"I had a wonderful experience at this hotel and cannot recommend it enough. Everything was fantastic from start to finish. The highlight of my stay was definitely the owner; she is incredibly kind and helpful. She went above and beyond to assist me in renting an electric scooter, which made exploring the area so much easier. The property was spotlessly clean, and the location is very convenient. There is a convenience store just a 2-minute walk away, which was very handy. If you are looking for a great place to stay with top-notch service, this is it."

My stay was excellent; the bed was big and the bedding very clean. It completely surpasses any hostel I've stayed at in mainland China – truly friendly and comfortable for a solo traveler. "The guesthouse offers airport or pier pick-up and drop-off services. It's basically a converted house, but the rooms are nice and well-equipped, and most importantly, they're very new. The owner is very helpful and grateful for reminding us about the typhoon the next day, urging us to go to the pier early to wait in line, as the ferry was only operating two trips due to the typhoon. We arrived early and got a spot on the waiting list, thus avoiding the risk of not being able to get to Xiamen. They also held our room until check-out time so we could continue staying if we couldn't make it to Xiamen."

The homestay is very clean, it can be said to be spotless, the bedding is very skin-friendly and super comfortable, I feel that it has been dried, it is not the kind of quilt that has a musty smell and is difficult to cover, the service attitude is also very good, what problems are encountered after check-in are instant reply, That night, a big flying insect suddenly appeared in the room. I told the hotel that the hotel immediately sent someone to help me catch the insects and let me sleep well. I will stay in this room next time I come to Golden Gate.

Very exquisite and warm homestay ～ The beautiful environment makes people feel happy. The service is also quite intimate. The plants in the homestay are carefully designed and planted by the boss himself. The breakfast provided is also quite exquisite and rich in local characteristics. A wonderful stay experience! This has to be a perfect rating. The hostess was super easy to talk to. The location is fantastic, with a convenience store just a minute's walk away. There's a ton of free things in the common areas. Amenities: Everything you need. Cleanliness: Even the bricks are new, super clean. Environment: A great atmosphere. Service: The host couple is super nice.

The B&B facilities are very new, the design is cozy, and the beds are large and comfortable. Since there is only one room on the first floor, it is very quiet. Breakfast is a famous food in the city, and there are different choices every day. The staff is also very nice and will help call a car to the airport. Because we had to catch the bus, they thoughtfully arranged takeout breakfast in advance. The B&B is located in Jincheng Town, only 10 minutes away from Jincheng Station. Moreover, there is a Shaobing shop next to it, and within a few minutes walk you can reach famous markets and attractions.

The room was very clean and tidy. The hygiene was excellent. The price was reasonable. It's a 10-minute drive from the city center. There's a Carrefour right next to the guesthouse, which is very convenient. Overall, it's excellent value for money and highly recommended for a trip to Kinmen. What I really want to mention is the owner's kindness. We changed our plans on the afternoon of the second day, so we couldn't book this guesthouse and booked another one. We left our luggage at the guesthouse and went out to explore during the day. We didn't return to retrieve our luggage until very late at night. When the owner heard we were coming back, he immediately came out to greet us. Since our electric scooter couldn't fit our large suitcases, and it started raining, he quickly tried to squeeze them in on his motorcycle, very kindly trying to find a solution for us. In the end, he managed to fit our suitcases in his motorcycle. He even carried our luggage in the rain to another guesthouse and then back in the rain himself. We were incredibly touched. Thank you for meeting such a kind person while traveling. 🙏 Otherwise, we wouldn't have known how to get our luggage back that night, as it's impossible to get a taxi at night. Wishing the owner great success in their business. Thank you for your help this evening; I'll definitely stay at your place again next time I'm in Kinmen. 👍

The homestay is in a great location. It is very convenient with a 7-11, a Family Mart, and a supermarket nearby. About 10 minutes walk to the town center and bus terminal. Many restaurant choices in town. The owner of the homestay provided a free ride to the Kinmen-Xiamen ferry pier, which was wonderful as there are only taxi services available on the island. Uber does not operate in Kinmen

This trip to Xiamen was arranged via the ”Mini Three Links” from Kinmen. The Kinmen itinerary included 3 days and 2 nights, with accommodation at the Kinmen Shimei Resort. The facilities and services were excellent (a triple room had 2 bedrooms, 1 living room, 1 bathroom, and 1 kitchen). A special commendable aspect was the breakfast service; the chefs and staff provided detailed explanations on how to heat the food to enhance its flavor. It showed a genuine dedication to serving guests (this embodies the spirit of Kinmen – hospitality and treating tourists like family and friends) – truly admirable! The only drawback was the resort's remote location (far from Kinmen city, the airport, and Shuitou Wharf). Improvements in facilities and services are needed – such as free airport shuttle service and discounted taxi/motorcycle rentals. These are just my personal opinions, suggestions, and thoughts; I hope they are helpful. Finally, I wish everyone a happy, safe, and enjoyable trip!

Got a free upgrade of my room. Staff is very quiet but very helpful when asked. You just need to be more proactive. Room is very big. Hotel is walking distance to shanwai bus station which is the terminal of the bus station. From there, you can take the your bus or go somewhere else. Hotel also close to few eatery. Breakfast is nice. I like the porridge. Toilet ventilation can be further improve. But since in staying alone, it's not much of a problem to me.

Nice little hotel not too far from the city and right next to the beach. The room is simple but cozy and has a balcony (that is shared with the neighbours room). The walls are very thin so you can hear everything that is happening in the hotel. Wifi wasn't reaching our room very well - not suitable for work or streaming. The owner is kind and helpful.

An extremely comfortable, albeit not luxury hotel. Extremely clean and managed by a very friendly and helpful staff. For me, it was a great place to get away from the nearby Xiamen and enjoy free internet. Maybe the choice of dining in the vicinity is not exceptional, but I managed to find a cozy noodle place, managed by some local Kinmen residents who nevertheless spoke some English. Finally, a great value for money. Highly recommended.
