Hotels Near Higashi-Asahikawa Station in Asahikawa

I’m very surprised by the relatively low rating of this hotel. We had a very good experience here, and found the room to be spacious and comfortable (though fairly typical old-school Japanese hotel). Service was good overall and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel is located in the best part of Asahikawa, near the main train station and the very cool and fun shopping street. The hotel also has an outdoor parking lot located immediately behind the hotel. Our only hiccup was that we arrived slightly before the 1500 check in time (we arrived at 1440) and were told we had to wait until exactly 1500 to check in. This is Japan and I appreciate being a stickler for the rules, but sometimes good customer service is about making calculated exceptions. Maybe next time. We would certainly recommend this place to others.

The hotel is huge with many tourists.There were queues at the front desk and for the elevators. The hotel is located in the city center of Asahikawa. There are restaurants and gift shops inside the hotel. The hotel provides parking with fees.

I stayed ２ nights with my husband and wife to meet my friend in Asahikawa. It was very good, so I think I will be here next time I come. First of all, it is good to have a hot spring bath. This time it was summer, but if it was a winter snow season, I would like to thank you for the bath. It is very good to be able to sleep slowly in the public bath, not the unit bus in the room. The large bath was large and there were many washing places, and it was very comfortable. I was able to experience it this time with a ticket for rock bath. It was crowded on weekends, couples in semi-double rooms ２ names and less 々 narrow, but still, the compact room was easy to use, there was no trouble, The breakfast venue was comfortable to sit immediately without waiting. I originally liked route inn the most in the business hotel chain. If you are traveling alone, you don't have to be so careful. Japan is grateful that clean business hotels are developing to medium-sized cities. However, in Honshu, route-in is often difficult to use by rail (car location), but in Hokkaido, route-in is often in front of the station, so it is easy to use. When you leave Asahikawa Station, which creates a comfortable space with plenty of trees, you can't get lost because the route in front of Grand Asahikawa Station rises in front of you. On the left side of the station, there is also an AEON MALL equipped with a cinema complex, so you can enjoy buying souvenirs, buying travel supplies, and watching road show movies on your travels. The good thing about the route inn is that you can watch paid satellite broadcast WOWOW for free on the TV in the room. The front desk is on the 3rd floor. It is not open 24 hours on the first floor (business hours 7:00 ～ 22:00, closed on January 1), but there is a convenience store ”Seiko Mart” with many supporters in Hokkaido. The lobby on the front floor is very large. After checking out, I adjusted the time here because I had a little time to get on the train. Isn't it convenient to meet in Asahikawa, which is exceptionally cold in winter? People may have different tastes, but I can sleep well in the route-in bed. I think it's because it's not fluffy. It depends on the location of the room, but from the room I stayed, I could see the train departing and arriving at Asahikawa Station. There is Tenjinkyo natural hot spring ”Traveler's Hot Spring” on the 17th floor of the top floor. The big bath stretches your legs and heals the fatigue of the trip. I entered twice at night and in the morning. The hotel has a large communal bath of another major hotel chain in Hokkaido, and the rooms have only a r shower booth, but it is also good to have a bathroom with a bathtub properly. It's not a special luxury hotel, but I think it's the best hotel as a business hotel. I think it can be used for business, sightseeing and multipurpose purposes. Next time, if you have a chance to come to Asahikawa, this is the hotel you want to choose first.

Best amenities. Though the room is not big, I love how they cleverly make good use of every part of the room for functionality. Every space is not wasted and the TV shows the laundry usage situation so you don’t have to queue indefinitely at the laundry area for your turn. One thing to improve on could be having some hanging poles in the toilet so that we can hang our clothes to dry after washing. The dryer at the laundry area doesn’t dry the clothes completely. So we need to extend the dry mode a few more times hence many are hogging the washing machines. Still highly recommended.

The hotel is very convenient, near to train & bus stations. There is a big Aeon supermarket opposite the hotel, lots of eateries around. The local breakfast has a lot of variety. The staff are friendly, lots of amenities provided & room is spacious for 2 persons. Will stay again!

Excellent location and breakfast buffet. The universal twin bedroom is a bit small and facing the wall of building across but is functional clean and well maintained. The front desk staff are friendly but can’t communicate in English. We had to use Google translate. Parking across the hotel is 800 yen for 24 hours so would recommend. Beddings are comfortable and room is clean and quiet. Breakfast buffet with sashimi hot dishes and ice cream is such a delight and is the selling point of this hotel. Overall we are very pleased with what paid for as now is non peak season.

The room is quite decent, but the room is very small. It's difficult to walk with the suitcase spread out. However, Japanese hotels are not big. Clean every other day. The hotel's selling points are the hot springs and breakfast. There is only one pool on the women's side, and there are several on the men's side that are said to have open-air hot springs. For breakfast, you can have a bowl of seafood Katsutedon, as well as Biei milk and cantaloupe ice cream.
