Decided to pay a little extra and go with this hotel and we weren’t disappointed. The room was big and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and the gym is good 👍. Only downside was that the pool is either too cold or too windy. Given the fact that the main recent we booked it was for the pool, it is a shame that we didn’t get to swim much! Staff are very friendly.

The breakfast is rich in variety and the dishes are often changed. Every chef works conscientiously. They not only cook the dishes, but also pay attention to everything about the guests. When picking up the dishes, if you are not careful, the tongs will touch. Looking at the lighting above the dishes, the two chefs immediately adjusted the lights above the dishes. Among the breads, the croissant pie type is most recommended. It is freshly baked, crispy and very delicious. Of course, whole wheat and nut breads are also good. Mr. Murad from the restaurant also greeted us in Chinese, often came over to see what we needed, and then brought us hot coffee or tea. They are always paying attention to their guests and you can really feel their warm service. Regarding towels, mineral water, slippers, etc., call the front desk, and the handsome guy from the room service will bring them immediately, very fast. I stayed at the Baku International Travel Agency Sheraton Hotel for eight nights. It is like this every time. It is very good. Great hotel, great location, spacious room. There are a couple of points: the view of the residence is a view into the wall of the building, breakfast is from 9 to 11 and at 10:59 everything is already cleaned, this is the first time I’ve seen this

The second hotel we stayed in Baku and still could not provide shower caps (basic amenities?). No water offered either. Staff were ok. Breakfast was good. We didn’t like the rainfall shower head and the room temperature was too warm. (We asked the receptionist to adjust the temperature but still warm. We woke up sweating). The location was perfect, though. A few minutes from Metro, and bustling areas.

It was very nice and really great. The location was great and the hotel restaurant was really delicious. The staff was always polite and very helpful. I really enjoyed it there.

A wonderful hotel located in the old part of wonderful Baku. From the metro to the hotel it is only 5 minutes on foot. Near the hotel there are all the necessary grocery stores, as well as a wide variety of cafes and restaurants. Our room was huge - executive, with a balcony. The room has TV, telephone, coffee machine (which really didn’t work). Shampoo, shower gel, conditioner and body cream are provided in the bath. They also give you a washcloth. Breakfast is a good buffet. There is always something to eat. Very nice and polite staff, everyone speaks Russian. Cleaning and change of towels daily. The only disappointment was that the hotel is located in a high multi-storey building, but the hotel itself is only on the first 3 floors :) so don’t expect a good view of the flame towers from your room :) And everything is fine. I recommend.

The Merchant Hotel is a new luxury hotel in the heart of the old town, right on a pedestrian street lined with cafes and restaurants. We had a luxurious room with a balcony and a view of the local Arbat. We had a delicious morning breakfast. The hotel employs beautiful, smiling people who treat Russians well and always meet any request of the guest.

I read good reviews and came. On Sunday you can't get to the hotel, the roads are closed, it's about 150 meters to walk, but keep that in mind if you have suitcases. There is no elevator either, so be prepared. Everything else seems to be fine for a 3-star hotel. But, all night until 3 o'clock there was club music playing downstairs, and you can't hear it in the hallway or from the street, but you can't sleep in the room... Overall, the impression was spoiled, I couldn't get enough sleep for an early flight...

Amazing stay , excellent service from the reception above above excellence ! ,The location is perfect everything is a walk a way ! Perfect hotel .. the only issue is the housekeeping they dont clean they only arrange .. I faced issue with the toilet and noticed that its wasnt cleaned at all! Even the room tissue box was empty they didnt fill it they didnt notice because they dont clean even when I requested tissue box it was kept a side not in the tissue box container .. However, receptionist are always eager to help and assist they even offer the cleaning service mid night just to help ! A perfect hotel they only need to work on elevating the housekeepers Note: rooms at a lower level and on a particular road are very noisy because of the cars you cant sleep , so request moving to a higher floor or another side of the hotel

This is a clean, convenient, stylish and lovely hotel. The room was the perfect size. The location was great, close to the Flame Towers. And the best part was the warmfull staff.
