I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel was clean and the team were super helpful and polite. Sadly due to the nature of the stay we were unable to use the leisure facilities but these were fully open for us to make use of. Breakfast was buffet style, with a chef available cooking fresh eggs. The team also made us vegetarian sausages to meet our dietary requirements. The breakfast tasted great and the food was of good quality

Clean room with perfect location, right in the centre of town. We got a room just by the fire exit, which spoiled the window view. The room had an air conditioner but you couldn’t open any window to get some fresh air, which was the most significant downside of the room. The double bed was too small for 2 person to sleep on comfortably . The staff were polite and friendly.

This hotel is just a short walk away from the train station, which makes it pretty central regardless of where in Nottingham you need to go. The rooms are clean and comfortable, although I dislike the insistent emails on the lead in to my visit trying to get you to check in online. Good job I didn't, as I arrived early unexpectedly and was still able to get a room straightaway, whereas I would have had a couple of hours to wait if I'd done the online check in. This is a decent chain of hotels, I've had good experiences in the past and this visit was also fine. Only real complaint was the absence of biscuits with the tea and coffee set up in the room - surely a basic human right.

We have a fantastic stay in Doubletree by Hilton in Nottingham. The room is very spacious, much bigger than those Doubletree hotel rooms in other cities, good value for money! The amenities and facilities are of high quality. The housekeeping staff are very friendly and helpful. Check-in process is very smooth. The welcoming cookies are very tasty too! Although the location of the hotel is a little far from the town centre, we can easily drive to there and the hotel car park is free. Highly recommended!

A lovely place. We we're a bit iffy on sraying due to the rating of the hotel but after reading the reviews most were about the rooms being dated. Since we were only planning to be there for a night, who cares? There was an issue with the booking from Trip.com's side which the duty manager Declan was able to resolve in a timely mannor while also making the wait very pleasant with some nice chat. The staff were lovely, including the two young ladys on the bar/food service as well as Declan. Unfortunately didnt get the girls names. The building is stunning and surrounded by lovely woods, perfect for a walk. Rooms are a bit dated, sure, but why are you looking to spend all your time in your room? More than enough to have a comfy sleep in. Also as a side note on that, id imagine It's a listed building and so hard an expensive to update. Overall a lovely night and a pleasant morning having breakfast then a walk. Absolutely would recommend.

I’d looked at previous reviews and wasn’t sure what to expect, however we were really pleased with our stay. Location excellent, staff very pleasant and helpful. Rooms, although bathroom a little tired, everything was clean. Bed was very comfortable and bedding nice quality. Nice touches included toiletries (espa) , kettle and coffee maker. My stay was for work and it was lovely. I slept really well in such a comfy bed. I was disappointed by the spa area, the pool water was cold and the jacuzzi water was also cold and not even the slightest bit warm. The breakfast was lovely with such a range to enjoy from. The food in the restaurant just seemed like it’s trying to be too fancy. For the price,there really wasn’t much on the plate and it could have been seasoned more. The bar menu gave more promise than the restaurant so was a shame to have a nice setting but the food just didn’t live up to it. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would return to this hotel. The service was great and the staff were excellent. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Overall cleanliness was good, however there was a visible stain on one of the pillows. Having a separate ironing room on each floor and everything ready to start ironing made my job much easier. There were no hand towels in the bathroom, so I had to use the body towel to dry my hands. Overall I was very pleased and it will definitely be a hotel I plan to stay at when I come back.

The price is very high, the transportation is convenient, there is a large supermarket Lidl opposite, and life is very convenient. The reception staff were very polite, a gentleman who works at night was extremely friendly giving me snacks in the early hours because I was hungry and the kitchen was closed. Only the cleaning staff made a lot of noise at 7:30am, a very early time to start, which could disturb guests who are still resting.
