The only issue I have is the intermittent water dripping noise from the ceiling of the room (I stayed in room 15) which has affected my sleep. As the room was really really quiet, the dripping noise is quite obvious. I hope it just happened to me.

Our dog enjoyed the bed and treats as well as walks in the beautiful grounds. Breakfast was excellent and the rooms were clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable. We had a comfortable sleep with a copious breakfast in the morning. The B&B has no parking facilities but our arrival and departure times suited the parking allowance in the Square/ 2 hrs free parking between 0900-1800h. Had we spent longer we would have had to find other parking facilities.

Feels I bit like and old persons nursing home.
But the staff were excellent, every single one of them.
Stayed in a double suite… nice enough but that ain’t not suite. We had supper in the Lakeside restaurant on site which was good and reasonably priced but it was cold in the room and the food took ages to arrive… even though I only had a Caesar Salad !!
Anyway, we decided not to bother with breakfast but check out as well as check in was faultless.
The Spa / leisure club were quite simply dismal. The pool was Arctic cold, changing rooms “snug” and loungers awful.

The hotel occupies a huge area, and has not finished shopping for more than half an hour. Many ancient buildings and sculptures. The restaurant is super beautiful and can be used for lunch and dinner here. For breakfast, only take cold food, and the meal will be paid separately. Service is very good, butler style. The room is actually a three-story duplex, the style is more beautiful than the rural mix, but the three floors will be a little inconvenient. Other big room types are not available at the time. Travel to the town attractions for a chartered tour. In short, the trip is worthwhile and the memory is profound. Looking for a different English country rich experience, come here!

Some guests tried it on complaining their food was inadequate but in fact most of us found the food was really nice and to top it top it all we all got a substantial reduction in price. The management redeemed themselves entirely. Would I stay again, yes we would as we think it is a work in progress.
