The room was spacious. It took about 15-20 minutes to walk from the station to the hotel. Overall, it was a good experience, the only minor downsides were that the hairdryer was a bit weak and no complimentary water was provided.

Hotel is very nice. Location is convenient. Room was a bit awkward with the ladder to access the bed area. Shower was spacious.

10 mins walk away from Amsterdam Central Station. Got upgraded to the Junior Suite and our stay was so pleasant.

The receptionist is very friendly and helpful. Room is small but clean. I lived for 2 days not request room service but they kindly leave the clean towel on the door knob very sweet +++ O yes the location is super. Close to all. I will definitely come back.

I was a little worried because after I had booked I read a terrible review. But we found the hotel faultless and excellent value for money in central Amsterdam. Our room was compact but comfortable with coffee making facilities and water updated daily. A lovely shower and nice toiletries. The staff were so friendly and very helpful. The bar area and restaurant were a delight and we had pre dinner drinks there and not overpriced either. I would recommend

The Hotel de Port Van Cleve is wonderful in a great location. I don't have experience with Euro amenities but the historic building (original Heineken location) has tiny elevators, minimal storage and room ac that was slow to cool at night. If you are easy-going with what may be normal, we recommend this location in old town with helpful staff in historicbig cities,, a relatively spacious room, comfortable beds and a great shower. The tram stop to the museum district is near, a big grocery a block away and countless restaurants and stores within a 15 min walk, or easy to ride to.

Beautiful hotel steeped in history and the beds were quite comfy, just that the mattress topper kept moving :( the counter staff were ok, not the nicest staff we’ve met. Location is a little far from train station but near to the main area.

Location is in the middle of the center. Hotel is clean and service is ok. Facilities are a little old.

It’s a bit of an older hotel, but was an interesting experience. The elevators had a door that you open by yourself! But should not have high expectations on “newness”. The staff are super nice and friendly, very welcoming too. The rooms are a bit smaller than expected but overall clean. Would recommend to bring your own shampoo and conditioner though, as they only had a one-for-all soap for the whole body and hair. The hairdryers are also the type thats connected to the wall so expect longer hair drying time.
