We really enjoyed staying at Royal Retreat Villas.
I really appreciated all the small touches the staff made to make our stay more special, like the lighting of the mosquito coil at night so we could enjoy our patio without being bitten.
We enjoyed the lovely garden and the quietness of the property. We found the rooms incredibly well maintained. We appreciated the kindness of the staff, how they made an effort for our breakfast.

The hotel is on the mountain of Lembongan Island, very close to the Cliff Hotel. The transportation is definitely inconvenient. You need to rent a motorcycle and you can't see the sea, but the swimming pool is very clean.

Positive points - Warm welcome - located 1 min walk from 3 restaurants and 5 mins by scooter from bars - Scooter rental on site - Possibility of taking a boat trip to swim with manta rays + snorkeling at 2 spots. It is the manager who takes you there and we have a great time with him. We did it and had the chance to swim with manta rays. Negative points - wooden cottage, so no soundproofing outside and between the cottages Top value for money Our only regret: not having spent an extra night there. It takes more time because of the trip by boat.
