What a pleasant surprise! The hotel owner upgraded us to a sea-view room for free since it was off-season. The sea view was absolutely stunning! The room itself was incredibly well-equipped, with a cleverly designed bathroom featuring a separate wet and dry area. The shower had excellent water pressure and instant hot water, which was fantastic. The blackout curtains were super effective, ensuring a peaceful nap without any light disturbance. Plus, there's a free, convenient parking lot right on site, which was a huge bonus. Honestly, the facilities here far exceed other hotels in the same category. Our stay was incredibly comfortable and relaxing. Highly recommend!

The family running it very friendly and helpful. We rent a car with driver from them too. The driver, very helpful and patience as he drives us to find spots for birdwatching around Honglaiwan. We spent 2 days driving around town, went to windmill island and romantic beach. Our bed a bit hard, the staff gave us more bed topcover to make more comfortable and even offering us if we don't like it, we can change room too. Overall, very pleasant and enjoying so much the visit to Shanwei.

The first two pictures were taken directly from Apple, and the latter were taken with a camera in the room This time I booked a bathtub, but the experience was not as good as last time because the water heater was too small and could not put much water. A warm welcome to my stay. The staff were kind and friendly. Considering I am a foreigner traveling to this city, the staff were accommodating for my low level of Chinese mandarin speaking. They offered an escort to my room for clear direction. The room is spacious and offers a great stay. Towels and bedding provided. Clothes washer in the room. Balcony is wide with a sunny view. I will definitely book again! The neighborhood is quiet with some small restaurants and shops. Swimming gear available at many locations.

Perhaps because it's the off-season, the prices weren't high, and it seems like most of the hotels in the area are apartments. The room was well-equipped, and they generally provided disposable toiletries, which was reassuring. The cleanliness wasn't as bad as some reviews mentioned. The room was very close to the beach, probably about 50 meters as the crow flies; it's only a two- or three-minute walk to the sand. It's great value for money; for around 100 yuan, you can't really complain.
