"Facilities: The TV was really bad. I switched rooms twice and neither worked. The first one had no signal at all, and the remote for the second one didn't work, so I had to use voice commands the whole time. It was the oldest version of TV, only able to watch basic channels, and you couldn't watch anything without a membership or cast your screen. Also, when the lights were on, there was a horizontal line that was a bit uncomfortable to look at. The shower knob in the bathroom was the rotating kind, and if your hands had any soap on them, you couldn't turn it. You had to use a tissue, which was a bit of a hassle. Cleanliness: The cleaning staff did a very thorough job. The sheets and duvet covers were all changed. Environment: The location is pretty good, with very convenient transportation outside. However, in the morning, there's a lot of honking, and in the evening around 8 PM, there's square dancing outside the hotel. If you're on a lower floor, it's probably very noticeable, and there's not much that can be done about it, but it was genuinely a bit noisy. I wanted to turn on the TV to drown out the noise, but then the TV didn't even work. However, the breakfast was delicious! There was porridge and soy milk, and the cured meat was very tasty! The fried eggs were made fresh, which was great. I also ordered takeout nearby. The milk tea was really good and great value for money, only 13 yuan, very yummy! Service: The front desk staff and manager were very nice, and the cleaning lady was also very friendly and proactive in trying to solve issues. But they couldn't do anything about the hardware and environmental problems. Room: The first twin room was so small, located in a corner. After the TV broke, I moved to another twin room, which was twice the size of the first one. When I checked out, I noticed that only room 308 seemed to match the large room shown in the example photos. This was my experience during this stay. I hope it helps everyone."

This trip with three elderly guests turned out to be the warmest experience we've ever had on Meizhou Island! I booked two sea-view rooms, each with a terrace offering unobstructed ocean views. My elders could simply sit and watch the tides rise and fall without any hassle. We checked in on the 14th day of the first ***** month, and I was worried about the elderly guests' mobility issues getting around to meals. However, the landlady was incredibly thoughtful. She had her brother take me to the market on an electric scooter to buy seafood while the elderly guests rested and enjoyed the view. That evening, she even took us to see the local village's Mazu welcoming and sending-off ceremony—a truly authentic experience of Mazu culture, filled with the sounds of gongs and drums, the aroma of incense, and dazzling fireworks. This genuine immersion in Mazu culture is something tourists can't find on their own. Even more heartwarming was her thoughtfulness. Seeing that my mother had knee problems, she offered her some knee ointment. The next day, when the weather turned cold, she brought my father a jacket so he could wear it to the pier across the water to return it to the Mazu liaison office. These small gestures deeply touched us. The rooms were clean, conveniently located, and offered beautiful views, but what we remembered most was the landlady's warm hospitality. Meizhou Island boasts beautiful scenery and warm hospitality. I highly recommend this guesthouse when traveling to Meizhou Island.

My stay at the hotel on Meizhou Island far exceeded my expectations! The hotel is in a prime location, with azure ocean and blue sky visible from the window. The beach is just a few minutes' walk away, and watching the sunset in the evening is simply breathtaking. The room was clean and spacious, with a warm and elegant design and brand new facilities, making it a very comfortable stay. The B&B is situated right on the stunning coastline, with breathtaking ocean views just outside the window. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves and waking up to the sunshine and sea breeze every day was an immersive experience! The room was warm and stylish, with impeccable attention to detail. The host was so welcoming and helpful, not only recommending numerous hidden local itineraries but also giving a small gift before leaving. I loved my stay and will definitely be back!

This accommodation experience was very, very good! The room is large and bright, clean, tidy, warm and comfortable. There are even disposable toilet seats in the bathroom, which is much better than other B&Bs. It was very quiet at night, the bed was comfortable and I slept soundly. The Rainbow Road by the sea is very beautiful. You can drink tea on the balcony and enjoy the sea view, which is very comfortable. The boss and his wife are warm and attentive in their service. The soy milk for breakfast is freshly made every day and is very delicious. As soon as you drink it, you can tell that it is not made from soy milk powder that is made for the sake of cheapness and convenience. The breakfast is buffet style, very clean, hot and warm. The corn is sticky and fragrant, very healthy and delicious. It was also the first time I had shredded squid for breakfast. It was sweet and refreshing. I read the guide on a certain website, and it specifically mentioned that the must-try food on Meizhou Island is Chunweifang’s special fried buns. We went to buy some that afternoon but were scared away by the long line and didn’t get to try them. To our surprise, we saw them on the breakfast table at the B&B the next day, and they were really delicious! It seems that the proprietress really put a lot of effort into preparing these breakfasts to present the special snacks of Meizhou Island, focusing on health and wellness. Especially since the prices on Meizhou Island are so expensive, the family can save a lot of money by having a full breakfast! !

For a newly developed hotel, it's worth a visit, but I recommend driving for convenience. The hotel is about a 20-minute drive from town. If you'd like to order takeout in the evening, unfortunately, we don't offer it. The hotel's location is perfect for watching the sunset. The rooftop pool, perhaps rarely used, has moss on the bottom and the water isn't particularly clean, making it a good spot for photos. Swimming is not recommended once you exit the hotel, but it's a great place for photos! Also, the hotel's room cleaning needs improvement; it's not up to par. A laundry room would have been much better.

My wife and I chose this place for our honeymoon because we loved their infinity pool. We initially booked a sea-view room, but later paid extra for their terrace pool room. The terrace directly faces the sea, offering panoramic views of the shimmering water and distant islands. Watching the sunrise and sunset from the terrace was an amazing experience. Location: Located on Lianchi'ao Beach, the guesthouse is built right on the beach, offering stunning sea views right from the room door. Room amenities: 2. The king-size bed was incredibly comfortable. The private pool on the terrace was a unique feature; after swimming, we relaxed on the lounge chairs next to the pool, enjoying the sea breeze – so relaxing we didn't want to leave. The room's decor was simple yet stylish, with wooden floors and large windows providing excellent natural light. It even had a projector, so we could watch movies with the sea view from bed at night. The package includes complimentary pier pick-up and drop-off, exquisite breakfast and afternoon tea with a variety of delicious snacks, fruits, and drinks. Enjoying these on the terrace with the sea view creates a truly special experience. The infinity pool on the first floor is also very photogenic. Overall, the place is very clean, the service is attentive, and the facilities are new, especially the comfortable lounge chairs.

This is the hotel I booked after comparing with so many other hotels. The room is so big hahaha. The price/performance ratio is very high. The sanitation is unexpectedly clean, the air is good, and it is very transparent. There are also projectors and air conditioners. There are even disposable toilet covers and bath towels. The mineral water is also branded. I didn't take it away after checking out, but bought a bottle at the convenience store downstairs for two yuan. Overall it is very good and the price is reasonable. I will come again next time! ! ! Hehehe~

The room was spacious with a great sea view and a lovely atmosphere, plus it had its own private beach. The service was excellent, with convenient pick-up and drop-off. The breakfast spread was extensive, and the Putian-style fried noodles were delicious. In the evening, I ordered a small portion of Xinghua braised noodles, which was also very tasty. It's also very close to the Geopark.

I don’t really write reviews unless exceptionally good or bad but this is really a negative experience … Firstly, not recommended if coming to stay in cold season (Autumn/ Winter/ Spring). The aircon/ heater system is centralised so you can’t adjust the temperature. Secondly, according to the receptionist, they only have ONE tower fan so not really available. Lastly, the attitude of receptionist and housekeeping is extremely unfriendly compared to before (I stayed here 3 times) and I put a good review in 2023. This time, the solution they provided to a female guest is to open the window and curtain at night for cold air… which I personally think is inconsiderate for a female guest. I gave my feedback to the receptionist when I checked-out so hopefully they can add more tower fans to their inventory.
