I forgot to book my breakfast and it is quite costly (A$42) for walk-in. I don’t know I have another choice till I reached Melbourne Novotel Hotel. Trip.com is very helpful that helps me contact the hotel and lower my charges in breakfast. It is too late to know that! I paid $42 for my breakfast. 😢

Great hotel right on the river
A little bit further away from centre of cbd but worth a little extra walk
Only negative is no free parking for guests
$49 is a bit steep when you are already paying top dollar for the room

One bedroom and one living room is very suitable for family travel. It is very clean and has a balcony to enjoy the sunshine. There is a small supermarket, Japanese supermarket, and Asian supermarket opposite. Turning a corner is a shopping street in the city. The coffee in the coffee shop downstairs is completely comparable to the coffee in Melbourne. The service attitude is also very good. The flight was delayed and I arrived at the hotel at 2 o'clock. There was always someone waiting at the front desk. I was very satisfied.

Very nice stay!!!
The hotel is super convenient which is close to everything, a large supermarket cross the road and large shopping mall, close to Queen Street.
And the room is clean and large, totally enough to open two large luggages. I booked for studio room, which including microwave and dining table, plates etc, very friendly for the stay.
Overall I would recommend to stay in this hotel in Brisbane!!

Great location in the city. However, amenities and cleanliness of the rooms are very outdated and not maintained (Hence, the dustiness in certain items such as hairdryer & nespresso machine). Telephone in the room had hardly any instructions on how to use it as well as not being able to function when using it to call reception/room service.

The room is very good and safe, the kitchen is very good, the parking is a bit expensive, it feels quite troublesome the first time, but it is very good and safe once you are familiar with it.

The service at the front desk of the hotel is very good. When checking in, checking out, and storing luggage, they all have a good attitude. Thank you very much for their friendly help. The hotel is a bit old, there is no shower curtain or sliding door, and the water can easily bounce on the floor when taking a shower. However the bed was very comfortable and slept well.

Oaks Festival is by far the best apartment hotel of the many we have previously stayed at in Brisbane.
It is impeccably clean, well furnished, beds are super comfy, the shower is amazing and you could not wish for a better location.
Will definitely book to stay there again on my next visit to Brisbane.

AAnonymous UserThe room rate is cheap. I booked a cheaper hotel because I had to get up early to catch the flight. The only drawback was that I was given a disabled room on the lower floor. I had to get up early the next day so I didn't ask for a room change. The floor was high and I could smell the fumes from the restaurant downstairs. I recommend booking a room on a higher floor.

PPingan2005The hotel is not bad, send the child to the University of Queensland, take a taxi to the school for 20 Australian dollars, it is a little problem to stay, Ctrip service is very good, and later solved,
VVentraseeThis hotel has a good location. Approximately 3 minute walk from tarin station. We booked the high floor balcony room for a night stay and it was good! The view from the balcony is fantastic. The bed and pillows are comfortable. The staff are great and accommodating. The shower has good pressure. The shower hose is too high, good for tall people. However, the parking area is terrible. Overall, it is great!

GGuest UserPros:
Overall Quality for the family leisure stay is good.
Excellent location, quiet environment and yet easy to access to all major attractions : Kangaroo Point, Museums, Street Beach, etc...
Cons:
The 24 hour pre booking requirement for the swimming pool was a little discouraging and disappointing.
There was no tray for holding oil or sauce residue in the stove so we had to buy aluminium foil.
GGuest UserI had a perfectly pleasant stay until thhe day before I checked out when someone from reception entered the room (while I was in there) under the impression that I was supposed to have checked out. It was probably a simple mistake, which while invasive is also understandable. No apology, but they are mostly meaningless anyway and it probably wasn't the fault of the person who entered the room. Hadbit ended there I wouldn't have mentioned it, but the same thing happened again when despite the 'do not disturb' sign on the door housekeeping also entered the room also under the mistaken impression that I had checked out. I called reception after the second incident and was put on hold for 18 minutes before they eventually tried to put the blame on housekeeping (and repeatedly got my name wrong, which I wouldn't have cared about if it weren't for the being on hold and the weasily attempt to put what was clearly a reception error on the housekeeping staff). The whole incident left a lingering bad impression, which is unfortunate after an otherwise very pleasant and uneventful stay.
AAnonymous UserThe room is spacious and comfortable, the bed is of moderate firmness and softness, making it a comfortable sleep. The location of the apartment is a bit far from the main urban attractions. If you don't have a car, you need to take a bus to get there. However, there are also good views by the nearby river, which is only a 10-minute walk away.
