Sengokuhara Shinanoki Ichinoyu
"The room is very spacious and come with a private onsen tub. We enjoy the stay over there and it is surrounded by trees. The air is very refreshing and we had a pleasant stay🙂"
Setsugetsuka
"The location is great but service a bit normal. Food is ok but not fantastic, good to try"
Yoshiike Ryokan
"Excellent food and service, but there were mosquitoes in the room."
Hakone Yumoto Onsen Hakoneji Kaiun
"The surroundings are absolutely beautiful, pretty much what you'd expect from an onsen village: there's a very picturesque river nearby, a small waterfall not too far away, and plenty of places to stroll around. They even have spots with fireflies nearby. The hotel itself is nicely decorated, and the rooms are simple, clean, and comfortable. The mountain view from the window is stunning. The onsen itself is quite basic. There are two open-air baths on the veranda. It was a unique experience for me to lie in such a huge tub! The onsen water wasn't particularly impressive, though. Another nice touch is that you can choose your yukata by color. The last photo shows the shelves where they're kept."
Irori Guest House Tenmaku
"The room is clean, there are many people, earplugs are provided because it is a bit noisy, suitable for E people"
Hotel Indigo HAKONE GORA by IHG
"The Hakone Indigo experience was superb! Our room had a balcony with a private hot spring, so we could soak and enjoy the scenery without even leaving. It was incredibly relaxing. The hotel's viewing areas are cleverly designed, with foot baths next to the scenic spots. Sipping coffee with a breeze and soaking your feet while enjoying the view – absolutely brilliant! The overall environment is comfortable and cozy, making for an amazing experience. Once you're here, all you want to do is relax at the hotel. Highly recommended!"
Tsukino Yado Sara

Hakone Yutowa
"A very comfortable hotel to stay. Just bear in mind, check out time in 10am."
Hotel Marroad Hakone
"Our stay at hotel marroad was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helped to arrange for the shuttle service back and to gora station. Hotel views were nice and facing the valley and we appreciated the complementary drinks and snacks."

Hakone Kowakien Ten-yu
"Beautiful resort in the mountains, surrounded by greenery. The hotel provides a free shuttle bus from Gora Station. Staff are friendly, helpful and speak English. Buffet dinner and breakfast had a large variety of choice. There is also unlimited drinks and ice-cream in the lobby. The rooms are clean and spacious, but the best part is the open-air bath on the balcony that you fill with natural hot spring water at the push of a button."
Oku Yugawara Sansuirou
"The hotel is very comfortable, the facilities are very good, the sanitation is very clean, the environment is beautiful, and the service is superb"
Gora Hanaougi
"The worst hot spring hotel I've ever stayed in Japan!!! And it's the most expensive. It should be the worst hotel recommended by Tirp. What kind of collusion is there? The equipment and facilities are old and aging, the room is filled with a strong pungent musty smell, which makes people cough violently and difficult to fall asleep. No one answered the hotel contact number marked on Tirp! It is also very inconvenient to get to the hotel. There is no courtesy at all when picking up and dropping off guests, and the attitude is completely indifferent. It is a world of difference from the hotel I stayed in the day before. Except for the food that is still online, I will give this hotel the title of the worst. In short, the hotel that Tirp strongly recommends on the App is extremely unfriendly and bad behavior."
Gora-Onsen Setsugetsuka-Bettei Suiun
"Fabulous place and perfect Japanese style hospitality. Great amenities, delicious food, friendly and helpful staffs - can't ask for more for a great holiday in Hakone."
Hakone Forest of Verde
"We stayed here for 3 days and it was definitely a very good decision, we loved the hotel and all the amenities, however we arrived a bit late and the shuttle bus was not available but overall we recommend staying here"
HAKONE YUYADO ZEN
"Very quiet and nice room with very good services. Will come next time."
Hakone Kowakien Hotel
"The hotel has been recently renovated and is very clean. It's located near Kowakudani, and the hotel shuttle bus stop is behind Gora Station (for the Tozan Railway). After getting off, go in the opposite direction and through the underpass, and you'll find many hotel shuttle buses parked there. The shuttle runs every 20 minutes. The hotel is also very close to the Hakone Open-Air Museum, about a 1km walk, which is quite convenient. I think you need a separate ticket for Mori no Yu, or maybe I checked in after 4 PM? Perhaps I booked too late, as it closes at 7:30 PM. The front desk didn't specifically mention this hot spring. Both breakfast and dinner are buffets. There's a bit of a wait for breakfast, but it's very well-organized. Dinner is served in two shifts, at 5 PM and either 7:30 or 8 PM – you need to book in advance. The hot spring baths are decent."
Yumoto Fujiya Hotel
"Excellent location and wonderful room. splendid scenery. very clean and comfortable"
Hakone Gora Byakudan
"The service was truly excellent, they patiently helped with translations. The kaiseki dinner was abundant and ceremonial, though the late-night snack was a bit lacking in variety. All in-room drinks were complimentary and unlimited, and the shuttle service was superb; the staff member was incredibly dedicated."
Mount View Hakone
"Good service & nice room with friendly staff"
Hakonenomori Okada
"Great stay and an excellent onsen experience. Look into transportation around Hakone before booking, but there are busses that run during the day."
Merveille Hakone Gora
"Come again since 2019, as well-known, the market pricing is higher after recent years, this time's price almost doubled. However, after the room has been refined, but not so roomy like years ago, dinner downgraded as well. Last time, the room has 2 bathtubs, one inside at restroom, another on the balcony!"
Ootaki Hotel
"The open-air bath in the room was very spacious and comfortable. The large public bath was next to the room, but we enjoyed the open-air bath in the room, which was fed directly from the source. There was also an indoor bath, which was also hot spring water. There was a foot bath and hot spring pool on the rooftop, so I think it would be fun even if you went with a large group. Breakfast was from 8am and check-out was at 10am, so it was a bit hectic, but we were able to relax in the bath in the room. It was difficult to get Wi-Fi, but I thought it was nice not to have to use my smartphone."
Yugawara Mizunokaori
"It's a 10-minute bus ride from Yugawara Station. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. I will definitely stay here again."
Hakone Yumoto Aura Tachibana
"Extremely satisfied! This is a great place to experience Japanese onsen culture with hot springs and kaiseki (traditional multi-course dinner). No need to worry about transportation or luggage; just give them a call and the hotel's dedicated shuttle responds very quickly. However, the shuttle only operates between Yumoto Station and the hotel."
Gora Hotel Paipuno Kemuri Plus
"Nice little hotel, 3 minutes from the station. Great location, and it has an onsen. Breakfast is typical Japanese fare. Some rooms face the train tracks, but it wasn't a problem for sleeping."
