Shanghai-like Heshenghui, a big shopping mall. The hotel reception is in the corner of the second floor of the shopping mall. The guest room is inside the corner building built outside the main building. I feel that the floor of the guest room is built instead of cement, but the quality is very good. . There are not many stores in the mall, the British consumption is not high in the country, and there is a little bit of Colombia in the north. It feels high consumption. There are very few other shops. There is a coffee shop costa in the mall. You can buy a sandwich clerk to help you heat up. The huge sandwich is delicious. There is a specialty store in the Swiss Lotus chocolate, and it is more cost-effective to sell chocolate. Finally, the check-out of this hotel is not to check the room, the room card can go directly to the front desk.

However, the other guests’ showering and toilet flushing was overheard all the time/continuously, specially between 6 am-8 am. The breakfast is nice but the restaurant flow (the positions of the food, drinks etc., and the movements of the service staff) is not OK.

Great location for Birmingham University and also for local attractions such as the Barber Institute, Wildlife Park and Midlands Arts Centre. Airy bright hotel with a nice comfortable bar and seating areas. Check-in and out were quick and efficient. Free parking but do remember to input your car details. Room was smartly decorated and very comfortable. Mattresses are good and the shower and water pressure are great. My only niggle is that the windows - at least in the room we were in - are narrow slits, meaning that the room is rather dark and gloomy in the mornings. Breakfast was good - a substantial buffet in a high ceiling-ed, cheerful room. Good range of alternative milks available, and a bit of a treat to have smoked salmon :) This was our second stay and we'll be happy to stay here again.
